This Curt Class I hitch gives you a sturdy 2" x 2" receiver opening rated for 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. That makes it a solid option for towing small trailers or adding a bike rack or cargo carrier for extra hauling space. It’s built from fully welded steel with precision, robotic welds that maximize strength and ensure a consistent fit.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch in place. The bolt-on design lines up with factory points, so you can handle the install in your driveway using the complete hardware kit that comes in the box. There’s no welding required, and the included instructions walk you through the process step by step.
The gloss black powder coat finish isn’t just there for style—it’s layered over a protective base coat to keep rust and corrosion away. The square-tube design keeps things simple and strong while staying easy to clean thanks to the open-back receiver tube.
This hitch makes it easy to load up gear without overstuffing the trunk. Use it with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, attach your bike rack, or pull a small utility trailer. Whether you’re hauling camping gear or bikes, this setup gives you reliable towing capability without a big footprint on your vehicle.

Got here in less than 48 hours- fit per fect
It was easy to install,11/2 hr.
Fits perfectly. Installation was easy. Great buy!
High quality hitch, arrived in 2 business days, 3 hours to install, used the YouTube video by U-Haul.
We installed this hitch on my wife’s brand new Corolla Cross Hybrid SE. With an installation difficulty rating of 10 out of 10, we knew we had to take our time. It ended up taking us almost 4 hours instead of 2, but we also installed the wiring harness for the trailer while we had the bumper cover off. We also took the time to test all of the car and trailer lights before putting everything back together. The step-by-step installation instructions are great. Everything went very smoothly.
Perfect fit, got the hitch installed as part of a bump up repair, reinforcing bar was going to cost me over $190, the hitch bolted right in so I got the hitch for almost nothing. Body shop said it was a direct fit with no mods required to car. Beautiful!
Fit well with all needed parts.
I had my nephew help me, but we did it in about an hour and 15 minutes
I just installed the hitch today. The hitch installed easily once the bumper was removed. The most difficult portion was getting the moulding off the fenders and getting the tail lights out. I am happy with the fit and finish overall.
In the install video they should have told us that Toyota plastic fasteners are not reusable. Had to go to Toyota parts for a new set. Other than that very useful.
Experience purchasing in Etrailer was excellent. I Import this hitch to my country and I installed it in a Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid 2026! This model has bumper sensors, and we had to cut the panel where the cable pass, and only adapt it in same place of the bumper. Installation took 3 hrs easy and calm mood to make it fine! without issues. I am very happy with it, and also because of the support Etrailer team gave me.

Thanks for sharing Claudia and really appreciate the photos! Glad we could help make this a simple process for you.
I wanted a hitch only for a bike rack. I did not wire for towing anything. I'm 66 and took my time. Total time was 3 hours but I was interrupted a few times.
I had watched the video and tried to beat the Florida heat by installing it in the morning. I also saved money by doing it myself.
I followed the video instructions to a "T", very good Video!

Install looks great Michael! I like to take my time with any project I am working on, less likely to mess anything up that way. Do you have a specific trail you like to ride? I just got a bike this last weekend, I am super excited to hit the Katy Trail here in Missouri with the grandkids =)

We love to hear that! It looks nice on the vehicle too. What are you planning on using the hitch for?
