Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires
I purchased the brake controller and wiring harness from you all and installed it watching the video on your website. I followed the instructions to an absolute T. Got everything ready and tested the product and got an SH error code for the blue brake wire shorting out. I pinned and measured resistance and everything was coming back fine (4+ ohms resistance). I then hooked a power prope to it to find the short along the frame and nothing. I had power from the female connector all the way up to the brake controller. After 4 hours of troubleshooting, I found that the female trailer connector was shorted internally. See the attached picture. The blue and green ring terminals inside of the female trailer connector were touching. Replaced the trailer connector and now all is well.
Kate M. my salesperson, had a most professional interaction with me being certain of my and my vehicle's needs. In addition, she walked me through the complete installation process. This I completed, wiring the 7-way and the Curt Discovery Controller making no errors along the way. On the first test, every terminal on the 7-way tested as it should. When we came home with the RV from the dealer, all the lights and the brakes worked flawlessly. Many thanks!!

Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz.
Connector bundle easy to install & worked great. Although the instructions say to feed the bed connector from the bottom it seemed easier to feed the bumper connectors from the upper the bed connector hole
Nice and thick, stay in place and keep the pins corrosion free. For general connector lube, this will last me a long time.

Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories - 61" x 1" - Qty 1
The Cam buckle keeps the bike rack from bouncing, so I would assume (I know) that should put less stress on the bike rack over time.
Your install videos rock! Great selection of products, with lots of honest reviews. Excellent support with domestically based agents.

No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket - Short
Package had hitch protruding out of cardboard. The wiring harness wire for the right side were short and I had to splice 3 wires to those that were short. The plug adapter was cheaply made. [online] guy said hitch could be installed with a floor jack. I would like to see him try it. Hitch appears to be of good quaility.
Came with beat up box. I already expected the hitch will be damaged, but it was worst than my expectation. It looks like the hitch was previously returned item, so it is not a new item and somebody put an effort painting the hitch to make it look like brand new, but the paint was not even and oversprayed. I did not bother opening the other box because I am already disappointed. I am returning the hitch including the accessories for the hitch.

Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar - Small - 22-1/2" - 30" - 35 lbs
I'm very happy with my Swagman bike rack, fat tire cradles and the frame adaptors. Received them today and got everything set up for our Ebikes. Lauren gave me great customer service and was very in depth with her explanations of all my products she helped me order. It's nice to talk to someone that knows their product line that they sell. KUDOS!!! to Lauren.
The rack and the bike frame adapter works awesome. Buy something good the first time and you’ll never need another one. Very sturdy product. I have a full size Chevy truck and if you mount a single bike on the outside position you can put the tailgate down without tilting it. Very impressed with that. Assembly was pretty straightforward.

Thule Bike Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes
Very easy and quick to install on the bike. Solid, very good construction. Definitely recommend this for the type of bikes eTrailer and Thule recommend them for when using their bike racks.
I bought this version because it is rated to 50 lbs and so it should work for the heavier electric bike. I have been using the lighter version for several years without any problems on my Thule bike rack.

Glacier Multi-Arm Tire Chain Tensioners for 16" to 19" Rims - Rubber - 1 Pair
These guys helped me out selecting the chains I needed for my truck, thensent them out ASAP...just in time for the next storm. I put the chains on and plowed this morning; it was like night and day. What a relief! It was actually fun to plow instead of of anxiety and getting stuck all the time. This was a wet heavy slushy snow too. Thanks all!
The chain tensioners work well. I will take them off when winter ends to protect them from the sun and heat. Great product. So much easier to install than he standard metal spring tensioners.

