Best Forest River Cherokee Travel Trailer Camper Jacks

I upgraded my '98 sportsmen from tripod stands to these scissor jacks.Setting up is so much easier now. The jacks are very sturdy, fairly priced and were easy to install.

These are great replacement jacks

Easy installation to replace the manual trailer crank. This model is powerful and works well. It has the ability to be rotated 90 degrees so its sideways. The advantage being is that my GMC 2500 AT4 truck tailgate can be lowered with the trailer connected using it in the sideways mounting position.

This jack was a direct replacement for another Bulldog jack that was damaged in an accident. The old jack was still working great after ten years of seasonal use before being damaged. The new jack installed very easily with simple hand tools and has been operating flawlessly. I would definitely purchase this jack again.

My Jack arrived DOA. After installing it on my trailer, the Jack didn’t work. The manual crank handle came in handy because I didn’t have time to troubleshoot and repair it at the time. It was just a wire that was no longer connected to the switch but I have to tell you it was extremely disappointing to receive a brand new item that didn’t work. If it had worked out of the box, I’d give it a five star review. You should consider soldering and heat shrinking the wires to the switches or making the wires longer so they aren’t banjo string tight and putting the lug at a strange angle.

Great product and Trailer has great customer service. It's to bad that the shipping companies do not take better care with the items during shipping! will receive replacement parts to fix what was broken, but it causes lots of extra work for the customer. will have to take complete jack off to replace the broken motor cover because of shipping carelessness!! regards, Dan Ewert

Perfect! My weld for rear bumper was in the way of the bracket, so I just swapped 1 bracket each side from the old jacks, jacks were same size but rated lighter weight. Thanks for quick delivery! Always like the tutorials and pictures.

These stabalizers worked out better than the initial ones from the factory! And the included jack tool was much stronger than the original which easily got bent out of shape and became useless. Only reason it's not rated 5 Stars is that the jack tool is very big and doesn't easily fit in my toolbox. Other than that, would recommend replacing factory stabalizers with the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle!

Do not like the new design. Much slower than the old version and the buttons stick out too far and now I cannot lower my tailgate while the trailer is attached.

This was a direct replacement for my trailer. Simple to install and connect wiring. I did rotate the head of my unit 90 degrees so the front of the jack faces the driver side of the trailer/tow vehicle. This now allows my tailgate to drop fully without interference. Unit arrived on time and in excellent condition. Has functioned properly for several trips in the past year without any issues. My original unit lasted 6 years without any problems until water/moisture got inside the gearbox and contaminated the lubricant causing damage to gears and bushings. I now cover the jack when in storage. Excellent service from etrailer.

I love these jacks I would recommend to anyone who has the time and know how to install these. I installed these on a Minnie plus 31BHDS 35.5 foot travel trailer. It’s hasn’t let me down yet leveling the trailer every time. Even so much that it will lift the tires off the ground on one side to achieve it. Even with the wheels off the ground all doors and cabenits work perfect. The install was tough for one person took me three full days. The way my camper was set up I couldn’t follow there instructions exactly on the placent distances of the jacks but I was within a foot and it works. It has a touch screen for in the camper which after initial set up I haven’t needed to use it. The other control i installed on the exterior front driver side and that’s the one I use every time. It’s so easy now I press 1 button and its level every time. This really makes setting up much faster and less stress I don’t have to yell back and forth with my wife which she hates finding level. Great product so far.

Every time i order from this company i get an email they received my order. I get an email that it shipped. I get an email that it was Delivered. Item arrived a day earlier & in good condition! & was a very easy install ,& is a upgrade from manual one that broke at the handle ,& this is a upgrade for my 2008 22'Airstream Safari! Can't wait for my next outing, Also I like that it comes with a backup manual hand crank in case you need it,& that it was a exact fit for my travel trailer,It's a complete package that needs nothing else.

These slide-out supports provide me with much comfort when the slide out was in use. Very easy to install.

Works. Makes slide out far more stable. Metal head is a little thin, bends a little, but does its job.

After receiving the packages was very severely damaged and there was no Jack.Stand crank and no nuts and bolts.Don't know what else I miss

They seem well built and will do the job that I purchased them for. The installation was fairly simple, I built and welded some mounting brackets to the trailer frame.

There's not a lot to say. The first Stabilizer carton was damaged to the point the carrier couldn't even find the Stabilizer. etrailer.com was very cooperative & sent a second unit out right away. Although the second shipment packaging was damaged all parts were there and undamaged. I installed the unit and it is so so much better, quieter and faster than the old unit. I highly recommend both Lippert and etrailer.com

The shipping of this part was terrible at best! They packaged the stabilizer in a cheap cardboard box and of course it arrived trashed! And of course it arrived almost a week later than they said it would. The rubber cover for the motor is torn, the main metal beam is dented. This is absolute crap on your part etrailer.

