This hitch handles up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, giving you solid capacity for small trailers, boats, or utility loads. The hitch originally started with a 1 1/4 receiver but has been changed to a 2 receiver. the original mounting still looks and is holding up perfectly.
When I got my hitch it did not fit. It was about an inch or more too short where the bolts screw in. I thought my 2018 ecosport had a design change. After puzzling over this for a while I noticed the brackets on the hitch were each bent inward. When I straightened them up the hitch fit fine. Other than that it was easy to install.

Worked out perfect to add spare tire to my small car that had no space for a spare
Easy install. Took less than 15 minutes. This item was installed on a 22 ecosport titanium. There was no plastic piece to remove on my vehicle so I only had to remove the exhaust clip and place back together. Easy. I did solo using a tow strap to hang the exhaust

A OK NO PROBLEMS INSTALLING OK.
From the time I jacked the car up it was about 1-1/2 hours to install the hitch. (not bad for a 71 yr. old man) Will use the hitch for my bike rack, the hitch looks good on are Eco Sport the main reason I bought from etrailer was the video of instillation of this product, a company that will take the time to make helpful videos sold me on their product. Fairly easy installation and functions well. Template for trimming plastic under bumper is not correct.

Just received this so haven't had it installed yet but no doubt it will do the job. The one thing I wanted to comment on is how fast I received this and the notifications through the order. Very nice.
Trailer hitch it's self was great although the wiring harness was not did not work from beginning I tried returning with no success got no help from customer service very disappointed
Started local hitch installer who couldn't do job in my timeframe. So, I started over, discovered etrailer, ordered hitch, received in 2 days by a normal UPS, and installed by another outfit in time for my trip -- for 1/2 the original quote! etrailer was a great find.
Hitch works well. Took a few hours due to the car being an 18 and rusty. Instructions on hitch were missing info that the one bolt it comes with is larger than 15mm. It's 19mm I think. Anyway, it works well. I took it on a test drive and it did everything as expected.
Arrived in a damaged box, but the packing protected the receiver.Installation when off without a hitch (pin intended).
