This bike rack has worked well for our family of 4. It allows us to safely and securely carry all 4 bikes through the mountains of Colorado with our Hallmark Milner truck camper. Strong and durable rack that barely moves when driving. etrailer's customer service was outstanding. The rack was initially delayed and after one phone call to check status a warehouse manager quickly solved a minor issue and got the rack shipped. etrailer was fantastic in managing this transaction with extremely limited staffing. etrailer is the first place I check for anything recreation as I've never had anything but stellar service.

Excellent rack, a year later still in great condition. No movement at hitch when driving like other racks. Love the extra bar to work on bike in parking lot. Cracked a part on the rack when backing up accidentally hit it, I called the company and they immediately sent out new part no questions asked and rack is like new. Easy to access the drop and raise bar even with bikes on .A note that with larger mountain bikes only three really fit on the four rack without adjusting handle bars. This rack definitely has some pros and cons (as do most racks). A minor frustration is that despite ordering the rack and add-on at the same time, the keys don’t match so if locking three or more bikes you need two different keys (this has only really irritated me when it was raining). As other reviewers have mentioned, this thing is heavy. Neither my wife nor kids can lift it to put it on or get it off the car by themselves. The downside is that given the size of the rack it is not real convenient to just leave it on the car. When the rack is in the up position, it is impossible to get in the back so it is necessary to lower the rack each time you want to get in. The other downside is that the rack significantly cuts down on visibility when backing up. All that being said, the rack is rock solid and the bikes are very secure. The rack is great for extended trips. When loaded and tipped down, it is great to be able to open and access the back. The spacing of the bikes is great and I don’t have to spend 15 minutes figuring out how to slide four bikes in just the right spot to make them all fit as I did with my old rack. Best of all the bikes are only sustaining damage on the trail, not on the back of the car! Despite some minor annoyances, I highly recommend this rack. As for assembly, my 13 year old put it together by himself in about 20 minutes (I promised him i would include that fact).

We needed to move up from our Saris Bones 3 rack now that our youngest is on a big girl bike. We initially went for a budget platform rack which was (not surprisingly) subjected to a recall. After an incredible amount of research, I opted for the Kuat NV 2.0 Base. I took advantage of the etrailer price pledge program and was very satisfied with the etrailer staff who were very easy to deal with both on the phone and online. Following my order, etrailer inadvertently sent me the incorrect base model. The sent me the 1.25 inch instead of 2.0 inch model and as the shipping label covered the hitch size I only discovered this after opening and unpacking it (thereby having to repack and re-ship it). This inconvenience notwithstanding, etrailer was very apologetic, paid for the return shipping and sent out the correct 2.0 inch model. Unpacking and assembly was easy (the second time...and I learned the valuable lesson of taking photos of the unpacking in the event you need to repack it). You certainly get what you pay for with Kuat! The fit and finish are first rate and the rack's design, in my opinion, makes it the most intuitive, cleanest and best looking rack out there. I was considering the RockyMounts Split Rail 2+2 (similar design and athletics and a bit lighter) but I am so glad I went with Kuat. I mounted it on my 06 Pilot today in less than 5 minutes with my wife's help (though it can be accomplished solo), locked the pin and tightened the anti-rattle mechanism for a rock solid mount. All bikes fit on it like a dream (my 29er, wife's mountain bike and 2 kids mountain bikes...have not tried by road bike yet but I don't anticipate any issues). Very impressed with the rack and my etrailer experience.

After reviewing and researching the other manufacturers of a 2 bike rack, we decided on the Sherpa 2.0. It was easy enough to assemble, just follow the directions. We used it for the first time this morning on the back of my Outback and we were both pleased at how stable it was. Easy to mount our bikes and dismount. We plan to use it on our Mustang and my hubs '68 F100 as well. So far, very pleased with the performance and appearance. We purchased the black one for a 2' receiver.

Your website was so helpful I knew exactly what I was getting. No surprises. The Kuat product is definitely very high quality so I look for many years of use. My favorite features are the light weigh (32#), anti wobble adjustment, and the striking finish. I may leave it on my SUV just for looks!

Fantastic bike rack. Switch it between a Honda Ridgeline and a Subaru Outback Wilderness and it works perfectly. Accidentally lost the locking pin that secures the rack to the trailer hitch and when I inquired with Kurt about ordering a replacement lock keyed to match the locking cables on the rack and the Kuat rep sent one to me for free. (I removed the rack and left the lock sitting on my car bumper. Later that day I drove off and lost the lock on the highway).

Great bike rack. It is easy to install the hitch on a vehicle and to remove it. The Kuat NV 2.0 provides a smooth, gentle ride for road bikes and mountain bikes. Great purchase. Highly recommend.

