Get a new vehicle, first thing is go to etrailer and buy a Curt trailer for bikes. Happy with last one I got from my GTI and this also is excellent for my Mazda CX-3. Install was challenging until it wasn't.
Great fit and fairly easy to install. A couple of things to note: there some plastic components up under the back bumper that need to be removed (2016 Mazda CX-3 4 door sport) or the hitch will not go into place. The hitch uses the existing 4 lower bumper bolts to attach it. Recommend that bolts on the passenger side get lined up into the hitch first - this made it a lot easier to install. Once installed - you'll have about 9-1/2 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the Receiver.
Because of my vehicles exhaust system there aren’t many hitch options and the car manufacturer doesn’t offer a hitch.
Compared to other hitch brand, etrailer provides several design options to choose from. I decided on the low profile, almost hidden design.
Shipping was fast and installation was an absolute breeze. No special tools, no drilling or cutting. The online video associated with this specific hitch and specific to my vehicle was all I needed to quickly and confidently complete the install.
Awesome little product. I fit my Yakima holdup rack and it seems to hold everything with no problem. Very little movement in the attachments.
Very low profile as well. Easy install. Would definitely recommend.

I did add some steel strapping that I got at the hardware store to replace the body support. Used some plastic to keep it from rubbing against the hitch. Glued it in place. Finished with a bit of paint to prevent corrosion. Plan is to mount the bicycle rack to the hitch. I did purchase the support strap, not pictured.
The box came damaged with the product being exposed. It does not look to be structural damage (besides paint scuff on end). Garage will not be installing until late November so hopefully all good.
This was a very positive experience & a great deal. I ordered the trailer hitch knowing from the website that it would fit my make and model of car. A friend easily installed it for me and we've been happily using it to securely hold our bikes and rack for the past year.

Its still holding up very well. I use a Yakima platform rack with it, and holds it sturdily.
Worlds great thanks. Am sorry u can barely see the hitch because I put my rack already.

Update: I had to replace the Curt receiver as it flexed and bent causing the bike rack to begin ping down. Curt recommends a supporting strap that just isnt practical on my car due to spoiler. I ordered the DrawTite hitch which is a much beefier design and I am not experiencing the same issues. I would highly recommend the DrawTite hitch over the Curt. To be fair, Ive had Curt products before and they performed well. Just in this case I feel the DrawTite is a superior product.
The product was easy to install (five bolts)and when I submitted a question about the plastic bumper offsets, they responded the same day saying they they did not need to be reinstalled.

fairly well. The on-line installation videos are excellent. For the CX3
Mazda 2017 I don't think the washer provided is the correct thickness. Even
after the correct torque (95 foot pounds) the washer is a little loose, I
think because the tow hook for the 2017 may be a little different than the
2016. Anyway that's not a big deal. I'll just add a metal shim.

Hitch works great. Had it installed by our local mechanic for $50 so in total, compared to U-Haul, we saved over $100!

Still doing well.
Perfect fit for Mazda CX3 sport. Will be using it for a bike rack. Associated video was super helpful. Do not hesitate to buy this for your Mazda CX3. If you follow the instructions in the video, installation is simple. My hitch was shipped within hours of placing my order.

It went on with no issues. All of the additional information provided here was a help in putting on the hitch. The only issue that needs to be solved is the electrical connection.
I'm am happy with the product, good design and no need to remove the bumper brakets as sone sone instructions suggest just lower your muffler and your there. About a half hour install.
