Straightforward installation with no special tools required (would recommend exhaust bushing removal tool). Able to install euro type ball mount with no issue. Hitch opening sits about 10-1/4" off ground, I used a ball mount with 5-1/8" rise for U-Haul trailer.
Arrived quickly in excellent condition and was a breeze to put together
. Bolted up in just a few minutes and looks to be strong and secure. Good product at a reasonable price.
After researching through the internet, it was apparent there are no ready made hitches for the Ioniq Plug In Hybrid. Thanks to an Ioniq, I was inspired to check with our auto mechanic shop and our metal fabrication shop. Both concurred that the notch I would arrange to have removed would not weaken or pose any danger when using the recommended load .
I ordered this hitch, made a template of where the notch had to be cut, transferred the pattern to the hitch, where our metal workers removed the piece. I was able to install it without a problem, just needed another person to help me once the hitch has to be bolted in.
I have had this for a year, it carries a vertical tandem bike. This hitch has been a delight!
Received the package with holes all over it. The box should probably reinforced a bit more in the spot where the receiver tube fits in the box. Paint was scraped up pretty bad, but since it's a big hunk of steel, it figured it doesn't really matter. One of the side rails was not aligned correctly, so I had to bend it out a bit to get it to fit. Otherwise, installed well enough, and looks great on the vehicle (e.g., tucks in well, and not obtrusive). I cut a hole in hole in the panel, so all of the mounting hardware could be used still. Using the picture as a reference, someone else could probably trim even less. I'll only be using it for a hitch bike rack.
The box that it arrived was torn up
I am very happy with my hitch. It installed my Yakima bike rack perfectly with no issue. The instructional video was very helpful! My brother had to help me while we bolted it on but it was fairly simple.
Went on even easier than the directions said. I only had to remove
the underbody cover from the driver's side and it slipped right in. Works like a charm. Very pleased with the hitch.

The hitch got a little bent out of shape in shipping. Nothing that a little prying and BH couldn't handle.

It's a hitch! I put in on a 2018 Hyundai Ioniq plug-in hybrid. To get it on the plug in you do need to cut a small piece off of the hitch near the bolt holes on one side. Someone did it for me for ~100. Pretty impossible to find another hitch that'll work for this car.
Shipment was quite delayed, but I believe this was because of international shipping backlogs. The frame is perhaps heavier/stronger than needed for my little hybrid, but the fit was flawless and the installation took less than an hour start to finish.
Had this product for about a year, after installation it’s performed exactly as advertised. The site was also super easy to deal with and shipping was easy. Would recommend!

My receiver came a day early, in good shape, the instruction were clear and informative. I did not need to take down the muffler hanger, i simply put the passenger side over the muffler pipe and sprung the rubber hangers down a little and the receiver went into place.
What took the most time as others have said was the precision surgery necessary to cut the plastic undercoating to accommodate the receiver. Torquing the bolts was no problem more than enough room to get the wrench in.

Do you only thing I would change about this product is I have a 2 inch receiver other than that it works pretty well.

An excellent product. It was very easy to install, taking less than 30 minutes even though my right rotator cuff is marginally fixed. Installation is on a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid.

Works great and for people who needs a 2 hitch option: you can buy adapter, it sticks out a bit but when attached properly works very well at least for my bike rack. I wasnt trying it for towing.
