Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Excellent and prompt customer service! When I first ordered my product it wasn’t in stock— staff were quick to let me know and offered me comparable products. I ended up waiting for my original order and shipping quick and they stayed in touch with ideas! Thule: The instructions could be a little more detailed. I ended up watching YouTube videos to help me instal. Overall it was easy, and this was the first rack I’ve ever installed and I did it by myself! I was surprised to learn the bike rack is in no way secured inside your vehicle, so.. I store it in my garage when it’s on.
Positive: The product is well thought out and works for a wide range of automotive vehicles. It comes with interesting dampers that i think work. Instructions seem to be translated from another language, but are quite good, accompanying pictures make installation straightforward. A test drive over speed bumps shows that the rack will support the bike for all travel needs. It can be disassembled , collapsed and stored in the trunk. Downside: The rack is made for the classic triangular shaped frame: horizontal cross bar, "male" bike. For bikes without the horizontal bar, mounting is a little less satisfactory. Such a bike can only be mounted on the outside mounts. Cannot use the damper on one side. Picture shows the mounting. as to a design solution, maybe brackets could be replaced with smaller profile, some adjustability? however, as it is, vibration control is good and adjustability with smaller profile would have vibration concerns.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Perfect for my 2019 RAV-4. I like this product because it allows me to drive and park without having to worry about height clearances in the city and parking was still navigable. Definitely worth the money!
First, etrailers.com is the BEST! Okay, this rack is amazing. If it was made in the U.S.A, I believe it would be closer to $ 800.00+, it's not, thus the incredible price point, imo. Incredible craftmanship, sturdy, versatile, nice to look at, as well. Very detailed instructions included. Fits my 2015 Prius 4 perfectly. Our beach cruises both required adaptor bars. I opted to wait on the bike rack, to ensure a good fit, etc. then purchase the adaptor bars. After much research, I went with Delta adaptors, I wish etrailers.com carried them, but they do not. Nevertheless, this rack is tops, highly recommend. Thank you for reading!

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Seemingly well-constructed and supported bike rack. It fits my 2018 Toyota Camry SE just fine and I haven't had any issues with sway or even feeling my bike while driving. I've only carried one bike on it and have used it a limited number of times, so I cannot speak on durability and longevity. Although you shouldn't open your trunk while the rack is attached, I have been able to do so with no issue (without the bike attached).
While getting a bike rack for a sports car isn't ideal, I really wanted to transfer my bike with my own car instead of borrowing my friend's pickup truck. After hours of trying to find a bike rack that would be good for my 07 Mustang, I decided to give this one a try and I gotta say, it has been pretty good so far. It fits very well over the factory spoiler. One of my biggest concerns I was worried about when ordering a rack for my Mustang was ruining the paint, but the feet on the legs haven't left one scratch. I have used this to transfer my bike at freeway speeds (up to 80 mph) on car rides that typically last an hour and my bike was perfectly secure throughout each ride. For extra security, I wrapped both bike wheels with a ratchet strap so the wheels and pedals wouldn't shift in transit. So far, I am very pleased with this bike rack for the price and quality. I would highly recommend this if you want a rack that is affordable and durable.

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Planning on bringing bikes while camping. I mounted 2 of the Swagman bike racks to my new Sportrack on my pop-up camper. The bikes fit perfectly. The racks seem sturdy enough. Not heavy duty, but for my needs they should be fine. Assembly was relatively fast and easy.
