Ive checked Curts website for compatible model, but 2001 RAV4 wasnt on their list. Will it realy fit on this car?

Yes, the Curt Circuit Protected Converter, # C56175, will fit your 2001 Toyota RAV4. There are two reasons why you do not see this harness in Curts fit guide. First, Curt offers a custom T-connector wiring harness, part # C55307, for your vehicle so Curt will not list a splice-in harness. Before Curt made the T-connector harness, the harness you referenced was the recommended wiring harness. Second, this harness can be used on most vehicles that have separate, rather than combined, tail light wiring making it somewhat universal.
Because your RAV4 has a separate wiring system, you can use this splice-in harness or the custom T-connector harness. I recommend going with the T-connector harness because it does not require any cutting or splicing to install.
