Troubleshooting Hopkins Tow Wiring on 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Cause Motorhome Light Malfunction

Question:
I installed the Hopkins plug in towed vehicle light system for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. When plugged into our 2022 Fleetwood Flair motorhome all the lights work when tested individually. We are having a problem when we turn the left turn indicator on while the running lights are on. When we perform this exercise the lights on the rear of our motorhome get wonky. The overhead clearance lights dim, and the left back up light illuminates dimly. Do you have any suggestions on where to begin looking for the issue? I verified the umbilical cord between the motorhome and Jeep is wired correctly. Thank you!

The only 2 things I can think of as to why the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56200 on your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited might be causing this to happen is if there is some corrosion and/or debris in between the tees you made behind your tail lights, or if for some reason you need to swap the order in which the tees are connected for this wring kit and the Hopkins Trailer Wiring Kit # HM42635 you also have installed.
We've found that 2 of these tee-type wiring kits can be used at the same time, but sometimes the order matters.
If neither of these works it's worth checking your motorhome lights without the Jeep connected. If you're still having issues please let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further.
