Troubleshooting Happijac Camper Jacks Making Clicking Noise and Not Raising or Lowering

Question:
I have a set of happijac 4150 camper jacks that are clicking and will not raise or lower. I am not sure if the gears are stripped or if the coupler going from the head to the screw is shot. Do you sell the coupler as well? And I saw something I think about new replacements being metal as opposed to plastic couplers. Is this accurate?

The clicking you described hearing on your Happijack 4150 System along with the fact that they aren't raising or lowering the camper might actually be the result of a weak power source. I first recommend simply checking to make sure that the battery being used is fully charged and that all your wiring is still secure. Check for any pinched or exposed areas of wire that need to be replaced and verify that your ground is securely attached to a clean bare metal surface.
If everything looks good there then there very well may be damage to the internal rod or nut. This isn't something that is available as a replacement part so if this is the case you're only option would be to replace the jacks.
We do not have any electric truck camper jack systems available but we do have the manual Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ74 that work very well. These allow for a nice portable design that doesn't need to be permanently installed and the included winches let you easily raise and lower the jacks. They have a lift range of 17 to 67 inches and a combined weight capacity of 3,000 pounds.
I have included a short video review that you can check out.
