Question:

I have 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Factory Tow package 4 Pole. I see video for installing 4-way / 4 pole trailer wire kit. Item # HM42635 Do you offer a 5-way / 5 pole trailer connection kit ? Have boat trailer, 5-way / 5 pole, for surge brake system. Would pull 4 pole and replace with 5 pole flat. I have a Hopkins 4 flat to 5 Flat adapter #47515 Curious.. Thanks.

We do not carry a 5-pole wiring harness that is vehicle specific. For your 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, you can install the 4-way # HM42635 and then splice in the vehicle side 5-way flat # HM47900 using butt connectors like # DW05744-5 to give you the 5 way. This will give you the connection without the adapter # 47515 needed each time as a 5-way will still work with a 4-way connection without issue and be a better connection for your boat trailer's 5-way.

Your other option is to use the # HM42190 and then use the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Way, 5-Way or 4-Way # HM47570 which will be a more sturdy adapter. This is the route I personally would go.