We have used the Swagman Roof Rack a number of times when we have needed the additional bike carrying capacity. It took a couple attempts to get the initial spacing of the bike rack properly balanced on the van’s roof rack as recommended by the instructions. But it was easy to do and once set was very easy and quick to put on and take off. The rack works great, the bike is easy to put into place and secure. The bike and rack are very stable and quiet and haven’t required any mid-trip adjustments. We always put the cheapest bike on the roof (lol) but do use a bit of duct tape to protect the finish just Incase. We are very satisfied with the rack and consider it quite a deal for the money.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Fits perfectly on our Lexus CT200h. Only on the old LS400, the side straps have to be fastened to the wheel arch edge, since the upper trunklid gap is to narrow for inserting the strap hooks. Mounting of two bikes is (with some routine) quickly done, and they stay safe even for longer and faster routes. For transporting three (mountain) bikes, though, the design doesn't seem big and robust enough. Nevertheless, the price-benefit-fun ratios are way better than reasonable.
We are very pleased with the quality and ease of use for our like-new purchase. From the online shopping experience with etrailer.com through multiple outings already, this bike carrier more than meets our needs. Thank you!

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Service was excellent. Won't be using the rack until it warms up a bit.
I have a 2017 Acura RDX. I had to be creative for the hooks and straps to work. The lower strap hook is not compatible with my hatch. And I really didn't want to have them hook under my plastic bumper, so I shut the straps in the hatch and hooked them to 2 hooks I have in the trunk. Works perfect. A picture is attached. I have a Cannondale Bad Girl, which is the dumbest bike ever designed ( but that is a different review forum) so I had to be creative getting it mounted like I usually do. Works great. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because I don't believe the hooks are really compatible with the RDX, unless you have an awesome spouse willing to get shut in the trunk and place the hooks for you while you tighten from the outside. etrailer.com has the best customer service I have dealt with in a while. Fantastic crew!

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Performed perfectly on a 140 mile round-trip in my 2017 Acura MDX. It took me a few tries to position the anchors inside the top of the hatch, but I got the hang of it and the rack did not shift at all while driving 50-60 mph on the highway.
Excellent quality! Bike rack comes fully assembled. Cam locks hold the upper support and the bike arms in position and are very easy to use.fairly useless included cable lock. Will only work if you always carry 3 bikes. I just used my cable lock and had no problems transporting my bike to the trails.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
I did a lot of research and decided this was the rack for me. I was totally correct. First, it has all the most important features but only weighs about 14 lbs. I was concerned as a senior lady with arthritis issues. I can use it well and it performed perfectly with an adapter bar for my Electra Townie. I have had compliments from several seasoned riders and a bike shop owner here at the beach who said it was great quality and I got a great price. Also purchased a locking trailer hitch pin with bike cable from etrailer. All over satisfaction with products and etrailer who provided enough videos to help me.
This product is exactly what I wanted. The 2" post fits in the reciever perfectly, and no wiggle. I did tighten the mounting screw, but didn't have to change the hardware I have already (locks). There are two more screws to reduce the wiggles at each pivot point, and there was little to begin with. I tend to test way beyond the breaking point, and did some aggressive driving with every bump across town to the first ride. All good and I won't worry while driving with the bike attached moving forward. Only thing I wish it had was a locking mechanism, but I used a wire cable and lock. The other comparable ones with a lock were 2X the price. I can use the additional lock if I have other plans than just a trail. Service has been outstanding and I will look for any future purchases of this kind to be through etrailer.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Works great for my 2019 Jeep Renegade. I adjusted it to be open a little more, so I could use my rear wiper. It also keep pressure off the rear spoiler.
When I started the search for a bike rack, I was so disappointed and upset to hear that I would need to install a hitch and spend even more money to buy another bike rack for my 2016 jeep renegade. I ordered this bike rack with a little hope but got a huge surprise! Not only is it super convenient and easy to install but I can fully use my trunk and not spend a ton of money!

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
First off, thanks to Jason T. or "Troop". The exemplary customer service he provided is rare these days. Troop made several calls to the various manufacturers to ascertain which bike rack would afford me the most ground clearance as my new VW Golf sits low to the ground and my old bike rack frequently scraped the ground when I went up even a slight up hill grade. His efforts paid off as he found me the best bike rack for my car, the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier. It sits up off the ground just high enough that it doesn't scrape on my driveway. It is also sturdy and holds my bikes securely. And, the delivery was amazingly fast. I had my rack in about 2 days! Note to Troop, see my Pittsburgh Pirates Logo on my bumper in the attached pictures? Pirate Fans persevere! The Bucco's will be coming after your Cardinals this year! Thanks again Troop!