This rack is heavy, easy to assemble and has zero wobble. The reason I purchased this rack was due to the quality of the rack, but also my last experience with trailer. Great customer service, and if you have a question, it's pretty easy to get hold of a real person! I actually purchased this for an Ebike.

Excellent bike rack. Easy to put together. Fits perfect with the etrailer curt hitch. This is a heavy duty bike rack, which also means it heavy but still manageable. Using this for my Aventon Ebike.

Great sturdy rack, and the wheels are very beneficial. Have never been a fan of the Thule locks, but the rack makes up for it.

Super easy to load 4 bikes and go. Takes me 5 minutes to get all 4 on the rack, compared to 15-20 with the rack I had before. I would change nothing honestly. It's a fantastic rack. It has performed great. I can now quickly load 2 kids bikes and 2 adult bikes on the rack with no special adapters. We can hit trails faster and spend more time riding. There is no real downside. It's also significantly cheaper than competitors and provides a much easier and smooth experience. Is it a great rack for small families who want to ride together. No adapters needed for different sized bikes and super easy to load and unload. I would not recommend this particular model if you don't plan on using more than 2 slots. But for 3 or 4 it rules.

One year in and it is great. I have a 2021 Subaru accent and it is perfect. We carry 4 adult bikes and while it is a tight fit it works great. The rack is VERY solid and does not move when tightened up. Over the past year we have used it 3-4 times with no issues so far. It is easy to use and one person can easily load and unload the bikes. The tilt up feature is nice and when the rack is down and there are no bikes we can open the back hatch without an issue and there is plenty of clearance. We have been very happy with the performance and the price.

Love this rack and use it every day on my Toyota Tundra pickup. I ride my cruiser on the beach and loading/unloading bike/s is really easy. I travel to riding locations as well and even at highway speeds, two bikes remain secure and wobble-free. My bikes are expensive and the stand-up mode of securing them means no worn paint or scratches. If any complaint it's not made for the salty air here in FL and certain parts corrode...even with daily rinsing off. The rack is perfect for the fat and oversized wheels on bikes I've owned...even heavier ebikes...WILL BUY IT AGAIN.

I've had it for a year and I'm VERY happy with my bike rack. Love the built-in locks for deterrence and piece of mind. STRONGLY recommend getting an installer who knows what they're doing. I took it to my dealership and they were going to cut into metal... took it to an authorized installer and they had it securely bolted in in half an hour. I've already demonstrated it to two people out and about who wanted advice on hitch racks. It's a good, solid, easy to use rack! Zero regrets.

We love this bike rack for its ease of use and solid construction. Bikes are quick and easy to load in and lock down tight. The hitch-receiver tightening system works great for a wobble-free rack and the hinge and locking lever work smooth and solid. It looks nice too.

So after much research into bike racks, I decided on pulling the plug on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0. I've looked into the Kuat NV and other brands, but they were just too much for my needs. If you've got "regular" bikes and not the heavier eBikes, then this rack is perfect. I wanted a hitch rack that was user friendly and not overly complicated. I have a mixed bag of bikes and this rack can handle them all, from mountain bikes, street bikes, and BMX bikes. I like that this rack comes with an adapter piece for 20"-24" wheels. Assembly of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 is really a no-brainer. I think it's only 4-5 bolts really. Everything else is ready to go. The anti-rattle hitch ball mechanism is simple to use with just a twist of the dial, easy. The tilt pedal/lever is also easy to access should you need to open your hatch, a solid "click" assures it's in place. So far, loving this rack. Fit and finish is superb. I purchased this bike rack for my 2018 Honda Odyssey. I am very satisfied with the bike rack and purchase experience from etrailer. Loved it so much we ordered it twice! We had our first rack 3 years and re-ordered after we were rear ended and the rack was damaged. Our e-bikes go on and off easily- assembly was easy. We have a 2020 Toyota Highlander and this rack works beautifully - in the photo I have blacked out our license plate state and number. I put reflective stickers on the rack tire holder bar, as our back license plate is maybe difficult to see with the bikes in place. We wouldn’t need to, but we also remove our bike batteries to lighten the load and reduce road and weather spray during our 1,900 mile trips. We LOVE that the bikes tip away so we can access the tailgate without removing the bikes!! Best bike rack ever.

Such a fabulous bike rack!! The rack is simple to mount onto the van’s hitch. It’s easy to add or take off the outer rack either before or after putting it on the hitch. The two part design is a great feature for taking a bike to the shop for repair, for when it’s just the two of us, or we can quickly add the second half for two more bikes. It folds up against the back of the van easily and securely. When needed it holds four adult bikes without any problems. Bikes are SO enjoyable to load onto this rack - way better than racks that support the bike by the frame. I have a Y frame bike so it was always challenging to load it onto a traditional rack. The tire supports move to accommodate any size bike. Bikes that have the lower frame get mounted closer to the vehicle for each section of the rack. The rack is stable when driving, even when fully loaded. The locking feature is nice, especially for when we’re away from home and the bikes stay on the rack overnight. Be careful when lifting as the rack itself is heavy.

