I love the rack, however, I agree with other reviewers about the front area where the hardtop rests. I have scratches on the hardtop where it it hits the rack, so now I place a microfiber towel down before I move the hardtop into the rack. Also, the cushioned tape could be better, I may place some left-over stand-up paddleboard deck tape so that the doors don't slide around or get damaged.
Haven't had my storage system long, but I just put it together (alone). Incredibly easy to assemble. Fits my top like a glove. Grateful to finally have my top off the ground, not to mention the ease it provides in removing and moving around (I'm 5'5" & 135lbs). While the weight itsnt an issue with a friend helping, getting a good grip on the edges of the top was a bit tough on my hands. This solves that. More importantly, I'm impressed with the customer service and follow up I received from these guys. I'd definitely purchase from them again.
Cart is great. But not perfect. Attaching the cart to bottom lip of the hard top was difficult. It didn't fit and could only get one side in. The cart clips are metal, so trying to force the second clip under the hard top. We scratched the paint.
But once we got hard top off, tighten down the strap more. It glides effortlessly to where you store it.
