This heavy-duty underbed gooseneck hitch is rated for a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 7,500 lbs. The double-lock system uses two pins instead of one to hold the ball firmly in place, giving you extra security when pulling big livestock, equipment, or RV trailers. The chrome-plated 2-5/16" ball drops into the hitch for a tight, secure fit that won’t move under load.
When the trailer’s unhooked, remove the hitch ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the hole for storage. The below-bed setup leaves the truck bed clear so you can haul cargo without anything in the way. A rubber cover keeps grime out of the ball hole, while a chrome ring gives the opening a clean look when the ball is stowed.
The included center locator makes drilling simple and accurate—no measuring or guesswork needed. Just drill a 4" hole where the locator marks and stop when orange shavings appear. The custom mounting kit bolts on without welding or removing the bed, and the comfort-grip handle can be installed on either side of the bed for quick locking and release.
This system can adapt to different towing setups with optional Curt accessories. Add the adapter plate (C16220) for fifth-wheel towing or use the offset hitch ball (C602) to create extra space between your truck cab and trailer.

Overall pretty easy to assemble. The instructions are garbage. Hardest part is tightening up the bolts, basically 1 click at a time with a ratchet on a few bolts. The quality of the hitch seems good.
Only the hith showed up. No installation kit.

Great hitch and easy to use. I did have to lift up the bed a little bit to install it. Took me about 5 hours because of that but otherwise it is a great hitch. The rings for the safety chains stay on the bed and the ball flips over and stows away completely.
I installed this hitch on my 2021 Silverado 2500HD. When first looking under the truck it appeared the exhaust would have to be modified to make the unit fit. The fact is this unit went in without any modifications at all…even all the factory drilled holes lined up perfectly. I recommend this hitch to anyone that has a stock exhaust system.
Seems heavy duty but the brackets hit the u-bolts and spring top plates. Curt told me I must of installed them wrong. I don't think so
Excellent fit, install was about 3 hrs. Easy to follow instructions and customer service was a pleasure to deal with. Happy with my choice and would recommend this product.
I will say on a 6.5 bed with dual exhaust on my diesel is was snug fitting under the truck to bolt it together, but that’s a me problem not a curt problem. Fit and functionality was perfect no complaints at all.

Your installation instructions are lacking details weakest part of the product. Shipping could use work too box was destroyed and bolts were missing from the open package

Not as handy as a flip up ball but plenty stout. A very good, strong setup for the money. I was able to install w/o taking off the bed which is a big plus
Install is a little bit of a pain if you plan to DYI without any kind of lift. Has worked great pulling a 30ft 5th wheel.
It didn't slide in as easily as in the video, but I was also working on the ground in a very cramped garage instead of from a lift. Watch the videos on here and it's no issue. The only thing I almost gave up on was the little rubber gasket around the cut. Incredibly difficult to get on but once it makes it all look finished.
One of the 2 black carrier spacers is gone #60645-cbs. They were loose in the box with the rails and side plates. One fell out of the torn box. Don't know why those spacers were not put in the plastic bag of hardware. So now can not mount the hitch. Called your office and ordered , But who knows how long that will take. Not very happy with your company.
I have had a few different GN hitches over the years and this model is top notch. The installation was straight forward and the drill guide made the location of where to drill effortless. If I had to pick a place where improvement could occur, it would be the resistance of the safety chain loop springs. They ensure rattles don't occur, but getting the chain loop inside can be difficult at times. Overall the construction is very robust. The nice touches such as the rubber cap and the price point make this a great option. I would repeat the purchase.
purchase arrived on time in two packages. No missing pieces or hardware. instructions were good. installed it myself. It was easier to install by removing the truck bed as i did not have a lift. used hitch to tow after installing and no issues.
Nice clean look. Most importantly didn't have to lower exhaust. centering the hitch in the bed was easy because of the template provided. Although install did take longer than what was noted, it was fairly simple. Would definitely purchase again.

Great hitch, working great. Many, many miles on it dragging horses all over the Midwest. Only thing I did was coat locking pins and ball with anti-seize.
