It's stressful keeping track of what's behind your work van on the road or backing out of a crowded loading dock. This digital rear view mirror restores that view and constantly records video, so if anything happens, you've got proof.
It's nerve-wracking when you can't see what's behind you while you're working. With this digital rear view mirror, a tap on the touchscreen switches your normal mirror to a high-definition camera feed, so you can see past boxes, passengers, and tools in the cargo area. And unlike digital mirrors that only use a small section of the glass, this gives you a full-width digital display for a complete view.
Commercial vehicles see a lot in a day on the job. That's why the front and rear cameras on the mirror are always recording, giving you video evidence for insurance claims, driver training, or liability protection. The built-in DVR captures both angles at once (it comes with a 32 GB micro SD card), so you're covered whether something happens ahead of you or behind you.
Accidents don't just happen when you're driving. Even in a parking lot, stray carts and careless drivers can do damage. And sometimes no one leaves a note. If someone bumps your parked vehicle or something unexpected happens, the smart sensor on this mirror automatically saves video footage of the moment. You don't have to do a thing. This system is always watching out for you, even when you're not around to see it.
Early mornings, late nights, and dim garages are part of the job. The rear camera includes a Night Sight feature you can turn on for low-light conditions, so you always get a crisp, detailed image. You can switch between Standard for normal use, Enhanced for crisper picture and better color, or Evening Light modes for conditions at sunset and dusk.
This system is designed for vans, box trucks, RVs, and specialty vehicles. The installation will require replacing your factory mirror, attaching the rear camera, and wiring it through your vehicle. If you're not comfortable with this process, a professional installation is recommended.

I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking our first look at Brand Motion's line of digital rear view mirrors. Now what's really nice about this is it's gonna have a lot of capabilities to it. So if you're like us, you have this truck out here and it doesn't have a backup camera and you wish your truck did or your vehicle did, we are gonna give a camera that's gonna give you that capability so you can see a little bit better when you are trying to back up somewhere. Now, if you like the backup camera but you wish it was on full time, we're gonna get this monitor that's gonna replace your rear view mirror currently. And what's nice about this is this is gonna be for anyone who has maybe a lot of people in the back who are moving around, you got some luggage, some gear in the back, or a tonneau cover that's constantly blocking what you can see behind you.
You won't have to worry about this 'cause you'll be able to see out of this using that camera. This is also going to have a dash cam built into it. And with that dash cam, it's gonna be nice because this is gonna be running all the time for the back and front. So if anything we inchesre to happen to your vehicle, even if you're not there to see it, it's gonna be recorded on that camera. But those are just a couple of the instances of why this can help you out.
We'd love to hear your story, what led you here in either a comment or review. But of course if you guys have any other questions, let us know here at etrailer. And again, I'm Matt and thanks for watching.
