Swagman Tailwhip Truck Tailgate Pad Review - 2013 Ford F-150

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we have the Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad for your full size trucks. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2013 Ford F-150. If you're looking for a way to carry on a lot of bikes without spending a lot of money, well the Swagman Tailwhip is a great entry level tailgate pad. Now, it doesn't have the same type of features you would see on more premium pads, but you do have the basic ones that make sure that you can transport multiple bikes safely and securely. With how it sits on the F-150, we're gonna take a look at where it sits, what you may or may not lose out on, and what this adds to your adventure. The Tailwhip is available in two different sizes, with the one being for full-sized trucks, you do have the ability to carry up to five bikes.

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F-150, we're doing a test fit of the Darby extended track hitch mounted load extender. That part number is DTA944. Now we already have this loaded up onto our vehicle. In our first position we're going to take a few measurements and go over some features of the extended truck itself. Here in the first position we've got it set to our highest point. This is going to line up with our vehicles roof or roof rack if we have one on. What's great about this is not only does it work lined up with your vehicles roof, but maybe if you have items that you want to put at an angle you can lay those in your truck bed and then line them up.

Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2011 Ford F-150

Today on our 2011 Ford F150, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. That part number is TH824. Now we already have it laid on top of our tailgate here. We are first going to show you how to secure that down and then we'll go over some things that you can actually put on our tailgate pad and then also how we secure that down as well. The first thing we'll do, since my arms aren't long enough to reach all the way down to the bed even if I lift up, we're going to open up our tailgate here. Now I will hold the tailgate pad with my hip and reach down, grab my strap, and straighten that out. Then I'll just feed it through underneath my tailgate and in between the tailgate and the truck bed here.

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with a two-board capacity, Part Number TH810. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of the carrier onto the front part of our roof rack. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel strap around the front bar, putting it back into the foot of the carrier, and using the small knob on the reverse side to tighten it down. Well move to the other side and repeat this process. We'll grab the second half of the carrier and place it onto the rear bar. We want to make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other for better hauling of our gear. Once we have it in place, we can bring the rubber-coated strap around the bar, fit it into the foot, and tighten the hand knob.

First thing we'll do is just set our tailgate pad up here. We want to make sure these big pads on the side are sticking up because that's going to hold to your cargo in their spots. Now, we're going to lift up on this pad here and open our tailgate.
