Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Jeep Wrangler with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side tail light. You will have to remove the tail light assembly to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Knocking one star because it was a pain to get into the etrailer mount that I bought with this harness. See picture. Not sure if it was the mount or the harness being thicker. Wound up chewing the crap out of it as I pushed and struggled to get it through the hole. Not happy with it being all chewed up.
The connection to the Jeep tail light (driver side) was super easy and best install in that regard I’ve ever done.
im always shocked how fast i get my things from etrailer. got it in 2 days.. incredible. the parts are alst top of the line.

Fit perfect
Very simple plug connection. Just disconnect jeeps left tail light plug. Install this plug between factory plugs. Done. Routed wires along framerail in order to hide as best as possible.

Upon arrival i installed this kit in only a few minutes and was on my way from Pennsylvania to Florida to pick up my boat and tow it back. This wiring kit functions flawlessly just like it was an original piece of my Jeep. If your looking for the right part to add trailer wiring to your Jeep JK buy this kit and you wont be disappointed!
It doesn't dobwhatvitsvsupposed to. None of the lights work right. Some are on while the left blinker on the car make the right blinker on the trailer flash. None of the running lights worked.

I am sorry to hear about the issues with this harness. Have you always experienced them, or is this something new that has come up since having the harness?
was easy to install and works fine as usual etrailer was great to work with

This has worked great with our towed vehicle. Combining this wiring harness with our choice of tow bar has worked out great. We have put approximately 16,000 miles on our rig without any issues. Thank you!
Worked perfectly as a 4 pin. I have been chasing a possible ground (loop?)issue when used as part of a 7 pin, and think that this could potentially (ha!) be related to the lack of a local ground at this location. This has nothing to do with the product... more with the vehicle wiring design. I've provided a local ground to the frame and will take the camper out next week to see if it repeats.

Went very well only took me about 25 minutes to install the hitch and the lights. I did not need to remove the bumper and in order to install
The Hopkins wiring harness I purchased along with my hitch could not have been any easier to install. I’m totally satisfied with it and would recommend this item to anyone who,like me doesn’t like to be splicing into factory wiring on my vehicles. In my opinion cutting into wiring should be avoided whenever another option is available.
This company have been nothing but understanding and professional. I ordered my parts for my new RV and they came through without a hitch. I liked that I could track the package along the way. Keep up the good work y’all

This product was fabulous. It could not have been easier. I can't believe that it was this easy to get my jeep wired to pull my trailer with lights.
This was a plug and play. Very good quality. The wiring has heat tape around the wires to prevent cutting and heat from the exhaust. With only a screw driver it was installed in about 5 minutes. No splicing.
Definitely happy that I was able to buy a plug in harness. Search lots of local stores but couldn't find any then Google showed me a link for the site. Shipping was quick, and pleased with the results.

Plug and play, worked flawlessly on my ‘07 JK for pulling the utility/motorcycle trailer
I tried a set of your submersible LEDs they were ruined in less than a year. I bought the other ones put them up out of the water level they were great.
Easiest harness install ever, no ground wire or anything to run, 2 screws and 2 connectors then done!
It's a great product and extremely easy to install. I wasnfone in 5 minutes. Would recommend it to everyone

I ordered these items and I no time at all they arrived at my front door! I was able to track the items, time, place, arrival and departures. As far as the quality of the equipment, extremely well made and top notch functionality. Some of the parts were heavy, but well packaged for safety. I highly recommend this company.
Great wire harness. I’m an aircraft technician, I don’t get this kind of ease and quality in aviation lol. A person (man or woman) has plenty of time to drink a beer and still install the wire harness in under 30 minutes.
