Video Transcript for Camco FasTen RV Leveling Blocks Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Camco fast 10 RV leveling blocks with carrying handle. These 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inch leveling blocks come in a quantity of 10 and gray. The part number is CAM44521, and hive is yellow, part number is CAM44512. Now our fast-10 blocks, as we've said, are available in two different colors. This is going to be the gray color, a little less noticeable while you're around the campsite, and then for the ones you don't want to leave behind or have a habit of forgetting them, those hive yellow kind of stand out in that campsite and tell you what to look for. These are the 17 inch variety, these are for use with dual rear wheels, these are 8 1/2 inch by 8 1/2 inch variety, these are going to work out really well for the front wheels of our camper or even for our stabilization jacks or things like that. A couple of nice things that I really, really like about these leveling systems and a couple of problems that have kind of been solved with the new fast 10 set up.

Look here, you look, they're not going to fall apart and they're not going to wobble. That's all thanks to the built-in carrying handle. As you can see, we pop that up, gives this a great way to get them around, get them around to the wheels when we need them, instead of having a whole armload of blocks and trying to get them over there and dropping a few. That really solves that problem. All we have to do is unthread our handle, pop it out, we're going to have full use of our blocks, whichever ones we don't need we'll put our handle right back down through, and just tighten it down to get it secured in place.

Now that you can see the interlocking design, where they're going to slide right down on one another, almost like the little kid's blocks that we don't like to step on as we're walking around. They really give us a good hold, and these aren't going to be something that we have to worry about them sliding on us. Once we get the weight of our vehicle up on there, as opposed to a couple of wood blocks or something, we don't have to worry about that shifting or any changes. Now that we've kind of gone over what they're going to do, let's go up and see them in action. Now what we want to do is park our RV or camper on the level-est surface we can find in our campsite there, and then we'll determine exactly how much lift we need. Now each block is going to give us one inch of lift, and we can go all the way up to 4, giving us 4 and 1/2 inches with the interlocking tab that sticks up here on the top.

That's going to be as high as you want to go. You don't want to go above that. To use them, you just take out your T handle there. We're going to start stacking them up, interlocking them as we do. Now you can see, we're going to put the second row kind of midway.

That's going to tie in the first and the second block in that lower row together, so that we don't have to worry about that sliding and stuff we had talked about. Once we get the height set where we want it, we'll just secure the rest of our blocks here. It's nice that they're going to move together, so we don't have to worry about moving one, and then the other one's not in line or anything like that. We just line that right up in front of the tire, and we'll be able to pull right up and on. Here we can see the blocks with the load on. As you can see, no signs of stress or they don't sink down or anything. Each of these interlocking blocks are going to fill up the hole below the one on top of them, giving us pure direct contact right down to the ground. Another great thing, once we have the load on here, no shifting, no moving, no issues to deal with. Now with all the fun said and done and it's time to pack up and go home, we're just going to reverse the process. We're to back off of them, we'll take our handle out. Now these are all leveling blocks, even the black one that we've got on the bottom, but that's the one that's threaded. That is the one that you want to have on the bottom when you stack your blocks up for your threaded rod or T-handle to work properly. They stack nice and easily, put them all together there, a few turns of our T-handle, and that's really all there is to it. We can just tuck these away in our storage compartment, and we'll have them when we need them next time. The nice thing about them, they're not wobbling around. We don't have a bunch of extra pieces flying around. We can just tuck them right into the storage area. Pop down the handle, and they'll be there any time we need them. Another good use for our fast 10 blocks are going to be stabilizers or jacks on our camper. A lot of times in the campsite, we might have softer ground, and we don't want to put all that weight down on just the small foot pad. Now what we'll be able to do is bring our foot pad down, we want to line it up to where we can get it kind of right in the middle of our levelers there, and then instead of having just that small footprint that's actually going to be pushing down, we're going to have a much larger area to dissipate that weight out over a wider area, so we won't have that sinking effect, especially when people get in there, kind of moving side to side or back and forth, it can kind of work those down further and further. These blocks will give us a great solution for that, and still staying with a nice, compact, portable design. That's going to complete today's look at the camco fast 10 RV leveling blocks with carrying handle, part number CAM44521 in gray.

Recieved shippment in a timely manner. Leveling blocks work great. Our trailer is about 7500 lbs. Completly satisfide.

After a year, the Camco leveling blocks are still keeping us on the level. Great product. Still completely satisfied

Sufficient for 6 leg hydraulic auto leveling system. Bought for pur 2022 cyclone 4006. Happy with the purchase still 1 year later

Ability to store is great and the carry handle is very convienent. Realized I needed another set after ordering the first. Had the fronts stacked 4 high on our 13’ 6” Solitude during 40+ MPH winds on Superior, was a bit worried they were gonna slide off but they didn’t move. I liked the Grey color because they didn’t stand out at the camp site.

Still working well. My only wish is that they were 10x10 with the size of our coach 13,000+ lbs and the terrain we are on at times. We use them in coordination with out 10x10 Big Foot pads.

been using leveling blocks for a year now and they have held up well. A couple of our campsites has small sharp stones on then where we park and the leveling blocks held up well , they lock together nicely.

Still using leveling blocks, but mostly for under my stabilizers. I now use a leveling chock where I just back on until camper is level chock it and done.

