Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this CURT 2 1/2 inch diameter stud mount lunette ring. Has a 20,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this lunette ring is designed to couple with a pintle hitch. This one is a single stud mount, which is designed to let the ring rotate while you tow.
So, it's ideal for off-road towing applications. This will eliminate the need for a swiveling pintle hook on your tow vehicle. This is a strong, forged steel construction. Has a nice, corrosion-resistant, black powder coat finish to it. And includes everything shown here on the table, the lunette ring itself, the castle nut, the split lock washer, and then the cotter pit.
Weight capacity, again, which is stamped on here is 20,000 pounds. Now, the inner ring diameter, which is the inner portion right here, if we put a ruler on that, that's gonna measure 2 1/2 inches. And the stud length, the large stud back here, overall length of it is 3 3/8 inches. The threaded portion is right at three inches. But that should do it for the review on this CURT 2 1/2 inch diameter stud mount lunette ring with the 20,000 pound gross towing weight capacity..
