Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
This is one of the best, two items I purchased of about 6 or 7 items acquired to rig my 2001 GMC YukonXL for flat towing. The 10,000 lb capacity is valued. the tow bar slides work well. the 3/4inch pins are strong and I have had no problems. The tow bar pulls a YukonXL with some extra stuff, fuel and tools and weighs probably 6,500 lbs (my est--haven't put it on a CAT scale). When I rig my 2020 Chev Silverado Trail Boss to flat tow, I expect to be able to use this.
Perfect bar to tow my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. My earlier Falcon is great for my lighter Honda CRV. Thus one is robust and works flawlessly for my Silverado. eTrailer came through again as usual.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 8,000 lbs
I spent five months flat towing my Silverado using this tow bar. I estimate I towed 4,000 miles with it and hooked up and disconnected around 20 times. It has held up very well with no rust or finish issues, which is notable as most of the time my spots were either right on the ocean (within 20 feet of the saltwater) or close to the water. I did rinse frequently and kept the Roadmaster cover on when not in use. Hook ups and disconnects are quick and easy, I suggest using gloves as one time when I raised it up to 90 degrees to snap in to the retainer after unhooking one of the bars was still extended and slid down and pinched my finger pretty good. (This was simply my stupidity, not the fault of the design, but gloves would have helped:) The LED lights on the sides also help make the rig more visible from the side. In my opinion this is the highest quality tow bar currently on the market. eTrailer also did an outstanding job on the entire flat tow installation.
We traveled 7,200 miles last winter pulling your 2023 2 door Jeep Wrangler and it performed Excellent. I did buy the optional cover which I think this is a wise investment to protect it when parked.

Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
So easy a caveman can do it. Great material quality, etrailer was fast on shipping, and hd support ready if needed. I consider myself an intermediate mechanic sk I had no problems doing this by myself. Instructions were good, I modified to make some install details easier and emergency link better.
We had a towbar failure while on the road. Luckily it failed as we stopped at grocery store and not on the highway. I was able to order a new Blue Ox 10k rated towbar and had it shipped to our next campground. We only had to drive two hours disconnected. RV hitch rated for 8K, SUV is 5400 lbs + contents so a 10K rated towbar and cables gave us piece of mind of being the most robust component of our towing setup.

Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
This towbar has been very disappointing. When it was time for a new towbar, I decided to downgrade from the Sterling to this Falcon, and that was a big mistake. This towbar cannot be described as "non-binding". Unless your tow vehicle is perfectly aligned with the motorhome and level, there is no chance of releasing the latches - they bind and will not release. If I get stuck in a stopped position where the car is misaligned from the coach by more than about 10 degrees, or higher or lower than the hitch by more than a few inches, I have a major project to release the towbar from the car, even sometimes having to use a punch and hammer to forcibly remove the hitch pins. Further, after just a few months of use, one of the release mechanisms quit working altogether, so I my partner has to start the car and jiggle back and forth in order to find a spot where I can remove the hitch pins. Once the towbar is unhooked, I have to use a screwdriver to dig around under the failed release lever in order to push the cam in manually so I can push the outer arm back in. The guides along the arms for the cables are not useful and dangerous. I initially used straight power and safety cables running through the guides, and they go chewed up in a short period of time. I had to buy new coiled cables that do not run through the guides, and have had no further problem. As a towbar, this device works fine. But it is NOT non-binding, and I highly recommend upgrading to one of the higher-end towbars. This device is too problematic to recommend, and I would never buy it again.
It took me awhile to decide if this would work with the Rough Country bumper I wanted to put on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. After looking at numerous photos of the bumper I decided to pull the trigger and it worked. The mount cleared the bumper and I’m very pleased with how easy it was to mount and use the tow bar. I did everything myself except wiring the plug on my Jeep.

Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 8,000 lbs
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Took less than an hour to install on the RV with the included safety cables and wiring.I haven't pulled our Bronco with it yet but the tow bar appears to be well built and a quality product.
First, received the package and upon opening, found that the linch pins were missing. One phone call and issue was resolved and replacement items were being expedited to me. Appears the box came open on one end during shipment and parts came out before carrier retaped the tear. Good on E-Trailer for outstanding and prompt customer service! Now, the Sterling All Terrain towbar - very impressive unit as I had bought this on reputation only as no dealers had any in stock (they say it is too costly to carry in store). Very well made, excellent finish and welds. Instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. I like that when you purchase this unit, it is a “total package”. There is nothing I could see that is cheaply made - all quality. This was my first purchase from E-trailer, and based on how this order went start to finish, and having to deal with missing parts on an order - I am very pleased and will deal with them in the future.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plate - Non-Binding - LEDs - RV Mount - 8K
We've been towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 8 months now with this tow bar and it's worked flawlessly! We've been places where the coach and Jeep are not perfectly aligned putting the attaching pins in a bind, but with a simple release of the handle it would release the arm and unbind the pin. Super easy to use. I highly recommend the Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding tow bar. OH! The LED lights along the arm make it look great too!!
Quick delivery and the tow bar was well packed and configured for my Blue Ox base plate. Thanks

