Cargo boxes, bags, and baskets are great for transporting gear on your vehicle's roof. A cargo box has the added benefits of an aerodynamic shape that reduces drag and wind noise, a hard shell to protect your gear, and a higher degree of weather resistance. And you can latch and lock a cargo box for added protection against theft.
The Wedge has 11 cu ft of storage space for groceries, luggage, skis, snowboards, and other gear. The aerodynamic, low-profile design helps to reduce drag and wind noise, and the locking lid conveniently opens from either side of your vehicle. The box has internal tie-down points for securing cargo, and the Memory Mount system offers easy, tool-free installation.
The Wedge's lid is constructed of durable, 3-layer ABS plastic with a transparent acrylic outer layer. This gives it a glossy finish yet it's still resistant to impacts, scratches, warping, cracking, and UV rays. The base is formed using an SPM injection-molding process that makes the box strong, durable, and lightweight. The injection molding also ensures a uniform thickness throughout and is 50 percent stronger than vacuum-formed boxes.
The Wedge lid opens from boths sides for easy access to your cargo. This ensures your gear is always close at hand whether you mount the box in the center of your roof or closer to the driver's or passenger's side.
The lid includes push buttons that allow you to easily open it with a single hand.
The Wedge has a safety lock system with locks on each side of the lid. The keys cannot be removed unless the box is closed and locked. This prevents you from driving off with an unlocked box. The locks also deny would-be thieves access to your gear and the cargo box's mounting hardware.
The Wedge cargo box installs with programmable Memory Mount clamps. After a one-time setup, the clamps will "remember" your vehicle's specific crossbars to make repeat installation quick and easy.
For the initial setup just place the box on your crossbars and insert the clamps through the tracks in the bottom of the box. The clamps adjust along the tracks to accommodate different crossbar spreads. Tighten the clamps with built-in knobs and flip the cam levers closed. The next time you install the box, the clamps will return to this set position when you close the cam levers - no further adjustment needed.
Two included tie-down straps let you secure your gear to 4 internal anchor points built into the mounting clamps. Simply thread the nylon straps through anchor rings on the mounting clamps and wrap them around your gear. The straps secure with buckles that can be opened and closed with one hand.
Two strap hooks are also included. These hooks attach to the underside of the box lid and provide a place to hang the straps to keep them out of the way as you're loading cargo.

The Inno Wedge 660 cargo box is a terrific product! Installation is a snap and perfectly holds our 4 pair of skis. Just completed the ski season and the box performed great. It was the only box low enough for me to put my car in the garage.
Dual sided opening is handy, as I carry multiple sets of skis so I don't have to climb up to get to skis on the other side of the carrier.
Just got it but overall very happy. Install was a breeze, looks very nice and fits out needs.
This rooftop box works great and the best part is that its slim design allows us to have it on the SUV and it still fits in the garage!
So far so good, just got this installed on my Tacoma today. Used the T-slot mounting option for a lower profile mount and really like how it looks. Installation took less than 10 mins.
I appreciate how the roof 'locks' open, it'll make loading gear much easier. However I did notice that raising the roof using one hand can cause the front or back end to catch a little due to the torsion while lifting. My Yakima box would do this too but the Inno has more of an overhang on the top shell. Not a big deal just something to note. It does seem to close much easier than the Yakima and the locking mechanism and handle feel solid.

12 months later and still not think this is the better ski cargo box on the market. My only “issue” that i have with this box and all others is the lack of real rigidity. Regardless of how these boxes sit in the cross bars up front, centered or slightly back at highway speeds they tend to bounce due to then wind. I wish they’d incorporate some kind of internal i-beam on the bottom of the box to stop the flop!
Best low profile cargo box, really happy how it flows with the car!!
Easy to take on and off the car. The box does a good job of keeping water and snow out when driving on the highway. It is large enough to fit 5 pairs of skis and poles. Our skis are fairly long ranging from 165cm to 180cm. The low profile allows us to clear the overhead garage door. The opening and closing mechanism is well built. The box can be opened from either side of the car. We have the box mounted on a Subaru Outback.

We have been getting so much snow in Missouri! It's sounds like you have a lot of skiing experience. Are long skis or short skis better in your opinion? I've heard mixed reviews.

