Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made pontoon flagpole with US flag. This flagpole is going to measure 24 inches long, and it's designed to work with a pontoon boat, so it's meant to mount to your pontoon boat railing. And, basically, we'll have these two clips to keep our flag in place, and also comes with our American flag. So I'm just going to unfold this. They have thoughtfully folded it in a traditional style there.
So once you unfurl your flag, it's pretty nice heavy-duty material, really nicely stitched as well, so I think it's going to stand up for a long time. We won't have to worry about our American flag getting raggedy anytime soon. And it looks nice from both sides. So there's not one side of this that's going to be the one that looks fancy. Both of them are pretty nice looking there.
So definitely a patriotic addition to our boat. Also comes with two screws to get this attached to our railing. So we'll also have a detachable flagpole there. So that's just two D10s on either side. We can push in to get that installed into the holder that comes with it. Now, this does have a little bit of an angle to it, so it's angled out at 10 degrees to kind of angle it so that the flag can wave as you're going down the river or down any kind of lake.
So we'll zoom out a little bit so we can actually see what this is going to look like. And I'm going to install my flag on here just so you can get an idea how that's going to work. These hooks are made of plastic, so they have a little bit of a bend to them, so you can just kind of pull them up and out of the way to get that flag in place. And then we'll have it hanging there. There's also a little rubber stopper to make sure that our flag is sitting nice and taut on the flagpole, so it'll hang out pretty nicely. Looks pretty nice.
I think that this is a great addition. It's heavy-duty. It's kind of crinkled right now, but I think once it's out in the sun and in the wind, it'll smooth out a little bit. But I kind of like that it's heavy like this, so that gives me some confidence that it's not going to fade anytime soon. It's thicker fabric than I actually first thought, so. The stitches are all really nicely reinforced. Again, I like that all the stars are nice and neat. Those are handsewn. So I think this is just going to look really nice on your boat. And these clips, easy to adjust, easy to remove. So whether you want to switch out the flag for anything else, it should be pretty easy to do. Now, as far as measurements are. Flagpole, again, 24 inches long. So that's going really from where it attaches into that holder to the top of the little knob. With our holder, the total is 25 inches, so a little bit taller. Our flag measures about 12 inches by 19 and a half. So pretty good size for our flag there. These little clips come off of our flagpole by about two inches. The foot on our holder is a total of four inches wide from end to end. The distance between those mounting holes, center-to-center, is about two and 7/8 inches. And I'll just attempt this real quick. And then it's about an inch and 1/16-wide at the base. Stands about one and a half inches tall. The screws that come with this, measuring from the head down, are about an inch long. So it should give you enough of a bite to keep that secure. That's going to do it for our look at the Taylor Made pontoon flagpole with US flag.
