Specs:
Drop ladders are great for providing quick access to your boat or swim platform from the water. The fold-over design of this ladder allows for easy access to the water. When stowed, this ladder will have an over-platform position, which means that it will fold up and store on your deck when it's not in use. To use the ladder, simply flip it out over the edge of your swim platform and telescope the legs out.
When it comes time to secure the ladder and head back, all you have to do is retract the legs and swing the ladder back to its stowed position on the platform. It will wait for you there until it is needed again.
The ladder rungs are covered with UV-resistant, non-skid plastic step pads that ensure steady footing. The ladder is constructed of high-quality 316 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and pitting. The steel has also been electropolished to remove impurities and create a smooth surface free of imperfections. As a result, the ladder is easy to clean and even more resistant to corrosion than untreated stainless steel.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a telescoping transom drop ladder. Now, this is a four-step design. The drop ladder provides an easy way to board your boat after a swim. It does feature the fold-over design, so the ladder actually folds up on the deck for storage and then easily unfolds for us. That way, you can fold it away to protect from damage while the boat's in motion or when you're not even losing the boat.To move it to a stowed position, it's really easy. The unit simply retracts into itself, just like that.
Then it folds over so it's out of the way when it's not in use. When you are ready to use it, unfold it and then extend it out. It's a really nice, easy design, very easy to manage, lightweight, and it's fully corrosion-resistant.The telescoping legs make it easy to quickly extend the ladder. It does feature an electropolished 316 stainless steel construction, so not only is it strong and durable, but it's extremely corrosion-resistant. Also, on each platform, we have a nonskid pad.
It's going to ensure safe, secure footing and the brackets are pre-drilled for easy mounting. Now, when it comes to the overall dimensions, as if it was installed, I took a measurement from the top of the unit to the very bottom. I got a measurement of 45 inches long. Edge to edge right here was 11 and a half inches wide. When it's in the stowed position, it has an overall depth measurement of 16 inches. Overall width measurement including the hardware's about 12 and five-eighths inches wide.
Then from the top of the deck to the top of the ladder, that's going to measure about 2 inches tall. When it comes to the spacing of each step, this one to this one is about 11 and a quarter. This one to this one is about 11 and a quarter. This one to this one's about 11 inches. That measurement's taken from the center of where it mounts on the upright to the same point for the other one. Each of those platforms are slanted at a downward angle.
That way, you can easily get on the ladder when you're ready to board the boat. When it comes to the foot pad, each one measures 7 and three-sixteenths inches long by an inch-and-a-half wide or deep, and then the mounting bracket. Right here, I took a measurement from the very front of it to the very back and got a measurement of 9 and one-eighth inches long. The area that makes contact with the decking is 7 and seven-eighths inches long by 1 and thirteen-sixteenths inches wide. The mount holes, these are separated front to back by an inch-and-a-half, side to side by 10 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the telescoping transom drop ladder with the four-step design.

I really like this ladder. I put one on my new Lund Pro V 1875 after having one on my previous boat.
