This is the third time I have ordered from etrailer-very happy with all previous transactions, and this was by far the easiest hitch to install. I only needed to jack the car up a bit to give the van some negative camber and there was plenty of crawl space to install the hitch following the usual excellent video demonstrations. the front carriage bolt is a tight fit on the 2016, but no need for drilling-it will go. fitted the hitch on my own in well under an hour using a floor jack as a 2nd pair of hands. Pictures are dark , but excellent clearance on the hitch too. Sturdy product and happy with etrailer.com-very fast delivery.
Very strong construction, excellent welds, fits around spare tire well, power coating is flawless. The hardware is strong and of appropriate sizes and was easy to mount on the vehicle. Instructions and videos of my exact vehicle were very helpful. Installation was straight forward and easy.

Just what we needed.
I installed the hitch, but had an accessories place put the wiring in as part of another customization. I was a little spooked when I opened the instructions, said I'd have to run the ground wire all the way to the front, to the battery, (gulp! on my new car!) but I didn't recall seeing any note about why it can't just ground to the frame or something else nearby, so, though I bolted the receiver on no-brainer when I got the package a year ago, I had them do the electrical installation just a few weeks ago, as they're better set up to route and feed that ground wire. The hitch section has no issues, installation went absolutely by the book, no surprises. As far as I know no problems with any of the harness installation. I will say, I particularly like the large safety chain attach loops on these newer receiver models, much easier to feed the safety chain than other receivers I've gotten from these guys. Over the years when I've needed trailer stuff, I don't shop anywhere else.
A year later and no problems. Service was good - delivery was fast and in good shape.
I have purchased three or four trailer hitches from etrailer.com in the past five years, and the installations are getting easier and easier. It took about 20 minutes to install this hitch, from start to finish. I experienced zero problems. I don't have access to a hoist or ramps to get my vehicle off the ground, so I did this whole installation laying on my back in my garage. Didn't even have to jack up the vehicle! I got all four bolts into position, balanced the new hitch on a bucket, and leveraged it into place with one hand, while putting nuts on bolts with the other hand. Tightened and torqued the nuts and... voila! Installation went off without a hitch... except for the hitch, which kinda had to be there. :-)
It's been a pleasure having this hitch on my Ford Transit Connect. It is easy to use, low profile (stealthy), and looks as good as it did the day it was installed.
Great hitch easy to install. Although the receiver seems a bit big for its size. All my attachments fit in very loosely. Lots of wobble

Installation was straightforward and easy enough for me to do myself with just a little help supporting the hitch. Works perfectly for my needs, which is mainly for a bike rack.
Easy to install. The product appears to be extremely well built. The hardware is good quality as well.
The instructions mention 15 minutes install time for a pro, 30 minutes for a novice. It took me 1 hour, but I did take time to read the instructions. Also, I had to install it laying on the concrete driveway (and I'm 70 1/2 years old). So I would say it was definitely easy to install.
The written instructions are not that good. I've seen Swedish instructions on assembling flat pack furniture having better visual representations as to what goes where and how.
The saving grace was the videos on the web site showing how to approach and complete the installation. Very clever technique and very helpful.
All I have to do now is figure out how to install the wiring harness. I will be reading the instructions after writing this review.

Our hitch installed nicely and has served us well for hauling our bicycles. It's showing some early signs of rust after 1 year however and I was hoping the finish would hold up longer before the appearance of rust.
Again, another quality purchase from etrailer! I’m pretty convinced this is my one stop for parts and I’ve already filled my cart for yet another purchase!

It is a great hitch receiver. I have used it several times pulling my trailer literally across the United States.
Excellent construction and easy to install. My only issue was that the rearward holes that accept the 1/2” bolts were too small on my 2020 long wheel base Ford Transit Connect. I was easily able to enlarge them with a grinder, though, and everything fit fine.
Easiest hitch installation I’ve done! Great quality, well engineered product.
Everything came packed well. Shipped fast. Worked perfect. Me, my car and my trailer are happy. I recommend these folks.

Its just fine. The finish on it is still great, its solid, and I have no complaints.