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
Hitch pin broke before I got it. Looks like a poor design for the locking pin, they might want to consider a different design. I got a 3/8 shear pin from Home Depot to replace and it works great. Bike rack is great!

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Rhino-Rack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
I purchased this bike rack a year ago and I use it A LOT. I had to buy and install a stabilizer because without it, the unit would sway back and forth even without a bike on it (very noisy). This makes removal more cumbersome but since I keep the hitch on year round it doesn't matter to me. The tilting function is fabulous allowing easy use of my RAV4 hatchback. I can even tilt it down with a bike on it. I got the 2 bike hitch. Plenty of room for two bikes to fit without rubbing. Lastly, the hitch has a sizable through-hole on the bottom to thread a good sized cable so I can lock my bike up. Sturdy. I highly recommend.
The unit ‘s simplicity is a real plus. It takes less than 3 minutes to put the rack on the vehicle. It is well built and very durable and has a nice feature that allows you to open the rear hatch for SUV owners without removing the rack.
Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ford Escape
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom on the back of our 2022 Ford Escape. The Saris Freedom is a platform style bike rack. It's gonna hold the bike in these wheel cradles at the bottom and by our frame up top it's gonna be a cradle with a strap that runs around the frame to hold it in place. Any sort of frame contact means we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes but with the way this slides up and down along the mast independently from the other one and rotates 360 degrees it is gonna be able to adapt to alternative frame bikes. The other great thing about this is that it does support a weight of 60 pounds per bike.
Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ford Escape
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp EX on the back of our 2022 Ford Escape. The SuperClamp is a platform style bike rack that holds the bike in these cradles by the wheels. And then in those cradles, we've got wheel straps up, but primarily we've got two wheel hooks on each tire. So that's gonna create no frame contact on the bike, making it good for carbon frame, alternative frame. And with a 60-pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be good for some e-bikes too.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ford Escape
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack's Destination 2 Bike Rack, on the back of our 2022 Ford Escape. The Destination is a platform-style bike rack that holds the bike in these trays. We've got some wheel straps down at the bottom that pull the bike down and in, and then we've got a cradle for the frame up top, with a strap run around the frame to hold it upright. Overall, we get a pretty strong hold on the bike, and for a more entry-level rack, this is one that I really like. I recommended it to my own brother and a lot of family members because I think it's a great value.
Swagman XC2 2 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Ford Escape
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Ford Escape, we're gonna be checking out the Swagman XC2 Platform-Style Bike Rack. First impression of the rack on the back of the Escape, really simple and not a whole lot to it. This is gonna be more that kind of entry level type rack, and so this will be a good option for those of you that maybe are just kind of getting into it or ride occasionally. Things like that. If you're someone that's out few times a week, every single weekend, into it a lot more, and out riding all the time, there's some other racks that are probably better suited for you.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Ford Escape
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Ford Escape, we're gonna be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack. I do wanna address one of the big questions that we get asked all the time in regards to hitch-mounted bike racks, and that's if, "You're gonna be able to have access to the back of your Escape" And with this one, the answer is yes. It does fold down outta the way, and to do that, it's just a pen and clip, pull it out. This is gonna drop down, and this one actually comes down really far, probably the furthest I've seen outta all the racks I'm familiar with at least. So it gives you a lot of room here.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Ford Escape
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 Base two-bike platform rack right here on our 2021 Ford Escape. So, the Kuat NV is definitely a premium bike rack. You have all those nice, premium features. It moves really smoothly.
Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Welcome to etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom Bike Rack here on a 2020 Ford Escape. So the Saris Freedom is gonna be a pretty robust bike rack for the Ford Escape. It's gonna be capable of doing quite a bit. It's gonna be able to fit in inch and a quarter hitches, as well as two inch hitches thanks to an adapter on the shank. And you're gonna have two different weight capacities for both of those instances.
Swagman XTC2 TILT 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Welcome to etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman XTC2 Tilt here on a 2020 Ford Escape. Right out the gate, the big things to note for this bike rack are you gonna have a 35-pound weight capacity per cradle. It's not gonna be compatible with Class I hitches for the inch and a quarter. It's only gonna work with the Class II and it's gonna have the frame hook to hold it down inside of the wheel hoops, which is gonna make it incompatible with carbon frame bikes. Taking a look at how the rack sits on the back of the Escape here today, you can see that your back windshield is gonna have most of its visibility retained.
Swagman Current 2 Electric Bikes Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Welcome to etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Swagman Current Bike Rack here on the 2020 Ford Escape. The Swagman Current is uniquely designed to handle electric bikes, so it's gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity per cradle in the two inch by two inch hitches, and it's gonna use a wheel hook design to secure the bike down into the two cradles. The hooks on here are very nice, because they do have such a thick padding. However, because they are hooks that clamp down on the frame, they will make it incompatible with any carbon frame bikes you may have. Looking at how the rack sits on here with a bike loaded up, we can see that our third brake light cowling is still fairly visible to any drivers behind us.
Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Howdy everyone, John here and today we're taking a look at the Thule Helium on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great wheel tire hold for your lighter bikes. So let's take a closer look. It's able to hold by the wheels, so any of your odd shaped frame or your carbon frames are gonna be perfect for this. And in my opinion, whenever it comes to handles for these arms, this is probably one of the best for the wheel hold type. It's going to be a little bit goofy to push down, but overall, once you get it, it's much easier to work with this than some others, like the Inno Tire Hold, which has it down here, so you have to hold onto the arms as you push forward and press the button at the same time.
Yakima StageTwo 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hey everyone, Charles here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima Stage two, two-bike platform rack here on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is a heavy duty bike rack that can carry your heavy duty bikes. You have a 70 pound weight capacity per bike, so, it's gonna be great for your heavy electric bikes. And we also have an added ramp that you can get additionally to help make your bike loading and unloading a little bit easier. But since it is a front wheel mount this is also gonna be great for your carbon fiber frame bikes, as well as, anything with an odd-shaped frame bike as well. One of the great features about this rack is that you can tilt it away with the bikes loaded on there, and I like where the handle is at to tilt it away, it's right here.
RockyMounts GuideRail 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hi there, everyone. John here and today we're taking a look at the RockyMountain GuideRail Two Bike on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great way to get your heavier bikes, maybe your odd shape frame bikes and your carbon frame bikes, out onto the road so you can get to riding. Now this is gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity, which is gonna be able to hold a majority of the bikes you may be getting, including your heavier mountain bikes and then some of your e-bikes. Along with that, like I said, it'll be able to hold carbon frame and odd shape frame bikes, because it holds the bike by the wheels. Right here it is one of these wheel hold bike racks, and I'm gonna undo this just to let you take a look at it.
Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Swagman Chinook two bike platform rack for an 1 1/4" and 2" hitches on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is a heavy duty bike rack that's gonna allow you to carry bikes of up to 45 pounds per bike. It is a frame hold, so if you have a carbon frame style bike or anything with a weird shaped frame, this might not be the one for you. But this does have a lot of great value considering its price point because you can tilt it away with the bikes still loaded. And that way we can access our hatch, grab anything we might need, even sit in there and change our shoes. So we have three attachment points keeping your bike on the rack.
RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hi, everyone. John here, and today we're taking a look at the RockyMounts Monorail on our 2020 Ford Escape. Now, if you're trying to get you and a friend out to the trails, and you need something that will hold your bikes by the tire, this is gonna be a great choice. Now let's take a closer look. Now this is gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity, which is going to be able to hold most of your heavier mountain bikes and your e-bikes along with having a five inch wheel width maximum. That's gonna make it where you can have your fat tire bikes on here, which basically means that a majority of the bikes that you may take, you're gonna be able to use.
Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Howdy everyone. John here, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you need a bike rack that is going to be able to hold heavier bikes, but also have a way of getting those bikes off that bike rack as well. Now when it comes to weight capacity it's going to have 66 pounds for each bike. That's gonna be relatively good. Gonna be able to hold some of your heavier mountain bikes or any of your electric bikes that you may run into.
Swagman E-Spec Electric Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Howdy everyone. John here, and today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you want an ease of use bike rack for E-bikes. Taking a closer look at it, it actually is going to have a pretty good weight capacity 70 pounds per bike, and it's also going to have a slew of features. Let's take a closer look. Now, like I said, it's going to have a pretty good weight capacity which is going to be able to hold everything from your heavier mountain bikes to your E-bikes, but it unfortunately will not be able to hold any of your fat tire bikes, because it only has a three inch tire width capacity.
Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hi there everyone. John here, and today we're taking a look at the INNO Tire Hold 2-Bike on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you need to get your bike to and from the trails, and being able to hold a wide variety of bikes. Now let's take a closer look. Now the tire hold is going to have a 60 pound weight capacity, which is gonna be able to hold a majority of the bikes that you may take whether that be your heavier mountain bikes, your e-bikes, or even just your smaller road bikes. But the fact that it has a different way that it holds because this is a tire hold system.
Hollywood Racks RV Rider 2 Electric Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hi there everyone, John here and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood RV Rider on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a choice if you happen to have your heavier bikes or your fat tire bikes. Let's take a closer look. Now this is gonna be a bike rack that is not only going to work on your vehicle, but say you have an RV or motor home or a flat tow, anything like that, you're gonna be able to also use it on. So it's going to miss some of the specific quality of lifes that you see with other heavier e-bikes. But it's still going to have a very high weight capacity of 80 pounds per bike, which is gonna be great.
Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Howdy everyone, John here, and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Destination Two Bike on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great way to get your road bikes to the trail. So let's take a closer look. So this is gonna have a 35 weight capacity per bike, so that's gonna be pretty good for your road bikes and some of your lighter mountain bikes, but I would not recommend this for heavier, fat tire bikes or e-bikes. It's also not gonna be great for any odd shaped frame bikes or any kind of carbon frame because it is frame-mounted. So keep that in mind.
Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
A everyone John here, and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you need to take your heavier bikes and your E-bikes out to the trail and get going. Now let's take a closer look. Now, right off the bat, let's talk about some of the specs. It's going to have an 80-pound weight capacity per bike, which is really good. There's not that many bikes that are going to be going above that, so it's gonna be able to hold your electric bikes and your heavier mountain bikes.
Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2020 Ford Escape
Hi to everyone, John here, and today, we're taking a look at the Hollywood Destination E-Bike on our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you need to get your e-bikes or your bigger fat tire bikes out onto the trail, and get to riding. It's going to have a 70 pound weight capacity per bike, along with a 4.5 wheel width maximum, which is really good. You'll be able to hold the majority of your bikes that you run into, whether those are mountain bikes, fat tire bikes, or e-bikes. Along with that, I do wanna point out that this is frame mounted, so, if you have odd shaped frames, it's a little bit hard to work with. As you can see, even though we have a straight frame, it's still a little bit of a pain to, kind of, get in the right position, and then, also you won't be able to use this on any kind of carbon frame, so that's always something to keep in mind, but, if you happen to have something that's a little bit sturdier and heartier, I think this is gonna be a good choice.

First impression of the rack, on the back of the Escape, I like it. You know, it's basic, simple, really not a whole lot to it. And that's actually one of the things that I like about it. A super user-friendly, easy to use.
