Specs:
Drop ladders are great for providing quick access to your boat or swim platform from the water. The fold-over design of this ladder allows for easy access to the water. When stowed, this ladder will have an over-platform position, which means that it will fold up and store on your deck when it's not in use. To use the ladder, simply flip it out over the edge of your swim platform and telescope the legs out.
When it comes time to secure the ladder and head back, all you have to do is retract the legs and swing the ladder back to its stowed position on the platform. It will wait for you there until it is needed again.
The ladder rungs are covered with UV-resistant, non-skid plastic step pads that ensure steady footing. In addition to the step pads, a handgrip at the top of the ladder provides a safe gripping location for stability as you lower yourself onto the ladder, or as you pull yourself out of the water. The ladder is constructed of high-quality 316 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and pitting. The steel has also been electropolished to remove impurities and create a smooth surface free of imperfections. As a result, the ladder is easy to clean and even more resistant to corrosion than untreated stainless steel.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Telescoping Transom Drop Ladder. The drop ladder provides and easy way to board your boat after a swim. It does feature a foldover design so that means that the ladder folds up on the deck for storage when it's not in use, just like this. It does come with a bungee cord here so that way you can place that around this part and keep all the rungs together, so that way they don't extend when you're not wanting them to. That's a really nice design of the unit. Then when you're ready to use it, just unfold it and extend it.There is a cross tube right here.
This is a sturdy hand grip at the top of the ladder that lets you easily pull yourself up out of the water, and then the telescoping legs make it easy to quickly extend the ladder into the water. When it comes to the construction, we're looking at electro-polished 316 stainless steels, extremely corrosion resistant, it's very strong and durable and then on each rung we have a non-skid tread to ensure safe, secure footing. The brackets are pre-drilled for easy installation. Each one has two holes on it, mounting hardware not included. It does come with detailed installation instructions to walk you through that whole process step by step.A few measurements I wanna give you. I measured from the very top of the unit top the very bottom and got a measurement of 33-1/4" long. Outer edge to outer edge right here is 11-1/4" wide.
When it's in the stowed position, so in this position here, the overall width including the hardware measures 11-3/4" wide. Front to back has a depth of 14-1/2" and then from the top of the mounting surface to the top of the unit is about 1-1/2", so nice low profile design. The rungs on the unit are slanted so that way you can easily get on them when you're ready to get out of the boat or, excuse me, out of the water, and the rungs are separated on center, so not top to top but center of mounting to center of mounting, by 11-1/4".Each foot pad measures 7-3/16" long by 1-1/2" deep. The mounting brackets, very front to very back measure 7" long. Contact area is 5-7/8" long and then the contact area width is 1-9/16" wide. The mount holes front to back are separated on center by 1-1/2" and then side to side they're separated on center by around 10".That's gonna do it for today's look at the Telescoping Transom Drop Ladder..

Very satisfied
works as advertised!
Just mounted the ladder on boat have not used it as of yet.
Quality looks amazing, we will see how it holds up against the salt water environment. 316 stainless steel should work well.
Exceeded expectations in quality and function. Way more sturdy than I was expecting.
We bought this ladder to help our dog, Teddy, get into the boat by himself. The ladder is slightly sloped which allows him to climb up. We added slats on the deck so he could have some grip with his claws.
Teddy is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois. His job in life is airs scent search and rescue. He loves to stand on his fire hydrant.
Ladder arrived quickly and fit perfectly when I replaced the old one!
Just received and unboxed the ladder. Initial impressions: very solid and appears to be well made. The steps are a bit stiff to deploy and retract, but I assume that will improve once the ladder is installed and used on a regular basis. I will be installing next week, but right now I am very satisfied with the purchase. Very.
Perfect. The exact replacement ladder for my Tidewater boat.
I finally found a direct replacement for my broken ladder.
Fast ship! Great product.
Very professional! And deliver on time.
Received item, just as ordered...
