Today, we're going to take a look at the Tow Ready Long, No-Drill Mount Bracket for your vehicle end. Now, this bracket is designed to secure electrical connector on the back of your vehicle by your trailer hitch receiver, instead of just having your electrical connector, hanging down and getting damaged. This will attach to a square cross tube design trailer hitch I happened to pull in here just to demonstrate how this connects. It does come with this bracket, will come with this included hose clamp that holds it to the hitch. There's no drilling required, and it comes with the mounting hardware and install your electrical connector bracket to it. This is a nice powder coated steel construction. And basically what you end up doing is you notice it has a 90 degree bend on it.
So what you would do is just put this onto the top of the square tube and then just take your hose clamp, run it through around the square tube and then back through the clamp and then just tighten it down with a screw and it'll hold it into place.Again no drilling is required. It does give you the mounting brackets to attach your electrical bracket to. Now it will work with most 4-Way, 5-Way, 6-Way and 7-Way mounting brackets will attach to this. Now on the product page for this part number, it will list the part numbers of some of those brackets that'll work with this mount bracket. Now for this review, I've happened to pull a 7-Way bracket.
This is part number 118138 just to show you how this bracket all attached to the no-drill. You can see there's two holes here up at the top, and they have the holes here on the top here. You just line those holes up, use the included screws and attach it just like that. And then you'll install your connector right in here, the 7-Way on this one.Now it can be installed on the top of the hitch, just like this I'm showing you. If it ends up being too tall, he can see that when you do attach this, it is a little bit higher than your trailer hitch.
If that's going to be a little too tall, which you could end up doing, is you could put it on the underside and then the same way, run your hose clamp through there, tighten it down that way, and then that way it would lower it a little bit. So just depends on your application, which would work the best. Few dimensions on the bracket itself. The length of it, it's going to be right at six and a half inches. The width of it is right at three inches.
But that should do it for the review on the Tow Ready Long, No-Drill Mount Bracket for your vehicle end.

The hose clamp is used to secure this long bracket to the trailer hitch. The bracket provides a sturdy place to attach the connector specific mounting bracket (Piece 2 of 2).Purchased this to support the receptacle in the 7-way ETBC7 kit for a 2010 Honda Odyssey. I was initially skeptical that it would grab securely onto a round hitch pipe (Hidden Hitch) but it does. In the picture, readers can see that I intentionally installed this 18136 bracket "upside down". There are two reasons: (1) Aftermarket hitch receivers ride fairly low on Odysseys and occasionally mine will scrape the road if there is a steep grade change. Not a big deal, but I did not want the ETBC7 receptacle to scrape the ground and be damaged. This way, the 18136 bracket might scrape, but the receptacle will be protected. (2) Mounting upside down also raises the ETBC7 about an inch, so that it is not hanging lower than the hitch receiver. I also mounted the ETBC7's bracket "backwards". This sets the receptacle a tad inside the profile of the bumper, so that if a shopping cart or something hits the bumper it will be less likely to impact the receptacle. Very pleased with this part, it's sturdier than it looks and gives the ETBC7 a solid platform when you can't or don't want to mount directly into the bumper of your vehicle. 348565
Great bracket, fast shipping and a good price...need I say more. Their customer service is top notch and the entire order process went smooth and they kept me up-to-date during the order, shipment and follow-up. 938799
Installed on a 2020 ford escape. The bracket did stick out a bit far. Its not enough to hit it with your knee but enough to watch for it a bit. 910958

Not my first choice, but a good replacement and a solid product product. Even better still was the customer service. The original bracket said it was in stock, it was not; However, they contacted me immediately recommended a replacement and it still shipped on time 907755
This bracket worked exactly as planed on my 2017 Ford Edge. The How to videos are a great help. 905451
This worked perfectly on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. I test fitted the bracket, marked it at the cross member for the hitch, and used my vise to bend it about 35-40 degrees. 905229

Perfect for mounting the breakaway switch and air connection on my 2021 Dodge Ram rv towing setup . The bumper proper is several inches from the best metal mounting spot so this did the trick perfectly . 898101

Item was nicely painted and included all hardware. Although I didn’t need it I will for sure keep it as a spare just in case my mounting bracket were to ever break! 893605
I bought this bracket along with several other pieces while I was adding a trailer brake controller to my 2015 F-150. Everything (including this bracket) worked perfectly, and I had the entire thing connected in about an hour. 893375
This ring fastener is not a good idea to tie it on round bar. It moves down very easily. 892301
etrailer provided me the parts and video walkthrough, in order to transform my stock wrangler into a trailer towing wrangler. Their product and informative video walkthroughs saved me tons of time and money by not needing to hire a shop to do the work. Thanks etrailer! 889589

Just as ordered. 868542
It fit perfectly as advertised. Just wished I had seen there were two parts to this and had to order this after and pay more shipping. My fault though as it is shown on the site. 868277

Works great. I had to cut it down to fit my Honda CRV with a grinder. After cutting it down, I recommend getting some black paint to keep it from rusting. 858101