2019 Outback Limited 3.6 Just completed installation of Echo stealth hitch, Curt 4 way T connector, 4 to 7 way universal trailer brake controller kit, and Redarc Liberty brake controller. This was a fun and very straight forward project. The Etrailer videos were awesome. I took my time and knocked it out a couple of hours over 3 days. Im recently retired so no rush. While awaiting shipment I poked hole through rubber grommet inside engine bay. I then pushed a 3ft length of 1/4" drip irrigation tubing through to pull future brake controller wires into cabin. I had ordered the Curt 4 way T connector earlier so instalked that as well. Videos were great and made finding plug n play connection super fast and easy. Once parts arrived, I instalked Echo hitch and universal 7 way adapter kit. I picked up a torque wrench at Harbor Freight for $30 which worked great. I needed one for tightening tugs anyway so it was great timing. I ran the 7 way wiring down passanger side under plastic shield. It was easier than anticipated and virtually invisible. Most videos show mounting inline fuses near battery. With my 3.6 the passabger side was wide open so I opted to mount the fuses there. This required a trip to Home Depot for an additional 14 ft of 10 guage wire. This was used to run hot 2 wires from 40amp/29amp fuses to battery($9.00). Turns out that the irrigation tubing is the exact size for covering anchor bolts on inline fuse. Probably dont need them but keeps everything safe from accidental arching is crossed. I taped together the white trailer brake wire running from back and the 20 amp output black wire from 20 amp fuse to the piece of drip tubing I previously pushed through gromnet. I added a touch of white grease and it slid through grommet like butter. The final day I instalked Redarc controller. Installation is fairly straight forward especially after knocking out the dirty parts of install. Honestly the most troublesome part of the entire project was identifying the cold brake pedal wire. These wires are minute. The key is having the right tools which I did not. Purchase a hook probe circuit tester and save yourself all the frustration. I watched many videos and there were multiple answers as to which wire is the correct wire. Dont guess or take soneones advice, verify. A hook probe tester like the instalkers use is worth $20. I ended up dropoing by my local uhaul that does custom hitch instalkations. Base labor price $60 which was totally worth it at that point. I saved a lit of $ DIY so I had the pro identify and connect controller to proper brakewure activated when pedal is pressed. I had it all open for him so he only charged me $20. Thank the Lord he was an honest cool guy. After completing instalkation and powering up system the Redarc had no lights whatsoever. I calked Redarc and they had me check for power at black wire on input side, all good. I then disconbected both sides of controller, multi rmwire side and control knob side. After reinstalling the blue led indicator light fired up. Everything is back in place and working great. I dont have our trailer yet, but purchased a 4 way and 7 way tester and all systems are ready for launch! I ended up mounting the control knob onto the fuse cover lid on left dashboard. This was just easy and simple. Added some tacky strips to hold cover securly. This was a fun project and etrailer made it super easy. Items were delivered quickly and great quality. etrailer is my go to stop for everything towing.
Sorry Carol, I had to modify the long bracket in order for it to work on my 2020 Ford Edge Titanium.

Glacier Tire Chain Tensioners for 16-1/2" to 19" Rims - Rubber - 1 Pair
Strong tensioners
We ordered these tensioners with a set of Pewag square link, mud service heavy duty chains appropriately sized for our 315/75R16 tires. Those tires have a tall sidewall and so I opted for the tensioners listed for 16 to 20" wheels. However, with those chains and tall sidewalls of our tires, these tensioners lack sufficient reach to get more than three hooks attached to the chains (photo). If you're planning on using these tensioners on a tire with a tall sidewall and a chain that doesn't extend down the sidewall very far (as ours), I recommend mounting the chains and then measuring the diameter of the circle inside the side chains. Call Etrailer with that measurement and see if they can set you up with a tensioner that will fit. Our ordering experience with Etrailer was great - prompt shipping and compassionate customer service when I explained the problem mentioned above.

Light Kit for Draw-Tite, Tow Ready, and Rola Railed Cargo Carriers
This light kit is just what I needed to finish my new Rola Railed Cargo Carrier for a professional look that offers additional safety to me and other drivers while mounted on my vehicle. Installation was easy. The included zip-ties were very helpful. For additional protection, I added black polyethylene tubing over all wiring and a few more zip-ties. The fit of the light grommets in the available holes of my Rola Railed Cargo Carrier was a bit loose, but not enough for the lights to fall out. They look great and function well!
Package was received with no issues, well packed. Assembly was easy. The light kit install instructions could use a little more detail, hard to tell what they're supposed to look like when properly seated, but not a big issue. Would like to see the wiring harness light connector removable so as to run the wires inside the support channel, but not a big deal. My harness just fit into my connector, but I would imagine others would need an extension. Overall, very happy with the product. I hauled a big gas grill an it was no issues. Plenty of tie-down options. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to expand storage. I can take 7 people in my SUV and now I have a place for their stuff.

LED Light Kit for Draw-Tite, Tow Ready, Pro Series, and Rola Railed Cargo Carriers
The carrier I have is Erickson brand. The seller's pic shows no reflectors or lights. It came with reflective tape and I added the 4 orange round reflectors. Double stacking coolers and covering them with a tarp made the vehicle's [a Ford Explorer] lights hard to see at night. While the Erickson carrier doesn't seem to be set up for lights so I looked around at various options. A poster on another message board suggested the etrailer site. The 98174LED unit seemed like it would fit my needs. Pics of my innovated installation using zip ties. 1. As advertised by seller. 2. Carrier installed on vehicle. reflectors shown. 3. Left light installed 4. Inner pic of left light. 5. Pic of connection. The plug on the vehicle is somewhat corroded, so I purchased a short extension and plan to keep it permanently connected to the vehicle.
The light kit is very well built, although the instructions to install on my carrier could have been better. The wires for the left and right side are not the same length and the longer wire is almost too long. They do work well and look good.

Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long
Exactly what I was looking for and needed ! It was delivered very quick . Actually I just ordered a complete wiring harness from you tonight . Your service and follow up is great
Purchased a Teckonsha Voyager brake controller and the ETBC7 install kit. The instruction an video were very clear and easy to follow. Installed on a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport. Tech support was also very helpful on the one question I did have.

Works as it was designed. I haven’t had to use it again since I purchased it. Hopefully it will last a long, long time.
Great price. Helped cleaning out the threads

Good sturdy bracket. The holes did not line up with my 7 way electrical connector. I fixed it by drilling new holes and now everything is attached securely.
This did not fit the factory connector despite etrailer's recommendation of it. My mechanic was able to modify the factory bracket to fit the hitch at a reasonable cost. When I tried to return the item etrailer would not provide a shipping label because the shipping cost was more than the item cost. I asked for a credit and they would only provide one if I returned the item at my expense.I found this to be unacceptable and will no longer do business with them. They are a definite outlier on this, in my experience.

Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers
I needed a trailer brake wire wire harness and connector. David verified the correct parts and I received it in a few days. Thanks
Not too difficult to install, but I would recommend using a car lift so you don't have to work from your back (review includes wiring harness and 4-7 Pole Adapter)

Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar
Purchased this unit only after my original adapter bar (from Swagman) was on back order. I called eTrailer after not seeing any activity from my order in 2 days. That's when I was made aware that it was not available for another couple of weeks. Not a big deal but would have liked to be notified sooner and not have the rest of my order delayed because of the adapter bar. The unit is well built, heavy duty and very sturdy. Locking arms lock in place with a click to let you know they're locked. Doesn't fit my wife's bike that well (a bit long) but I've gotten it to work. Used it over the weekend on a 4hr trip and looked and performed great. Thanks eTrailer
Prior to purchasing the bike rack, we loaded our bikes in the back of our CRV. We had not purchased a rack before as we were told that there weren't any racks that would fit a CRV. That's where etrailer.com came in - I went on line and found the site and the rest is history. The bike rack came quickly and with a few adjustments, it was soon on the back of the CRV. Unfortunately, I did not realize that a female bike required an adapter bar so we were unable to use the rack with both bikes until the second order arrived with the adapter enclosed. Friendly and prompt communication from etrailer.com on both orders. I definitely recommend purchasing this product from etrailer.com - just don't forget a Tube Top adapter if one of your two bikes is for a woman!

Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers
The wiring was everything I needed to wire my 92 GMC 2500. This kit will have all you need to install wiring. Order a break controller and a rear 7 way and you will have a complete kit. I would order this kit again, wire is of the correct gauge and the breakers work as designed. You will not be disappointed. Than you etrailer for providing me with the parts I needed once again.

7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 12 Gauge Wires
I installed the ETBC7L 7 way adapter plug on my new 2022 Santa Cruz to be used with the Curt C51180 wireless brake controller. I was able to bend the 7way mounting bracket flange in vise from 90 degrees to about 45 degrees to match the Hyundai OEM hitch 7way mounting bracket. The wire to battery I encased all the way with protective flexible cover. I mounted the circuit breaker under hood by battery and capped breaker terminals with rubber cover that was cut off 4way plug, it worked perfectly. This is one neat little pickup with its 5000 lb tow rating with a brake controller. It was a fairly easy installation and the best way I think without cutting into vehicles wiring for a brake controller. I have enclosed some pics.
This part was installed on a 2018 Subaru Outback. I did use a CURT 57204 bracket to help stiffen the mounting area since I'm using an Ecohitch Hidden Hitch. I also had to use a little more 12 gauge wire than was provided in the kit, as suggested in etrailer's installation video. Great product and very useful videos made this installation a breeze. Thanks etrailer! PS - Use this product if you have already installed etrailer's 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector in your Subaru.

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Toyota Highlander TH450R
Today, we have a 2012 Toyota Highlander and we're going to be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. We'll be using the 53-inch AeroBlade load bars, part number THARB53 as well as the Rapid Crossroad Foot Pack, part number TH450R. So we already have our load bars assembled and now we're ready to mount them up on top of the vehicle. Since this set is designed to work with vehicles with factory raised side rails, there are no set positioning measurements. We'll set the first bar up on top of our raised side rails. We need to make sure that the front bar is running perpendicular to our raised side rails, so in order to do this, we'll measure from a fixed point on our side rails to the leading edge of the crossroad foot on both sides of the vehicle and make sure it's the same measurement.
