Question:
We just purchased a 2014 Ford Transit Connect LWB. It looks like the receiver for the C13167 is 2. Do you know if there is a Kurt hitch with a 1-1/4inch receiver? Or would I need to use an adapter. Thank you,

Expert Reply:
For your 2014 Ford Transit Connect there is a Curt Class II 1-1/4 inch hitch available for your vehicle. For that you would want the part # C12123.
Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
