Will Curt Front Hitch C22NR Fit The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation Model?

Updated 03/16/2026 | Published 03/09/2026

Question:

Will the C22NR fit the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation 5.3? I have seen conflicting answers about the fit for Elevation Packages.

Hey Markus, thanks for reaching out. I double checked with Curt and sadly the # C22NR front hitch will not fit the Elevation model of the 2025 GMC 1500. At this time there is no front hitch for that model.

I did see that one conflicting answer you referred to, and we will work on getting that edited. Sorry for any confusion.

What were you wanting to use the hitch for? Let me know and we might have a solution.

Thank you for the response.. I currently have a Meyer HomePlow that I used on my 2017 Sierra 1500 Elevation, so I was hoping to find a new front hitch for the 2025.

@Markus Ah I gotcha. Yea unfortunately there is no front hitch for that vehicle so its really not a good candidate for a plow.

@JesseM C22NR fit my 2024 GMC Sierra AT4. I did have to do some finaggling but I ALSO have a Meyer Home Plow on it, that was the reason I wanted the front Hitch. If I recal, I removeds some support brackets and bent or ground some minor pcs of a Pump that is used for recuirulation of coolaant? I have hte 3.0 Diesel, but its on for 2-1/2 yrs now and LOVE it, ust it for bike rack when towing our camper too

@Mike Hey Mike, thanks for sharing. Curt actually calls out the AT4 model as an exclusion for the # C22NR front hitch so its great to know there is in fact a way to make it work. That's super helpful feedback.

I have a 2025 chevrolet trail boss i added the front receiver hitch to my truck i had to drill 2 holes the plate had but not the truck i used a angle drill and new bit it was not to bad to do . Getting the hitch between the frame rails was not easy it fits very tight i used a jack and a hammer to get it to fit once in place and holes drilled it works perfectly and i used my snow plow all winter so far with zero issues.

@GlennM Nice! Glad to hear the front hitch it working out. This winter was pretty rough so it sounds like the hitch and your plow were up to the task. Thanks for sharing!
