Get a little extra security when you are towing with Curt's double-lock, gooseneck hitch. Chrome-plated ball locks in place with two pins while towing and flips over for storage inside the hitch when its job is done. Installation kit included.

The Curt Double Lock underbed gooseneck trailer hitch provides a sturdy, secure connection for towing your gooseneck trailer and also allows for a clean, unobtrusive look for your truck bed when you aren't towing. To tow, simply pull the included handle out to unlock the hitch. Then insert the chrome-plated hitch ball into the ball hole. You may need to rotate the ball to line it up with the dual locking pins. When the ball drops into place, rotate the handle counterclockwise until the locking pins snap into position. Because there are 2 locking pins instead of 1, you get extra security for your towing setup.
Get full bed access when you're not towing. Just remove the ball, flip it upside down, drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch, and use the handle to lock the ball in place. A rubber cover is included with the Double Lock. When the ball is stowed upside down in the hitch, place this cover over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime and create a clean look for your vehicle.

I like the hitch but when ai am pulling my trailers, and I am moving them around at low speeds it seems that there is a good amount of movement in the hitch and the feel in the truck. I’m not sure what that is but I have used trucks that didn’t have that feel in them but mine definitely does. We followed all directions and torqued all bolts to the required amount. Maybe someone can shed some light on what that maybe.

The kit arrived in two days. The quality is very good. All the parts fit as described. We were able to install it in a few hours without a lift. We plan on pulling a 14,000 # trailer to move farm equipment. This trailer will replace an old 12,000# pintle hitch trailer. I would definitely recommend this kit to others.
Love the hitch will be buying another one for my new truck. I haul this 32ft 12k lb horse trailer with 6 full size horses 4-5times a week. I’ve also hauled my flatbed with over 25klbs on it. It’s raited for 30k but I’m convinced it’ll take way more then that

I am giving this product 3 stars, not because the product was bad, but because the packaging was terrible. I personally love the hitch and rate it 5 stars, but packing 1 star. I received mine all torn open, bag of bolts torn open and parts spilled all over. Luckily, none of my hardware was lost and I had all of the pieces. Install was very easy and the hitch works great.
Wasn't to bad to put in. Directions were a little tough. I watched one of the videos on there site and that was extremely helpful. Took me about 4 hours, but I didn't use any air tools or a truck hoist. Over all I'm extremely happy with the product so far
Easily installed when you raised the bed off the frame, easy off and on when going camping, light weight and I can still use my truck for hauling stuff in the bed

Very nice product, everything fit my F250SD as stated. Shipping box came broken open and taped up and Instructions are a little confusing but installation is easy. I would purchase another one if needed.

Received the hitch assembly yesterday and the quality and workmanship is excellent. Very high quality nuts, bolts, hardware etc. Chrome parts are classy as heck!
The packaging system needs some work though. Putting the center assembly and install kit in the same box makes the whole thing too heavy and by the time it got to the ranch the cardboard box was pretty bad. One of the hardware bags had fallen out and luckily was delivered with the rest. Center section box was completely destroyed and control rod was hanging out the side of the big box. I did an inventory and was amazed everything was was there as there were nuts and bolts running around loose in a box full of holes. Need to double bag the hardware and tape to the inside of the box.
Really like the installation videos on the website and will use those as an installation guide.

The hitch has worked out well. I particularly like the twist lock ball release system. Seems to work much better than the ball release on the B&W on my other truck, even when the muddy roads get everything dirty. Installation instructions are not great, video was very helpful. It would help a lot if the instructions were more clear regarding differences in truck model years.
Received package in good shape, quickly. Hitch was a little complicated to put in but once in looks very nice. I would recommend this to anyone needing a gooseneck hitch at a good price.
When we ordered the hitch we paid extra for quick ship and received the hitch on time, as we were in a pinch to get it installed and operational. My son and I installed it without any complication. Instructions were surprisingly easy to follow. Hitch showed up intact, well packaged and with all related hardware and in great condition. etrailer offered the best price we could find, were very friendly, informative and helpful. The women we dealt with went above and beyond any other vendor we use to make sure we had the right parts, shipped the right way and at the right time! Excellent customer service, will always check with them first when ordering anything we need in the future.