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs
The adjustable arms make this tow bar simple to hook up and disconnect. I can pull up behind our RV and hook up in about 3 minuets (including the wiring for our break buddy and putting the transfer in neutral). Disconnecting and stowing the bar is even faster. Although is tow bar is locked to the baseplate and folds flat it is so easy to remove I end up taking it off and putting it in the back when we will not be towing.
I was slightly nervous that this would be difficult to take on and off if I wasn't on flat ground. So for I have not had any issues and I really like that it hooks up to a 2 inch ball. My jeep has a lift on it and getting things level was easy with and adjustable height mount.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Excellent product. Towing 4 door Jeep Wrangler Sport.
I have towed our Honda Accord Sport over 7000 miles now with this tow bar and have been very happy with it. I didn't spend the extra $'s to upgrade to a non-binding bar and while I have had a couple of problems in getting the bars to release it was infrequent. I would suggest you read the owners literature and be sure to clean and lubricate the towbar regularly. It makes a difference

Blue Ox Trion Tow Bar for Pintle Hitch - 2-1/2" Lunette Ring - 20,000 lbs
The tow bar that I purchased has so far been great. I own a concrete mixer truck and I work it in different towns all over the country and in order to bring the Mixer truck and the pick up truck it requires my blue ox tow bar. In 2017 I towed my 2013 ram 2500 behind my 1998 peterbilt Mixer truck from Los Angeles to Las Vegas then from Las Vegas to durango co. Then to Blythe ca. Where my current job is. So it's done me well all year
Responsive Customer Service, thanks.

Curt Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Couldn’t believe etrailer sent this 2nd day deliver for free but they did. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is whoever pounded the two Hex nut, top lock flange, 1/2”-13, grade 5 nuts to make them into lock nuts pounded them to hard makin them impossible to tighten even half way, even with impact wrench. Barely got one back off and had to cut the other off. Replaced with a couple of nylocks, washers and blue locktite and all is good now. Not faulting etrailer any at all. This was on Curt. etrailer is excellent. Second time I’ve purchased from them and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Great people to do business with.
The tow bar is useful - but the installation bolts all had to be machined to fit the nuts. All bolts as in 10 total (already had the mounting plate attached to the bumper of the vehicle so the extra 4 weren't needed) Reworked 6 of them to attach the bar.

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs
While the quality of this units seems excellent, and it is a good price, I was unable to use it in my setup. I Bought it to go with the Blue Ox base plate for a 2014 Chevy Spark. That base plate sets the tow bar connections 23" above the ground. This tow bar requires a 7" rise from the base plate connection to the hitch. Meaning 30" above the ground at the hitch. In my rig, this would require a hitch riser of over 12". I have no complaints about the tow bar, however, it is not a good option with the 2014 Spark Blue Ox base plate.
Towed a 4 door Rubicon with Dodge 2500 truck. The tow bar did great on the 2000+ mile trip. The bar is very easy to couple and uncouple.

Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
On the road in our RV when I discovered our 3yr 7mo Blue Ox Tow Bar had a failure that I was not going to be able to use again. I call Willian S at etrailer about getting a new Blue Ox Tow Bar and having it shipped to a nearby UPS store. William checked to ensure it would be delivered before our scheduled departure. Not only did he assure me it would meet the timeline but he checked it after shipping to make sure it got here. Also he checked about a “like new” tow bar which saved me ~$500. Thanks for keeping me on the road without delay!
We made the best choice of recommendations when we purchased the Blue Ox Ascent tow bar for our Buick and Winnebago Tour Coach. The setup and hook-up are consistently easy to perform, and it takes us less than 10 minutes to be ready to tow our car. This is a great way to have your cake and eat it, too! LOL!!

Blue Ox Apollo Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2-1/2" Hitch - 15,000 lbs

Curt Rambler Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
I ordered this tow bar and D ring adapters specifically for my Bronco and it’s way to sloppy and I can’t use this to tow my Bronco
Great Base plate kit! Very easy to follow instructions even with my aftermarket bumper with winch. It fit perfect. The only issue I have is where the safety cables attach to the base plate….the cable connectors are too big to fit through the holes because the Jeep’s frame blocks part of the hole. See photo with red circle. I will have to get a smaller connector.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
I decided to use an antique Blue Ox tow bar to pull my Mini Cooper behind our RV on a trip to Panama City beach last year. Big Mistake! If it looks questionable, don't use it. When we arrived I was extremely thankful that the Mini was still with us. The old Blue Ox bar was coming apart. I looked locally for a replacement and found one at Camping World and was shocked at the price. eTrailer had the exact same unit for hundreds and hundreds less. And they shipped it quickly right to the camp ground. The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar is very easy to us and mated right up to the Blue Ox kit on the Mini. Thanks eTrailer! We will definitely buy from you again!
Even after I complained to you that I had been -- falsely -- told you do not supply a Blue Ox base plate for Malibus and bought a Roadmaster, you send me a Roadmaster tow bar with some other brand's connectors. I will shortly send you a photograph of the base plate connection I have and expect you to send connections that match it.

Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,500 lbs
Everything arrived timely and well packed. Upon opening, all contents were there and in great shape.Extremely good service! I would order again from etrailer!
Great price, great product. Wish Demco would put a locking hitch pin with their product. Pay the company that much money and you get a standard pin. I think Demco should send a locking hitch pin standard with all of their tow bars and a normal hitch pin with the cotter pin clip optional. Or, just include both, but definitely a locking pin standard with all tow bars.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - 2-1/2" Lunette Ring - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs
This is a great towbar! I deliver motorhomes professionally and I did use a Blue Ox that went into the receiver hitch that I had to move from hitch to hitch rain or shine. Now all I have to do is put my small lightweight pintle hitch hook into the receiver and just quickly drop this lunette ring onto it easily, but when I’m not using this at all it’s so easy to just remove the whole towbar from my vehicle. I also like how easy it is to fold up so that it’s all compact and out of the way when it’s stowed on the front of my vehicle. This makes my hooking up and unhooking so quick and easy. The only thing I don’t like is when I end my trip on a downhill or slightly turned it’s hard to get this towbar off of the pintle hitch by myself, but I have done it every time with a little back and forth moving of my vehicle.
I am using this on the front of a UTV to pull around so it is plenty strong for that and is working good. I ordered the pintle version so that I could fabricate a clevis style hitch and use a hitch pin to pull behind a pickup or tractor. I only gave 4 stars because the latch on the left sider sometimes has a hard time latching. I don't know if there is a way to adjust the lock or not.

etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate - RV Mount - 10,500 lbs
First, this bar is extremely heavy, which makes transporting and maneuvering cumbersome and difficult. Secondly, I had issues with this unit from the get-go. I did not receive the correct bolts to attach the Roadmaster clevis to the arm ends. The instructions clearly state that a clevis bolt was to be installed with the XHD unit, but it was not in the hardware bag. I had to call customer service (which was so/so, almost like the person didn't believe me) and had the bolts sent to me. I received the bolts but long story short, they were too short. They did not come out of the bottom of the locknut and any attempt to torque them to the point they did protrude, caused the forks of the clevis to bend, which is too much stress on such an important piece. I did not feel it was safe to either have the bolts not protrude, or force them to protrude. Then came the days-long process of trying to rectify the situation. I called customer service and attempted to explain the problem to the rep. She didn't really want to hear my problem and I was quickly rushed off the phone and directed to call Roadmaster for support, which I did. Roadmaster, of course, has nothing to do with this bar, or problem (pictures were sent to RM) and I was directed to call eTrailer back. I spoke to another person and she was a little more helpful. However, during our "conversation," I could hardly get a word in (I was spoken over and interrupted constantly.) I was told that #1.) the first person I talked to had no idea what she was talking about #2.) Demco manufactures these parts, not Roadmaster, #3.) Essentially the correct length bolts don't exist in the parts catalog. At this point I am starting to get upset with my experience and just wanted a tow bar that worked. I was convinced to but a Roadmaster branded tow bar to avoid any more issues (Blackhawk All Terrain) which I found to be strange, I figured the margin on the eTrailer branded products would be higher, but I digress. Since there is no exchange program with eTrailer, I had to purchase the Blackhawk outright. I was given a UPS label to send the XHD back, but I had to wait to receive the Blackhawk to reuse the box, which is not a huge deal, a minor inconvenience at this point. As of today (4/26/24) I am still waiting for a refund on this unit which I was assured it would be on it's way once the tracking number showed that it was picked up by UPS, but this is not the case. In conclusion, the XHD seemed like it would be a decent product if they can get the hardware right (at least for the Roadmaster system) it's just heavier than most tow bars I have had experience with. eTrailer.com customer service can also use some work, I was not happy with the service after the sale I received. Oh, and the final kick in the tail, the Blackhawk does not come with safety cables. If this were my company, I would have thrown those in for the inconvenience, but I was offered nothing for the trouble this has caused, no discount on the Blackhawk, cables or anything. I will do all I can to avoid buying from etrailer again and will direct others to the same.
It’s well put together and easy to install .

Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Tow bar is great. Installation was difficult due to Tracker frame. I got stuck doing install and needed a mechanic friend to help finish the job and even he had trouble with getting nut onto bolt inside the frame tube. Product & company are excellent. Just difficult due to Tracker frame.
I purchased both the parts of the tow system. I just purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee (99) to pull behind our motorhome for week end trips. We just returned from the first week-end with access to a vehicle to move around the area, and short trips to town. It adds a wonderful dimension to the experience. This system allowed us to pull this vehicle with our motorhome, and I can say it pulled as if there was nothing behind me. It was quick to hook up, and easy to un-hook. My labor time to install was about 2 1/2 Hours, and went smoothly. This is a wonderful product, and works as desired. I have attached photos of the After installation, and the camp-site we stayed at, (proving we made it)
