The box was well built, using it exactly for what I bought it for and it works wonderful.
Great product only issue rust on the handle. Not a major issue though.
I use two on my bike trailer for straps, tools and wheel chocks.
I would recommend this product.
Made of light aluminum diamond plate. Corner seams are welded. Piano hinge is spot welded in 5 places and has 7 pop rivets too. So the lid is well secured. Foam around the lid seals well when lid is closed. The latch is a bit complicated design but looks to be functional. Yes, latch, handle and piano hinge are likely to rust if not attended to, but not a deal breaker. Could lose the giant UWS plate for sure. Otherwise, form, fit and function is AOK.
We have been using this toolbox on our trailer for one year. So far, this thing has not disappointed & still holding strong. Its compact & durable, has lasted through some pretty good snow storms & winter weather (2 winter seasons) while still operating smoothly. This is definitely worth the money & would buy again or recommend it for someone else to buy.
