Features to know about

Stable Handling on Every Mile: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These custom rear tie-downs mount directly to the truck’s frame—the strongest point on the vehicle—so your camper rides steady without shifting or swaying. By distributing the weight evenly and keeping the center of gravity low, they prevent the top-heavy feel that can make long drives stressful. Whether you’re heading across town or across the country, the camper stays locked in place and your truck handles just like it should.

Clean Look When Not in Use: Removable Arms

When the trip is over, you can pull the tie-down arms out of their brackets so they’re almost invisible under the truck. The frame-mounted design sits up close and out of sight, keeping your truck looking clean. There’s no bulky hardware hanging down or sticking out when you’re not hauling a camper.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Mounts

Each tie-down bolts onto pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no cutting or modification needed. The tight fit maintains ground clearance and keeps everything tucked in close. The setup includes two rear tie-downs and installation hardware for a straightforward bolt-on job you can handle with basic tools.

Built Tough for the Long Haul: Powder-Coated Steel

Made of black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are built to resist corrosion and hold up through years of weather exposure. The heavy-duty construction gives you confidence on rough roads and in harsh conditions, mile after mile.

Secure Connection Made Simple: Adjustable Anchor Points

Each arm extends from the truck body to clear sidewalls and fenders, with two pin holes on the shank so you can fine-tune the reach. The attachment plate also has two anchor holes to help you get the best angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately). This makes it easy to dial in a snug, balanced connection every time you load up your camper.

Video Transcript for TorkLift Frame Mount Rear Tie Downs Comprehensive Review

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.

There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.

Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

Great product, installed last night! Only suggestion I would have is info on the items page regarding install fitment. I was going back and forth in which model to get because unsure what hitch type I had. All my questions were answered once I opened the manual that came with the product and saw the picture! Would suggest including those pictures of the installed mount on the website.

First, Andy was great to work with and very helpful.
I bought and installed the frame mounted Torklift camper mounts on my 2021 GMC 2500HD Sierra Denali and I’m very pleased with them, they’re stout. As long as you’re mechanically inclined and can follow instructions you should be able to install them yourself without assistance.

Install looks great, Robert! Do you already have your camper ready to go for an adventure?

These tiedowns were exactly as advertised and fit my 2023 f350 4wd crew cab perfectly using preexisting holes and mounts. They even came with wire feeders to feed the bolts through the holes on the frame. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. Can adjust the width of tie down and can also drill new holes to customize the width. I highly recommend these.

These tie downs are sill working as advertised. I have travelled over 20,000 mi with them in various conditions with about 10 of that time in dirt roads or 4wd roads. Nothing too crazy, but with my camper and these tied downs I am confident that the camper will remain attached and be secure. It hardly moves around at all. They are worth the money and I can still remember how easily they installedvery welll thought out design and installation!

I have a 2024 ram 3500 dually stock max tow package.
I figured I’d put pictures up that are of top quality and lighting as most instructions on trailer a vague and generic.
This product fit perfectly and it went on in 15 mins for both sides. ( no rusty bolts to mess with though)
Attached are photos of before and after install and bolt placement.

Product was refurbished but sold as new.
Once again etrailer.com prefer to sponsor a YouTube channel the literally insult viewers (BTBRV) than be honest and sell new parts (as advertised)
by:
great fit, works great, strong parts, works perfect! etrailer was excellent in making sure I received the correct parts. I highly recommend etrailer, if in doubt, call them, don't try and wing it, they will set you up with the correct parts! I will use etrailer again!
by:
Torklift makes a quality product. This is easy to install. Just watch the etrailer video.

As soon as I ordered it e trailer people went right to work and got this order moving. Awesome

Product is working great , what is fantastic is the engineering for the fit to the vehicle and the tools they give you to fish and hold bolts where they need to be during installation. Great thought process for instruction for installation.

For the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 6 1/2 foot bed no running boards, Driver’s side bracket does not lineup. It is off by an eighth of an inch or so. Passenger side is fine.

Potentially my truck bed is not the same size or there was an issue with the piece I received. Other than that bolted together very easy to the frame.
by:
Would be 5-star if packaged properly to protect the paint from getting beat up in transport. The product itself is great and fits perfectly. Easy to install.
by:
I have been very happy with these tie-downs. They are VERY easy to install, require no drilling or modification to the hitch and hide away nicely when the inserts are removed. ~9,000 miles with our camper so far and no issues. These are on a 23 F250 PowerStroke short bed.

Yay! Thats what we want to hear! Where all did you get to go in those 9,000 miles?

by:
My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour.
He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.

