Wiring for trailer lights doesn’t have to mean cutting into your vehicle’s factory wiring. The kit you purchased would work if you were pulling a trailer with your RAV4, but wont work for towing the RAV4 behind a motorhome. Although we dont offer a plug and play flat towing harness for the 2004 RAV4, Id recommend a diode kit like # RM-152-98146-7. Ill link to a video showing a typical installation.
