Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier. First impressions of the carrier on the back of the Highlander, I think it's a good fit, you know, this is more of a medium-sized one compared to some of the other ones out there, but still gonna give you ample room to be able to pile a bunch of stuff up back here and you know, not have to put it on the inside Highlander. I know a lot of people use these when they're going on trips and things like that, so give you a little more breathing room on the inside. Or if you just have stuff that you don't really want to put on the inside of your car, maybe a cooler or if you're doing stuff around the house maybe you need a couple bags of mulch or dirt or anything along the lines, you know, having this is gonna allow you to put all that stuff back here and keep it outside. One thing that I like to do before going on a trip or something like that, is kinda have everything loaded up and ready to rock and roll for the next morning.

Maybe you got the car fully loaded and you lose out on a lot of that cargo space and so you're gonna be able to put all those other things back here. Or especially, you know, if it's one of those deals where you have cargo that you don't necessarily wanna put inside of your vehicle, you can put it back here, or you have stuff that's kind of bulky, but you know, actually hooking up a separate trailer doesn't really, it's not really justified, so this is kind of that go-between and being completely covered, it goes a long way. It's gotta keep all your stuff dry.

Rob: Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier. This is going to be really handy for a lot of different situations. Maybe we're going on a road trip and we want to make sure we have as much space on the inside of our Highlander so we can move a lot of that gear to the outside. It's definitely a lot easier to load this up rather than any kind of cargo basket that may be on top of a roof rack. I don't know about you, but I'm a little bit on the shorter side so if I have a cooler or some larger, bigger gear, definitely a lot more convenient to put it back here than try to get it all the way up above my head. This is going to be a pretty decent size.

Today on our 2019 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese Explorer Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier.Carrier is going to allow us to do a couple of things, either carry more gear than we normally could on the inside of our vehicle or take that stuff from the inside, keep it outside and free up some space for more passengers. Now, one of my favorite things about our carrier is that this is going to be one of the larger ones available. It's going to measure 24" long, 60" wide, and 5-1/2" tall, but it's not going to be so large that it'll look funny on the back of your car. Now, whenever we're using the carrier, it is going to extend the overall length of our Highlander. By exactly how much, from the bumper to the end of the carrier is about 37-1/2".

A lot of people like to use these for generators, anything that basically would smell inside your vehicle. Some households don't have trucks so you have to have something to be able to get materials that you don't want on the inside of your car, such as concrete, maybe small pieces of lumber, any of that kind of stuff. I see a lot of people doing fun little yard projects at their house with these.

Hi there Highlander owners. Today in your 2018 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting Reese's solo cargo carrier with folding grant. With this cargo carrier, you're going to be adding a lot of space to the back of your vehicle for the maximum carrying capacity of 400 pounds. This is great for items such as stability scooters, generators, or lawn care equipment like a mower.Another great thing I like about this, especially with our Highlander here, is that we still have full access to our hatchback here as the tailgate'll open up and it'll clear our carrier so we don't need to store our items in the back. We can put our heavy equipment here and easily get back here for our smaller lighter items. Now, whatever you're going to be hauling on your cargo carrier, you want to make sure you have it tightened down and secure. We're using Smartstraps 500 pound ratcheting straps to keep our generators secure.