Awesome product! I purchased TorkLift camper tiedowns (both front and rear) for my 2015 Ford F-350. Installation instructions were easy to follow (pictures were a big help) and the "no drill" made it simple. Tiedowns were extremely solid as the fronts bolted to the leaf spring bracket and the rear to the factory hitch. I highly recommend this product.
by:
The best system one can buy for worry free travel. Etrailer communication has been superb.
by:
I installed the tie downs last night. I had help from my wife, they were reasonably easy to install. Everything went on just fine. No drilling or any difficulty with fit. My only difficulty was I got two bolts that had a different thread pitch than the nuts. No problem, went to the local hardware store and got what I needed. All good! I think the tie downs are made very strong. I really like them. Thanks E-trailer! Great product and great customer service. When in need of ..... I will purchase from E-Trailer again. Sincerely David C. Pennsylvania
by:
I bought this when my previous belly bar and rear tie-down bent badly when our truck slid off the road into a steep ditch and our camper nearly tipped sideways off our truck. This product is a bit better then my old set up, but I expected something much better for this very high price. It wasn't too tough to install, despite the poorly written instructions. Also, the kit did not include a bolt fisher for the 7/16 bolt. The bolt fisher supplied was for a 1/2 inch bolt. Fortunately I had the correct bolt fisher from a previous project. I am also disappointed that the tie down hole has a slot cut in it which seems would significantly weaken it. I am not optimistic that the tie-down point will not bend or break if we have a similar significant side load such as when we slid into the ditch. I will probably weld the slot in the tie-down point shut to strengthen it.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.

by:
The package arrived very quickly and intact. I have a 2020 Ford F250 SD Lariat short bed with a factory hitch. The tie-downs were really easy to install although the hitch adapter plate (see attached photo) which is supposed to attach to the end of the tie-down would not fit inside the tubing on my factory installed hitch so I installed without it and it is tight and snug

Thank you for your photo. Torklift does recommend to use the hitch adapter for the 2020 Ford F-250. The adapter does need to be turn horizontally to fit inside the hitch not vertically.

by:
They installed pretty easy. However the business end twists in the receiver when put under tension. I’m disappointed that it’s not a tight fit especially for what they cost.
by:
I received my forklift truck mounts and installed the front mounts. Not too challenging but if you watch the video of the install it makes it a little easier. When I went to install the rear mounts I discovered they weren’t the correct ones. I contacted Ryan at E-Trailer and she sent out the correct ones immediately. I received them in a couple days, installed them and all is well. Thank you for the quick service Ryan!

Somehow I plugged in all my vehicle info and the website lead me to the wrong part. I explained my situation to Paul and handled the return/new order perfectly...and within an hour I was notified that the correct part had shipped..it arrived in two days!
I have been a customer for 10 years and everything I have ordered has been a quality item, and in this case the customer service was off the charts good.

Bought these tie-downs a year ago and they have proven to be easy to use, very sturdy, and hold my Palomino to the truck bed tightly.

by:
Forklift tie downs are manufactured to exact fit to existing manufactured frame rail holes. They lined up perfectly and after 6000 miles with camper on board have stayed secure. The only downside, (this is relative to when and ware you use you camper) they will corrode when driving through snow covered roads that have been treated with sand and/or salt. I use an oil based product to protect them corroding.
by:
The TorkLift camper tie downs you delivered were easy to instal and certainly served the application intended. The best part of the purchase was the way that you followed up to make sure that I had received the order and that they fit as they were supposed too. And now a year later you have contacted me again, to ensure that I am pleased with my purchase. GREAT product, and Awesome Service.

Much appreciated

Steve Z at etrailer was sharp and very knowledgeable on the companies product. Steve was able to work with me on getting the proper camper tie downs for my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 (Item #TLD3107). He told me when they would be arriving and they actually arrived earlier than expected. Great product, install was pretty easy, I had them installed within an hour. This is a very high quality product with heavy duty construction. They provide a secure attachment for tie downs to the truck camper. The instructions provided are adequate, but not great. I Don't normally give recommendations or endorse products, but these I am truly impressed with. Thank you so much Steve and etrailer.
by:
Tommy C recommended the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs. The Instructions are great and very easy to follow. They supply some cool wire helpers to hold bolts in the frame for you. All went very smoothly and a very secure. I love how solid the Camper feels on the truck.
by:
I bought these for my 2020 Silverado 2500HD, and the fit was excellent. The instructions imply that the rear exhaust hanger may need to be repositioned for installation, I did not find this to be the case. I advise any users to read and understand the instructions prior to installation, but with that in mind, installation only took a little over an hour and a half. The fit was great and the inserts fit closely, but without contacting the body panels. Very covert! A piece missed in the instructions is that you will need to remove the spare tire safety cable clipping bracket on the drivers side permanently. There is a location on the tie down bracket to clip the cable back to the truck.

  • Recommended Camper Tie-Downs For A 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab
The manufacturer, C.R. Brophy, only tested the Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie Downs # TDSF on full-sized American made trucks so we do not have a confirmation that they will work. There is also the stipulation that they'll only work with a truck bed camper with a total length up to 8', so I don't believe these would be the best option for your Tundra. Instead I recommend the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLT2301 with the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted...

To add a set of Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement to your 2005 Toyota Tundra 4WD, you will want item # TTORTUN4. This system is custom fit and has a 6,000 lbs capacity. This are our lightest capacity Timbrens for your truck and are still overkill for a 1,200 lbs camper. A better option would be the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs item # SSR-610-54.