I purchased these because we wanted black. Replaced the more commonly used orange blocks. These blocks have an innovative and very convenient storage handle. What I don’t like is that the interlocking blocks are more difficult than orange blocks to stack and also the plastic seems to be more brittle. The geometry of the interlock design of orange blocks promotes easy stacking.

After a year of use I still love these. They are light, have compact storing, configurable for different applications, still like new. I use them under stabilizer jacks on all surfaces to spread surface area on sand, or keep the pads of the jacks off of the concrete for moisture protection. Would certainly buy again.

These work excellent. Very easy to handle and transport. Very light weight yet strong and durable. I normally use them under my jacks to reduce travel. This also helps to greatly reduce any trailer sway since the jacks move a shorter distance.

This product works well for leveling trailer on parking pads. Combined with a good level mounted on your trailer that will tell you how many to locate under each wheel, this is a great solution. Nice compact storage as well!

These level get blocks work great. Not only for levelling under the tires, but also to use under for jack stabilizers and the tongue jack! And the easy storage capability is awesome. Very pleased with the product.

leveling blocks work as leveling should, no breaks, excellent storage solution with the screw handle which goes flat with the blocks.

With dual wheels on the trailer I was forced to buy another set of these due to unpredictable campsite issues. These are such an improvement to using my old 2x6's to level up my trailer. Yes, I would recommend this product to others.

etrailer service was excellent as usual and the product was exactly as ordered. Used them several times over the summer and had no problems.

Love them. Rarely have to use them, however they work really well.

They work great I use them on every trip. Just have to watch driving on them. They don’t do well with large gravel and a lot of weight. But perfect for landing gear and stabilizers.

Received my Levelers, chocks and wheel stabilizers today, opened them and tried them out. I am very satisfied with these three items, they are 10 times better than home made wood chocks and Levelers and much easier to handle and store.

Decent price and the carrying handle keeps everything together for storage. I am amazed at how quickly etrailer processes orders.

We love these leveling blocks. They do the job and are easy to store. Highly recommend

I like the way the blocks stack together and the handle keeps them from coming loose in transit. What I don't like is that when used in gravel, the rock deforms the grids enough that I can't stack the blocks anymore. Maybe needs to be made out of stronger plastic.

Been thinking about getting plastic blocks for a while. My last trip the wood boards I had been using had bugs on them and they got inside my trailer. With the plastic blocks I can wash them off before placing in the trailer. I actually will be buying one more set very soon.

I wanted to get all those loose boards out of my storage compartment. Bingo! Mission Accomplished. I really like the way the product stacks and is secured by the screw-in handle.

Love the built-in handles to move them around in their neat stack, whether it’s the full set of blocksor partial. Easy to hose clean too!

Quality product. Very happy with these leveling blocks.

Love them under my scissor jacks but I don’t know if I trust them under the hitch jack. Smooth plastic might be slippery.

Haven't had an opportunity to use my product yet so my rating is for etrailer's continuing great service! No drama or delays, I just put in my order and it arrives when I expect it. They even recognize that I'm a returning customer in a follow-up email. There are a lot of good online retailers but etralier is a cut above. Thank you!

Chose etrailer because of more choices and ordering was easy and products received in a timely manner. This was my 1st experience and wnot be the last. Thanks for great product offerings.

  • Do Camco FasTen Leveling RV Blocks Have Weight Capacity
I confirmed with Camco that their FasTen RV Leveling Blocks # CAM44521 do not carry a maximum RV weight rating so they are compatible with virtually any RV or motorhome out there. This set is gray and the part # CAM44512 is yellow.

  • Can Scissor Jacks be Used to Lift an RV 1 Foot Off the Ground
Scissor jacks such as # JSC-30-IND are not meant to lift up vehicle or trailer so I do not recommend them for this application. What I recommend is to use leveling blocks such as # CAM44521 for a 10-pack. You can drive right up onto these blocks though it may be difficult to get it up to a foot tall without using a bunch of them stacked like a pyramid. Another option is to use a bottle jack such as # ALL640405 to lift the vehicle and then use the blocks or jack stands to hold the vehicle....

  • Can an RV Stay Parked on the Tire Grip Traction Plate # 288-07411
The Tire Grip traction plate # 288-07411 was designed to be used at the time of getting stuck so you wouldn't want to keep the RV parked on it. I do have an option that you can stay parked on and can also help with leveling if need be. Take a look at the 10 pack of leveling blocks # CAM44521. Several of these on the ground will provide a solid platform and they can be stacked to help with leveling. I have included a link to a video review for you.

  • Comparing Ultra Fab and Camco RV Leveling Blocks
I would say that quality wise the Camco kit part # CAM44521 is the same as the Ultra Fab kit part # UF48-979052. Based on price alone I would go with the Camco if it were me. Unless you really like the color blue... You can also use them on your trailer's jack as well. I attached a review video for you to check out too.

  • Supporting the Sides of an Aspen Popup Camper After Lifting it for More Ground Clearance
What I recommend is to use leveling blocks such as # CAM44521 to compensate for the increased height of the camper. This set of blocks has 10 blocks and each is 17 inches long and 8-1/2 inches wide. Each block is 1-1/2 inches thick. I have included a link to a video review of these blocks for you. We also have kits for raising the height of the trailer. You may be able to use an over/under conversion kit if: The trailer leaf spring stack is currently mounted under the axles The trailer...