I've been using a Yakima RidgeBack 4-Bike for many years however I needed to find a bike rack that would transport my wife's new Trek Verve +2 Lowstep E-Bike. Since it is a Step-through and weighs 52 lbs. with the battery, I was uncomfortable hanging the bike off the RidgeBack. I typically only transport 2 bikes however occasionally need to pack up 3 or 4 bikes. After much research, I decided on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE4. I loved the fact that I could take off the extension and make it a two back rack and appreciated the price. I was however concerned the E-Bike might be too heavy as the specifications note a 50 lb. per bike limit so I reached out directly to Hollywood Bikes. I asked if they thought it'd be alright to place the E-Bike closest to the vehicle with the battery removed. I heard back from them within 24 hours and they agreed, with the battery removed it would be fine. I ordered the SE4 on Monday morning and it arrived Thursday. It was well packaged and easy to assemble using the instructions. I had absolutely no issues and it went together perfectly. The rack is of very good quality and sturdy even when loaded up. I really like that the bikes can be locked down and everything, including the supplied cable is keyed alike. I was able set it up for only 3 bikes as that is all we're taking to Florida next week. I'll follow up after our trip.

I've had this about a year. I love the sturdiness of it. I feel the bikes are safe there and I haven't had any issues with anything on it breaking or asking to wear out. They're are a few things that about me about it, but if I want to haul 4 bikes, I'm not sure that I can get around al the inconveniences of life. It is heavy. So I'm not inclined to take it off very often. With it on it does make accessing the back of my van annoying. It also does obscure vision out the back window when it's folded up with no bikes(I've never had any real trouble from this, I just prefer a wide open view). I've never been reprimanded for it, but the liscence plate isn't very visible with it up, either. The most inconvenient thing about it is trying to hold the bike and work the release buttons at the same time. But that is very easy if you have another person with you (and if you are bothering to have a 4 bikes rack, you probably have another person most of the time). Overall, I really really like it.

We drove from South Louisiana to Lake Tahoe and back with 4 bikes on this rack with absolutely no issues. I have used this rack on both our VW Atlas and our Chevy Bolt EV and it works great with both of them. The rack is a little heavy, but that is to be expected with its size.

This rack has worked out perfect. IT holds 2 bikes with ease yet folds into a fairly flat package when not in use against the back of my vehicle. It is light weight yet very sturdy and well built. I have had strap on bike racks that worked but this one is much easier to load and unload our bikes. The only con is if you don't have a hitch mount you will need one but that allows you to get other accessories like the luggage rack I also purchased from them which frees up space in the inside of my small car. If your on the fence it came well packaged and fast. I did allot of research and this rack gets 5 stars all the way.

Excellent customer service and super fast delivery! Bike rack is true to Thule quality and workmanship. The rack is sturdy and the bikes completely secure. Bikes do not touch each other at all. The rack is quite heavy, but not too hard to handle and load.

Fast delivery and great product! I would recommend that you look up videos on how to assemble. The instructions that come with it are basically useless. With the help of a friend assembly was easy. So far the rack has worked perfectly. It is large and heavy so it could require two people to put in on and take it off of the tow hitch. All in all I am very satisfied!

After much searching, I decided to purchase the Kuat NV 2.0. I was fairly easy to put together….” Read the directions “ it will tell you exactly what and how to put it together.. Great instructions easy to follow. I was able to adjust the wheel cradle to fit my bike quickly. I was a SMALL problem…. I did not get any information from etrailer like I have in the passed… which was strange. So I did not know if they were processing my purchase or not… The money came out of my account. So I after my bike rack showed up… I sent a text to them, with in minutes I received at response, that said they were looking into the problem.. maybe 20 mins later I got a response from them … It seems I Fat Fingered my 1 letter on my e-mail address so etrailer could not send tracking information… Thank you so much GREAT SERVICE. I will use them again

Product was pretty easy to assemble. If assembled it solo, and it was a bit tricky keep the trays level as I bolted them to the center beam. I used the foam blocks that came with the packaging to keep them level as I tightened the bolts. The product looks fantastic in gloss black (matches my trim). Have not mounted the bikes yet (it's winter) though I did mount the rack in the hitch and took a test drive ... all good.

