This fully welded Curt Class III hitch gives you a 2" x 2" receiver opening that’s built for real towing and hauling. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs, or up to 10,000 lbs GTW and 1,000 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. That solid, square-tube design is made from powder coated steel that stands up to corrosion while keeping its strength mile after mile.
You don’t need a lift or a welder to get this hitch in place. The bolt-on design mounts directly to the frame using a complete hardware kit and step-by-step instructions. The installation doesn’t require drilling, and the fit lines up with factory holes for smooth alignment. You might need to temporarily lower the spare tire to get better access, but once it’s up there, the setup looks clean and fits tight under the rear bumper.
This 2" receiver is the right size for most towing accessories—ball mounts, bike racks, cargo platforms, or whatever else you use to haul gear. The concealed cross tube keeps it looking neat while still giving you full Class III capability. It’s a sturdy all-around hitch that handles light to moderate trailers just as easily as weekend cargo setups.

Everything was in the kit like they described it. Installation was very easy. Agree with the other gentleman one grounding bolt was in the way but very simple to move. Would recommend this product to everyone.

The product said no drilling for installation but I did have to drill a pre existing hole a little bit bigger on my 1996 Chevy Silverado. Otherwise, product is great

Great hitch. Took me a lot longer than 2 hours because my truck has aftermarket dual exhaust. The mufflers were in the way so I had to cut off the muffler hangers to move the pipes so the hitch would line up. Had to mess with raising the spare tire because the crossover pipe from one muffler to the other was in the way & the front of the hitch was in the way also. Had to line up the spare tire as I raised it. Will be going to the muffler shop so they can reline everything. After all that, the hitch bolted on with no problem. I love how well made the Curt hitch is. My truck is a 1991 Silverado 1500 with step bumper.
Fit perfectly onto our truck and installation was easy. I am not sure if this was an issue with specifically our truck but the two holes for the middle mount positions had to be drilled to make them larger to accept the provided bolts. Have been hauling all sorts of stuff since receiving and has done great. The only negative I have on the receiver is that the loops for the chains slightly interfere with the pin for the hitch. I need to lift the pin to get it out of the way to attach the chains.
Overall it does a great job, easy to install, and was a great price.
Great product fits under my vehicle perfect works fine
It took a couple of new holes in the frame of the truck and a transmission jack to lift and position (it was heavy), it's mounted and really solid. I've pulled my travel trailer, a loaded car hauler and pulled heavy Oak logs out of some timber. I would NOT trade it for a different kind. If I break anything it won't be the hitch.
What can one possibly say about a trailer hitch? It works, that's the bottom line.
The last hitch I had that came with my truck 22 years ago, had rusted so bad inside the receiver tube that the ball mount simply could not be removed, they had rusted together so bad even a torch wouldn't remove them. So when I got the new receiver I coated it inside with "never cease", a compound that's prevents rusting. Hopefully this will work for the next 22 years
Product installation was super easy.
Basically plug in and go.
No wire nuts or flimsy connectors that are just a source of corrosion.

Working great! The finish has held up great despite living on a gravel road.
I purchased the wrong one by mistake. I have duel exhaust and the one with the inner lip doesn’t fit so i returned it. And they charge w $40 but I tried to exchange it for the right one. I think that was unfair after all I just wanted the right one other than that it’s a nice hitch no pictures I’m not all the way satisfied

Great I received the wrong item at first but they replaced it I think they charge me for a return I’m not sure
Prompt delivery. Exactly as described. Everything needed for installation with precise instructions. Perfect fit and receiver is flush with bumper. Truck is rated for 5000 lbs, but will only be used for 3000 lb boat or small utility trailer. Thanks again, you guys are great.
