68" x 33" x 40". This large, weatherproof cargo carrier has a locking, clamshell-style lid for easy loading and unloading. The sturdy polypropylene box slides out on a steel base for access to rear of vehicle. Built-in LED tail lights. This is a great cargo carrier with a lot of room, not too happy with the price. We are using this to transport wheelchairs and walkers. We can carry two wheelchairs and a rollater plus rugs, chairs, etc. The top is a clam shell that opens and closes easily once the latches are released.
A couple things could be better. The very long power cable that brings power to the license plate light and brake lights has lots of slack when the carrier is not extended, but no way to control it. I've been looking for a spring that I could use to retract the power cable, yet give it some slack when the carrier is pulled out.
The other thing is the pair of "locks" that apparently lock the carrier. The locks are flimsy and are not much more than another set of fasteners and would keep out only the most casual thief. Also, the lock between the carrier and the vehicle is very hard to reach, for both locking and unlocking; fortunately, the lock part can be pushed onto the rod while locked. A cable would be easier to deal with but would rattle while driving.
Excellent service with etrailer and expeditious shipping! Couldn’t be happier and thank you!!! The model cats are not for sale sadly ??
The cargo carrier is an excellent product! It gives my Motorhome much more space for the cargo like camping chairs, sporting equipment. Easy to install and good to handle!
After much research for use of storage and security this Gear Space unit has served us exceptionally well. Our Class B RV is now complete!
We looked all over for a hardshell storage pod, one that would fit 300 pounds of embroidery hardware. This one from Gearspace fit the bill. Super easy checkout with etrailer.com, and they were the only ones to offer free shipping, and since this is a larger, heavier item, that means LTL Freight. Not [online vendor] and not the Mfg.
The GearSpace 34 arrived earlier than promised, and it was an easy unload if you have room for a sixty foot tractor trailer. 190 lbs on a pallet, but it will load right into the back of a pickup real easy. Took about 30 minutes to install, and it went like a breeze. Light test, check... signals, check. Ready to roll on our next RV trip, with lots more room for goodies along the way.
This item gets an A+, it works as advertised, and etrailer.com was GREAT. They communicate often and update on order status. even sent out an email to get customer feedback and review, along with some pictures. I'm sure after this stellar review they will send me a nice etrailer hat & Koozie
Pictures show the Gearspace 34 loaded with about 200 lbs right now. It never moved an inch and is solid on the mounting hitch hardware. You will not be disappointed with this product, it's top of the line for RV rear storage.

One year using the Gearspace 34 storage pod from Lets Go Aero, and the only thing to add is how nice its been carrying everything we wanted while we RV, instead of paring off items due to the chronic lack of storage space. Also have to report that the manufacturer has asked twice now for review and feedback, yet hasnt sent out my Gears pace hat or koozie. Probably my LAST review, great product but company management that still doesnt get it when it comes to customer satisfaction.
The gear space was delivered assembled; it took m15 minutes to attach mount into receiver and secure. My wife and I were able to lift onto mount with no problems. Looks great on the back of our Renegafe Vienna. An excellent solution to additional storage for full time Rv.
We use it all the time on our Coachmen Beyond (transit camper van). We fit our folding bikes and all our camping and boating gear that we don't want to put in the van such as a small grill, chairs, steam vac, dirty laundry, firewood, tents, cords, pressure washer to name a few. Love that it pulls out so we can fully open the back doors. It does get some water in it when it rains at times. Seems pretty solid and secure when we lock it. I do worry that the rubber closures will dry rot at some point and last I knew you can't get replacements. That would be one thing I wish you would add to the parts list if you haven't already. Overall very nice box.

