Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Dragon Oval LED Boat Accent Light

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Dragon Waterproof Green LED Oval Boat Accent Light. This small oval LED light with four diodes is going to provide a bright green light for your boat. And this is going to be great for upgrading or replacing your accent and courtesy lighting. As you can see, I already have this connected to my power supply and you can see just how bright these green diodes are with my studio lights on. But let me give you a better example of what this is going to look like in low light or dark conditions with my studio lights off. And you can see as I shine this on my table, just how bright this is.

And I'm gonna zoom out here and hopefully you can get a better idea of what this is going to look like from that distance. And I'm gonna shine this on the wall behind me. These are premium LEDs and they're gonna be energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant. This light has an output of 32 lumens and it's rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. These green LEDs are sealed in a durable polycarbonate waterproof housing and this clear UV and impact resistant lens unit has an IP rating of 68, and the circuit board is of a military grade construction.

The urethane potting offers better protection than common epoxy potting and controlling the heat transfer inside this light. And this is going to be a surface mount installation that requires a mounting cover and two #4 screws. Those items are not included with this light. And this will hardwire to your 12 volt DC systems with these two nine-inch long wires. Now this has an input voltage of 9 volts to 14 volts and a power draw of 0.04 to 0.07 amps.

Now let me go ahead and pull out my ruler here and give you some overall dimensions. Looking at the overall length, as you can see, lining that up, we are sitting right at 1-3/8" long. And then looking at the overall width, we're sitting right at 3/4" wide. Then looking at the overall thickness, we're sitting right at 1/2" thick.

And then the distance between these mounting holes, lining that up center to center as best as I can, looks like we're sitting right at an inch on those mounting holes center to center.
