These custom-fit tie-downs bolt right into your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—so your camper stays secure and stable on long trips. Mounting directly to the frame distributes the camper’s weight evenly and lowers the center of gravity, which keeps handling smooth even with heavy loads. You won’t have to worry about sway or shifting in strong crosswinds, and your setup will feel balanced no matter the terrain.
The tie-downs attach using pre-existing holes in the truck frame, so there’s little to no drilling required. Everything bolts up tight for a clean fit that doesn’t weaken or alter your truck’s structure. The brackets sit snug against the frame with minimal loss of ground clearance, giving you a setup that looks tidy and stays out of the way when driving without a camper.
When you’re not hauling, just remove the arms and your truck’s appearance stays sharp. The brackets tuck up under the body and are barely noticeable. It’s a simple design that keeps your truck looking factory-fresh while still being ready to load up at any time.

Each tie-down is made from strong steel and finished with a high-impact powder coat that helps protect against rust and road wear. Whether you’re driving through rain, snow, or salt, this finish keeps the hardware in great shape over years of use. It’s rugged equipment built to handle rough roads and harsh weather.
The arms feature two pin holes so you can choose how far they extend from the truck body—perfect for clearing fenders or reaching camper anchors without contact. Two anchor holes in each plate let you dial in the best angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately), giving you a solid hold from multiple directions so your camper stays put mile after mile.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at these Torklift custom rear frame-mounted camper tie-downs. Now these are a custom fit part. They are designed to fit the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks, without the running board or the step that's underneath the truck bed. Now on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now these tie-downs will provide the attachment points at the rear of your truck for securing your bed-mounted camper to your vehicle, and we do also sell the front tie-downs. Those are sold separately. Now one tie-down will go on the driver's side, one on the passenger side, and you can see there's two holes right here on the tie-down inserts. These allow you to connect your turnbuckles from your camper to your truck and they don't interfere with anything on your vehicle. And then on the insert that slides in here, there's actually two holes on the shank of this insert, which will allow for different width campers. You can feel dramatic improvement with the vehicle handling and stability, and it's the safest way to haul a truck camper.
Prevents any vehicle sway and camper movement in all directions. Now you can haul your truck camper confidently by attaching your tie-downs to the strongest part of your truck, which is the frame. And, vehicle manufacturers do recommend that all full-height sliding camper bodies should be directly attached to the vehicle frame structure. The frame-mounted design will ensure excellent handling by securing the camper to your truck's base instead of its bed, which will better distribute the weight to help keep the setup from being too top heavy. It also helps avoid bed and bumper damage that's common with other tie-downs system. Now this one is a nice fast no-drill installation, securing your truck camper to your truck.
This will help maintain the value of your truck and preventing rust and bed damage by avoiding having to drill into your truck bed or your bumper. As I mentioned, this is custom fit for your vehicle, the driver's side and the passenger side brackets. The brackets will fit right to the truck frame, so there's no loss of ground clearance. They're perfect for off road truck camping, and then they're virtually undetectable when they're not in use. These tie down inserts right here can be easily removed from your frame mounted receiver brackets with these pins. So you can see if we pull these snapper pins out, the insert right here, can slide it right out and then this bracket will be totally mounted underneath the vehicle.
You wouldn't even know it had them on it. And then when you go to tie down your camper, you just take your insert here I mentioned here's the two different holes for the different width campers. If you put it in the first hole, be for a wider one, if you got a narrower camper, you just slide it to the next hole and then you take your pin, slide it all the way through, clip it, and then you attach your turnbuckles right here and you're all ready to go.And as I mentioned, the hidden design of these brackets returns your truck to the original look when it's not being used with the tie-downs. These are a steel construction. They have a nice black powder-coat finish for durability. It does include everything shown here. It includes the two rear deck tie-down inserts, the frame brackets, all the necessary hardware to install it, nice set of detailed instructions and these parts are made in the USA, but that should do it for the review on the Torklift custom rear frame-mounted camper tie downs.

It definitely is safe the way you have them, Paul! In a perfect world, the turn buckles would be perfect vertical, but this an imperfect world and not all campers have the attachment points in the same place. If you take a look at some of the installed pictures on the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK page, you can see most of them are at an angle. It's perfectly normal. Are you running any suspension enhancement on your Silverado?

Install looks great, Megan! Especially for it only taking two hours! They were moving. : ) Happy we confirmed what you found as well. Tie downs can be a pain in the rear with all the options out there. Now I do have to ask though, have you guys thought about any kind of suspension enhancement for the rear axle? It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the back is sagging a bit in your last picture.

A year later and I would not do anything different. Absolutely the best system available especially paired with the fast guns. The camper is solid mounted and does not move. Yet can still be off loaded in just a few minutes. Remember good stuff isn’t cheap and cheap stuff isn’t good.