Works great easy install
Product installed on my 2000 F250 fairly easy, having access to a lift was a huge help. Only issue i had was the box was torn and some bolts were missing. etrailer shipped replacements out the following day.

Working well after a years of use. Pull a stock trailer with cows in it and have no issues with this product.
Heavy Duty hitch. Easy Installation. Didn't need to install the exhaust spacers there was plenty of clearance even with the 5" exhaust I have on it. Fast shipping, ad good customer service, very pleasant to deal with. Thank You!

Very pleased with the hitch. Works great for what I need it for. Called to verify fitment, spoke with Roger who was very helpful and provided an answer to every of my questions. 5 stars.
I received the package last night. One of the 2 boxes was damaged. The lack of packaging materials caused holes in the box and hardware packaging. Bolts and nuts were loose in the box with holes. I have not determined yet if all part and hardware are intact. I'll be installing this kit later today, and will give a updat.
other than it was a little confusing during installation direction of plate and angles could have been either marked or better picture/description ,its a great Hitch will continue to recommend to friends.

It works great, my only complaint is the cover used when ball is stowed away doesnt secure very well and have lost, should extend a little farther into opening
The product fits well. I didn't care for the packaging, as it came to my place with the box completely wrapped in packing tape to keep the contents from falling out. The box was destroyed. My hardware for the installation was missing one bolt and the bag was ripped open with the hardware floating around in a ripped up box. I wish the instructions were more clear for a gas trucks, not just diesel. I figured it out and installed it in about 4-5hrs in my driveway.

The included instructions are not as thorough as they may could be. But thanks to etrailer for the included video that had great information not included in the instructions. I will be pulling the occasional cattle trailer and installing this myself gives me the confidence needed that is important to me. Thanks etrailer!

After a year in the F250 I have pulled loads that were a lot heavier than I thought I would, The hitch has pulled it off without a hitch, Thanks etrailer
Was delivered a day earlier than expected. Was able to install in about 3 hours with help of YouTube video from etrailer. Written instructions were not easy to follow but got it done and it looks great.
Ordering from etrailer was super easy and was well worth it. I will order from here for any of my towing needs.
Great product nice when it’s installed but installation is not fun the instructions are useless.
Trick I learned is to mount everything up then from the bottom eyeball center from the small pilot hole the instructions told you to drill it will be in the wrong place so use caution.
Bad is that my tailpipe vibrates on the spring loaded hooks had to modify.
Good luck to whoever try’s to install one without a lift.
Solid product. Good fit and finish. Works well. Easy to turn ball. The added rubber cover is great too. It locks into place to keep things from falling into the ball area when the ball is stored. Instructions are terrible though! I'm very handy and I had a very difficult time understanding the instructions. They were very unclear. Even the videos I watched made things look and sound much easier than they were. Overall the install is much more difficult with a diesel because the DEF tank is in the way. Further the video made it sound like the main part of the hitch had to be orientated a specific way, but on my truck it had to be turned 180 degrees for it to fit. Took me a while to figure out that was ok. In fact, it doesn't matter. It goes in whichever way it fits on your vehicle. If I would have known that up front it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
Great product. Fit my vehicle without modifications. Easy to install. Converted my fifth wheel travel trailer to goose neck hitch, so I don't have to remove a heavy fifth wheel hitch every time I want to haul something. Just pull the lever and turn the ball over giving me full use of the truck bed. Awesome
I have a 2002 F250 Super Duty and I only wish I had bought this sooner. The product is solid and exceeded my expectations. I was able to install without removing the Bed. It is very stable, super easy to use and put away (Turn Ball down). You do need to watch the Ball if it is turned down and you load the truck bed Heavy, the ball may tap the differential. A simple solution is to put the ball in the cab in these situations.
I recommend this hitch and will purchase another one when I buy a new truck.

I wanted to ask if you could explain in more detail what the movement is like? Are you hearing any chucking or banging? How old is the gooseneck coupler that you are using?