Shortest and lowest profile box that I could find that would still fit skis as needed to fit on a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. Box was very easy to install, while still long for the Crosstrek it fits while allowing the rear hatch to fully open.
Very nice styling and quality appears solid.
Fit to my '16 mercedes gla45 AMG. Fits perfectly and looks great. Love having the added storage and the aero styling.
I ordered this box a year ago, while it was not in inventory. I was aware of this before I placed my order, and was not in a rush to receive it. The box was delivered pretty quickly (2-3 weeks I believe it was), and I received updates from etrailer on my order throughout the waiting process. The Inno Wedge looks great, being slimmer than most other cargo boxes. I can still fit plenty of things in it, which is wonderful given the size! I have nothing but good things to say about both the Inno Wedge 660 AND etrailer!
Super easy mounting system. We like the low profile; it still fits skis and snowboards for 4 ppl no problem! Looks great on our Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Minimal wind noise (any roof box is going to have that). We throw an old rubber yoga mat in the bottom to prevent stuff slipping inside and that works great.
Love this roof box! It’s streamlined and not bulky at all. Installed it myself in very little time (the hardest part was lifting it onto my vehicle by myself). I highly recommend getting the low profile mounting brackets for your aero bar! It makes it look much sleeker than the clamps that come with it.
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the box was completely destroyed during shipping. Ripped, punctured, torn, pushed sideways (it was plastic wrapped upright onto a wooden pallet but arrived at a 45 degree angle) you name it…..but somehow remarkably the roof box wasn’t damaged at all. No dents, scratches, nothing. Guess I can’t blame etrailer since they use a 3 party freight shipping company.

I love this roof box and would highly, highly recommend it! The sleek design doesn’t have much effect on driving control while at high speeds except in high winds. It’s never leaked or had trouble through countless snow and rain storms. My only problem is I’ve run out of sticker space on my roof box after putting too many on.
Very easy to install on my wife’s 2020 Subaru Forester. Added bonus is that it is able to pull into the garage with the roof box installed.
Nice box, shipping was good. Some dents on the cardboard but the cargo box inside had no damage.

I have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica mini van.I was leary to order something that cost this much from an online retailer I never heard of but it worked out great. Ships freight UPS Freight/Tforce is who delivered mine. I had it sent to my work, not conde because of this. We get a lot of freight deliveries there. It was shipped promptly. The directions say to open & inspect before signing for it but freight drivers don't wait around for that. Mine was "Stopped & Dropped" as my receiving guys say. The box was damaged & it was strapped by 1 strap on a pallet. Thank goodness the Wedge was not harmed. I'm 5'4" & 60 years old. I had one coworker help me hoist it on the van. I stood in the side door to attach the front claws & he did the back cause I couldn't reach. At home with my step stool I can reach the back claws. At first I had it too far back because the rubber slits you place the claws through don't run the whole length. It literally took us 15 minutes to install. It's so easy. I did watch the video prior.Im pretty confident I can take it off with no help & possible put it back on. It's just I'm short, it's more awkward then heavy. On the way home I heard no noise at all. For the Pacifica I can add 108 pounds of stuff (150# roof capacity-42# box weight=108 pounds to play with). It will fit all my duffle bags,dog beds, all the crap I don't want inside so I can keep 2 dog crates, a bed pad & bucket potty inside. I wish I had a white van cause the white version is too cool but gloss black looks great on my granite gray van. Just get it!

Still love this sleek box. I can open & close it easily from either side. I removed it by myself. This sounds crazy but to store it in my garage I had an old medical walker from a foot surgery and it makes the best stand to store it horizontally. The gloss look is so nice, it looks 100 better then all the other roof boxes I see put there.
We love the low profile look of the Wedge, it looks great on our Subaru Outback. It holds more stuff than I expected, for us it will usually be camping gear when traveling with the dogs. Installation was easy, love the memory clamps. We have it on Thule aero crossbars. Got out on the interstate and it’s very quiet, not noticeable to us at all. No issues with delivery, it arrived 2 days earlier than expected and the delivery driver was great, the box was in great shape. Always happy with the great service from eTrailer!
