We recently ran into a problem in that the harness bought would only work on a 6 cylinder Rava4.Will harness work on 4 cylinder Rav4?

Hopkins trailer wiring harness # 33465 fits all models of the 2001 to 2005 Toyota RAV4. That would include 4 and 6 cylinder models. You could also use # 118389 or # C55307. They all install the same way and have the same functions. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation.
