Replace the 7-way, RV-style trailer connector on your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 with this T-One harness. ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system. Brake controller adapter attaches to included body harness and lets you easily plug in your electric brake controller.

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove some bumper fascia, interior paneling, vent covers, and the tail light assemblies to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the body harness up to your car battery and connect the wires per the included instructions.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because your vehicle runs on a multiplex wiring system, the wiring needs to be converted to be compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.
This adapter hardwires to the body harness that is included in this kit. Just connect the black wire from the brake controller adapter to your car battery, and connect the white wire to a suitable ground. The remaining wires can then be easily spliced into the body harness with the included butt connectors.
This adapter is designed to plug directly into your electric brake controller. Because the harness does not hardwire to your controller, installation is not permanent. You can unplug and remove your brake controller at any time and securely stow it away.

I used this wiring harness on my 2014 Sprinter. The instructions for this product was spot on, and i very much liked how it was plug and play, no wire splicing. The harness plugged right into the factory harness just like it came from the factory. It did take a little bit on my part fishing the wires thru the cavity wall supports and keeping it neat and organized, but overall 5 stars. Sorry, i forgot to take pics.

The harness served it's purpose. The connectors weren't the greatest. When we'd push the connector on, the pins would push back and it would not make good contact. So we had to fix that. But it served it's purpose. Thank you!
Much less expensive than Mercedes part, which didn’t work and had no instructions. Easy but tedious installation. Still working fine though I prefer to leave the end connector inside the van except when in use to avoid corrosion.
Best sprinter wiring kit. Do yourself a favor and save time and hassle with this kit. Also seems much better at blocking corrosion to sensitive areas (than diy) as you don't need to splice anything outside of the vehicle.
Service is great. However, I think I should be able to buy an additional wiring harness to be able to move the controller between two vehicles.