Currently the latches are not available for purchase however if you need them the manufacturer will be able to work with you on replacements.
This cargo carrier really does it's job with providing lots of space for additional "stuff".
But.... Beware if you are buying to carry bicycles, 2 mountain bikes would be a unlikely fit and 2 road bikes only fit if the frames are not too large. I ride a 54cm and it just fits with 1/4 inch clearance. My friends 56 cm fits if you lower the seat and loosen the handlebars. The actual carrier and slide out system are of high quality, but several attachment bolts that had to be removed to install bike mount were damaged during assembly and were extremely difficult to remove, then had to be replaced. Still have on bolt that is stripped and could not repair. We mounted on a 2020 MBZ Sprinter and the clearance is perfect to slide the pod back and get the doors open. Security options to lock the carrier to the hitch receiver and a lock to make sure a thief doesn't slide the pod off the mounting assembly have to be purchased extra. The locks that secure the pod shut are very secure but tedious and awkward to line up in the holes provided.
Very pleased with initial look and install. Very little to assemble. Looks sturdy. With the two hitch pin locks we bought separately($16 each) we feel our gear will be pretty safe and our box won't likely be stolen from our hitch. The lights all worked. Nice to have the license plate bracket and lights all legal and ready to go. Just plug in! Use a rubber hammer to punch in the reflectors so you don't damage them, but they do go in all the way flush. Fits like it was made for our camper van (Coachmen Beyond on a 2019 350 HD Ford Transit HD Passenger Van). Our back doors opened fully as you can see in the pics with no adjustment needed. There is a little more room for adjustment IF needed according to directions but we didn't need to do anything. We installed the shank that goes into the receiver first and then my husband and I were able to easily lift the box portion and line up the two bars onto the hitch. It seems you would want to install/detach in two steps each time so it is lighter, but I suppose lifting it in and out all assembled and pushing it into or out of the receiver in one piece is ok too, but we didn't try that. We were please to see both of our folding bikes fit in the box with room to spare. We were glad we did not buy the smaller Gear Box that had to be assembled and with less storage space. I see you can purchase replacement reflectors and locks, but I do not see a parts list for anything else that might break like the rubber straps that hold the sides together, replacement lights or the metal bars inside that move for example. Perhaps the manufacturer LetsGoAero has more parts if needed, but they are not exploded and shown in the Product Manual and they were closed today to check. When spending 3,000 on a cargo box you want to be able to replace all parts that might break. Something to check out if it a concern to you.
This was EXACTLY what we needed for the back of our Class B motor home (Ford Transit van). It securely held our two bicycles, backpacks, camping chairs, RV equipment, and much more!!
It took a beating when a semi tractor trailer pressed into the back of this box and we thought the bikes would be broken, but they were OK! The box and bikes were unscathed!
This will also be great to put on our pickup truck for shorter trips.
One thing to watch - on some motorhomes this box may not be the right height. We had to buy a different bar to slide it on so that our motor home doors would open. We had a Coachmen Crossfit Class B.
It came packaged extremely well. It’s ready to go. I haven’t used it yet, but looking forward to it.
SOLID product. We put it on the back of our Yukon, filled it with beach stuff, drove from NC to FL, and hardly knew it was there. Super easy to get on and off. No rattling, no rocking. And WOW does it hold a lot of stuff. Totally worth it!
Great product and good quality
Easily to assemble, works as promised. Customer service was very helpful. Delivery to my driveway in an alley went perfectly. Only negative is that one of the included reflectors would not fit 100%, so even with the setscrew, we came out and was lost along the trip.
Great accessory for the constant traveler on the go with med size family.
Thank you for your extra effort to assure this item was delivered in good time. Requested it to arrive at least by your estimated delivery date, and you succeeded in delivering it three days earlier! Thank you!
Excellent design. Provides ample storage. Operation and installation went as described. So far we are satisfied with the purchase.
Well constructed and great size.
Very large with lots of storage; easy to install.
It is a bit bulky, but if you are buying the "big one" you should already know it will be. the clamshell design works great for loading and closing. My only beef with it (a very tiny one) is the weatherstripping seal is not great quality, and was beginning to fall off on the first road trip.
Outstanding product for extra space when travelling, and the inside area is quite huge.

Thank you for a follow up email. I purchased the cargo carrier for a cross country drive as a part of a military move to South Korea, so I have actually not seen the item since about 18 months ago. lol. It is still attached to the back of my truck, and we will be coming back stateside in October of this year.
Bought the GearSpace 34 carrier about a year ago for the back of our Pleasureway van and it has been a real space saver for us. You can get 4sets of golf clubs plus other luggage etc: in the carrier and it does the job! Very good investment and well made.
This thing is amazing!!!!!

So happy we purchased. We also purchased a 12 inch hitch extender in the past year which allows better access to the back of our Sprinter van while the cargo box is installed. We use this anytime we are traveling more than a few days. It give us so much more room I cannot imagine being without it.
This is bigger than I thought it was, which was surprising, but it also holds a lot more than I thought. I use it on the back of a Class B camper and it holds all of my outdoor gear, including my fire pit. plenty of space. It seems well constructed and sturdy. It does NOT slide out easily when loaded, however, so if you need to get to the rear doors or liftgate of your vehicle, you might consider one that swings out
Love our GearSpace 34! Big enough to fit all our gear! Thank you etrailer
Finally got my gear space, this thing is a beast easily holds 6-8 mid size suit cases and built super solid. Had it put together and on the hitch in 5 minutes! Love it and highly recommend

Its been a year and we have used this a couple of times, include a six week trip across the country. It was great having it, our motor home was not cluttered with a lot of camping equipment. I added the folding wheel set, too. Unfortunately, I have developed problems with my shoulders and lifting things in and out of the carrier can be difficult if not impossible. We decided to try other means of transporting our stuff. Otherwise, it was a great addition to our motor home.
