Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Taylor Made Marine Gas Strut for boat hatches. This is going to replace one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut from your boat's hatch lid or compartment door. It extends to ease the lifting of your hatch lid and then it's going to compress to gently close your hatch without slamming. This is a 10 millimeter ball and socket installation, so this is going to be a very easy installation. Just simply attach to the ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. This is constructed of heat treated steel, so it is durable and it features a corrosion resistant coating that's going to make a grate for salt water environments.
Now pulling out my tape measure here, let me just give you the extended length. Looks like we are sitting right at 10 and a half inches on that extended length, and this has a compression force of 30 pounds, as you can see indicated there. And you are going to get one strut. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