Ordered a power stabilizer jack for my 2012 Jayco fifth wheel in 2023 , easy to install the item myself , stabilizer working great , will buy future items at this site , thanks

One of the best additions to our 5th wheel yet! I added these myself and it was not too hard, but I do have the proper tools. One install issue was around the pushout where I had to modify a bracket(see photos) We did a coast to coast and stayed in a LOT of places. These jacks worked very well as long as I got reasonably level side to side first. A few inches out is fine so most spots were a breeze, a few I needed to be on blocks so the tires did not come off the ground. The phone app is great to see initial level from the drivers seat, but I did most final leveling from the control pad. Overall great product and I recommend them especially if you are setting and breaking camp a lot.

The system is not what was advertised, it's better, at least for me. Everything arrived on a pallet in excellent condition, except for the advertised remote. I contacted etrailer and they put a replacement on order which I received a few days later. In the meantime, I tried to place the controller in the mode to sync the remote and see if the remote I had with my RV would sync, but I could not get the controller in that mode to accept a remote. Upon reading the controller label, I noticed it said BT and had a passcode on the side of it, so I downloaded the app and it connected to my phone. It seems the LCI Linc remote is obsolete for my Ground Control 3.0 and it is now using the phone app. Everything seems to work as expected; I'm excited to try everything out this weekend on our first outing. I was able to push a fiberglass push stick from the front basement to where the rear jacks are located without dropping the underbelly and pull all the required cables to the rear of the camper and utilize existing frame holes to bring the connectors out to the rear jacks. I think this will be a nice upgrade to our fifth wheel after our factory landing gear failed.

Before I purchased the Strong Arm my travel trailer would shake considerably when someone would move around the trailer. Since installing the Strong Arm system (which was quite easy to do) movement about the trailer is no longer an irritating issue.

Strongman’s were pretty straight forward to install. Packaging did not come with T handles so I called the great folks at etrailer and new handles were shipped out no questions asked and arrived in 3 days.

Easy installation, reasonable price, works great! Much to my surprise, our trailer had a 2.25" top hole and a 2" bottom hole. This jack fit fine. The lights are helpful.

Nice jack . Fit up on travel trailer was good did have to take 3/16 off the back of round mounting plate so it would not hit the battery box I did check with Ultra-fab and they got back to me the same day ,wanted to make sure this would not effect warranty . well built and quality was very good . So much better then my old jack .

The product works as designed. Easy to install and I have used it approximately 20 times in the last year. The storage for the 7 pin connector and safety chains are a great option. Keeps things nice and tidy when unhooked. I highly recommend this Jack.

Perfect fit and operates very quietly and with abundant power for my 27 foot Lance travel trailer. The Jack-It Lippert bike rack mount fits perfectly over it, and the manual emergency jack crank fits within the tube of the Jack-it if the need arises. Also, the handy ring for stowing the trailer chains and receptacle for stowing the 7-way connector is a nice feature. Very happy with my purchase, and etrailer is fantastic, as usual!

The screw on one Jack is damaged and is in unusable. Would like a replacement. Photo attached.

Definitely a heavier duty version of our campers stock stabilizers. They bolted right up to the brackets and glad we have new stabilizers. I hope the paint lasts on these as that seems to be an issue with the other, cheaper stabilizers. Time will tell.

The CargoBuckle G3 ratchet tie-down straps and 45 degree mounting brackets worked great. Makes loading and unloading a breeze.

This jack was the perfect solution for my application. I have a new enclosed trailer that came with a manual crank and only a tiny battery to run the lights. I did not want the expense of having to buy and cable up a larger battery to just support the tongue jack. Took me 5 minutes to install this new jack using the three bolts that were already on my OEM jack. Now I just back up my truck, plug in the 7-way, and I'm able to move the tongue up and down as needed. Great!

Hello. This is the second one of these jacks that I ordered within the month. Put it on this morning and nothing. It does not work. I plugged my trailer cord in and everything works. Please advise. Thank you.

This electric jack has worked very well. It has eliminated hand cranking to raise or lower the hitch. I am very happy with this jack.

Great price and service, They shipped one half of jack system and after phone and picture of part I received, they found second have and shipped out the next day. Installed easy, but had to call manufacture to figure out the wiring, manufacture was very helpful also. It been on for a year with lots of use.

Finally got around to installing my PT II Stabilizers 30" front and rear of our 26' Surveyor. Pre - assembled them to make sure they went together ok. Luckily I had two sources for power front & rear which made wiring easy, I used a Buss block to make all positive connections, grounds straight to frame, soldered all connections and heat srinked to seal. Using the 3/8" self tappers was fun.Well got it all together and all works well makes trailer very stable, don't have to worry about scissor jacks collapsing anymore.