I'm a senior e-biker who wishes to roll back the years, but that isn't possible. I drive a 2020 Chevy Equinox and have two electric bikes, which I had carried on a small rack. I saw the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes and resisted no longer. A few days later, my package was delivered. That night, I read and re-read the assembly instructions. It went together well, with no glitches. The hitch is super sturdy. No wiggle room at all. Once together, I loaded up my heaviest bike, mindful of using one of those metal bars for support since it's a low-step bike. (Remember, I'm a senior. Legs don't swing high like they once did.) Photos accompany them to show how she will ride. This will allow me to explore farther and go places I could not have before I had this rack. I like the ability to flatten it when not in use. This will also allow me to haul my granddaughter's bike together here in South Jersey or, as in "Toy Story," "To infinity and beyond."

Very good rack. Sturdy for my 80 lb e-bike, low profile when folded up it does not block my tail lights, no rust after a year mounted on my car.

Perfect for my needs, 2 bikes load easy and are secure. Gear tray is perfect dimensions for cooler and gear bags.

This thing is well built and Heavy! should work well for my needs. definitely have to load heavier things on the driver's side as it is off center and tilts to the passenger side when not loaded with gear. I also got the tabletop which now I realize is useless for my application. I am using this on my truck with a truck camper in the bed. this makes the table attachment shoulder high. wheels for the wheel kit at pneumatic and flat so I guess I will have to add air every time I intend on using them, I thought the description said they were solid wheels, but I must have read something wrong cause they are definitely phonematic.

etrailer- rapid delivery, excellent service. Thanks! The rack - heavy, but the instructions were clear and all the tools (wrenches) were included in the box. Straps, too. Well thought out. Installed on an Outback, shown with mast at full extension. For my bikes, it appears I can use the lower setting. Instructions say use the taller setting for hitches less than 16” high. Mine is 15” high, but a lower setting makes it easier to hang bikes. I am 6’2” and the high mast is a make-able reach. The lower setting is about 4” lower. I have an 8’ tall garage and the bikes can stay mounted inside. Great enabler for an early morning start. Now I can go Mtn Biking with the gang. Mountain bikes are big and awkward for hauling, I have other racks. I have storage for the rack when not using the rack.

The rack is almost great, but there are some silly issues that I didn't expect for the price point. The rubber straps that hold your fork securely to the mounts were complete trash. It was difficult to secure them and get them out of the way for loading, and after a single road trip two had split open. I ended up buying some cheap generic bike rack straps and those have worked fine, but I should not have had to. I highly recommend putting a tie-down strap (included by e-trailer) from the rack handle to your roof rack to take up any slack in the system. I would also recommend securing your front wheels with a bungie or similar for longer trips. The wheels spin in the wind and cause the bikes to want to shift, due to physics that I have no business explaining. Also, as mentioned by e-trailer, this is not a convenient system for short people, my wife at 5'4" is NOT a fan, so I'm usually on load/unload duty.

My Hollywood ebike carrier arrived the day before yesterday and since it was too hot for me to be outside yesterday, I decided to try to tackle the thing all by myself.   Just for reference sake, I am 57 years old, 5' 2", 115 lbs and have had multiple sclerosis since I was 14 years old.   I used to be one strong little girl, but not so much anymore.  We purchased an Radwagon for me to get more exercise safely and then hubby got a Radrover. But transporting them wasn't going to be easy. I assembled this on the trailer hitch because I knew it would be too heavy for me to handle assembled. I not only got it assembled, I loaded our bikes!   It took about all I have, so this will not be a common occurrence for me, but I CAN do it!

Great Product, Heavy Duty, easy installation! I added brackets to the ends to allow for Break and Running lights, as the bikes will be covered, blocking the Vehicle. Uncovered Bikes work well with out additional lights.

This is a really good rack. We do a lot of car camping out of our Subaru Outback and I wanted a bike rack that would swing aside so we can raise the hatchback and easily access the camping gear, cooler, duffel bags, etc that we carry in back (see photo). This rack 100% solves that problem. Further, the bike hold-downs are very secure. I use them on their own for shorter trips. For a longer trip or one that may involve a rough road, I supplement them with a ratchet strap, but this is probably just unnecessary paranoia--the hold-downs are excellent. My one heads-up about this rack is that it is heavy. I am a large, strong man and can attach it myself, but I do not look forward to the chore. This is a beefy rack and the weight is unavoidable. I welcome how sturdily-built the rack is. We typically carry my normal bike and my wife's heavy e-bike on it, and the rack is totally up to the job. Highly recommended. I have zero regrets about the purchase and the investment in this rack that will serve us for many years to come. The design is pretty much perfect--I can't think of one thing I would change.

We love our RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack. The fact that it can hold our two e-bikes and swings out for rear door access makes it perfect for vanlife. Service and communication from etrailer is outstanading!
