I have another option but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13942 will not fit on your 1992 Chevrolet CK 1500 if you do not have a roll pan.
This is due to the fact that the roll pan hitches sit higher up and require a cut out in the roll pan for the hitch. With your standard bumper the hitch would be behind the bumper instead of under it.
As long as you have a standard rear bumper I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13042 which will put the receiver tube under the bumper, as you can see in the photo I attached of this hitch installed on a customers truck.
Since you are planning on towing I recommend taking a look at the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900 which includes two ball mounts, two hitch balls, two hitch pins and clips, and a carrying case.
