Best 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Hitch Covers

Thanks for your message and following up a year later! I have purchased two of these hitch covers for both of our cars. I'll attach pictures. I believe the first one I bought was 2 years ago and the second was a year ago. The two year old cover has shown a great deal of rust and deterioration over those two years. The other one is in much better shape but I would expect the same to happen over this next year. I do live in Pittsburgh, a very rainy and humid climate for most of the year. Obviously in winter months, we get a lot of snow and ice with the roadways covered with salt. I'm sure those factors contribute to the rusting of this product. I'll be happy to log in and make a review post similar to above if you would like me to. I have been a happy customer of yours with a few of these similar products. Thanks!

The hitch cover looks great! However the powder coat was so thick that it wouldn't fit into the hitch on my 2016 4Runner without a lot of force. Once we got it in we had to use a mallet to get it back out. Quality should be better for the price paid. Communication from etrailer was excellent through out the sale.

Still waiting for the Demco reed switch.

Product was an easy install about 30 minutes and works like a champ. Only issue I have is unplugging the outer latch . Theres no reason for that.

Perfect finished look for tube and connector pins and keeps water from pooling/rusting in the receiver tube and connector. Worth the low price for sure.

I didn't want dirt, dust, and spiders to get inside the receiver so started looking for a receiver cap that solved that, and more importantly, looked clean. Etrailer always has what I need so I started my search here. I found this one right away and knew this was the one. Our van's receiver was not installed with any electrical wiring so I didn't need the cap to protect the plug. A few minutes of "customizing" and voila!... it fit perfect and looks super clean. I'm glad I bought this one.

My order was originally scheduled for delivery on Saturday and actually showed up today on Thursday so now I can get my trailer back together and hit the road this weekend Thanks very much for the quick shipping

The hitch sensor functions great. The plastic cover, not so much, When using a trailer hitch , the cover does not flex up enough and has snapped off breaking the plastic hinge. This happened going over a dip where the truck and trailer did a V while going across. Since then the hitch cover has been ripped off by a car wash. Because of the broken clip. Both clips are broken and I must remove and store the cover while using a hitch.

Super easy to install. It took 20 minutes. My only issue was finding a 1/2in hex bit socket to shoot the large top bolt. It's not a common size. Once that obstacle was overcome, installation was a snap. My bike rack and trailer are secure and safe on the hitch. I'm happy with my purchase.

So nice for keeping the receiver clean when not using the hitch.

Overall this new hitch cover seems to be a good product. The logo is slightly off center, but I noticed that because I've read reviews pointing this out on similar covers (from other manufacturers). Fast shipping and good customer service, BTW...

Both hitch covers came scratched. They were packed well but came scratched. I will try some chrome polish when the weather cools down. They are more heavy duty than what was on the two vehicles. A lady at a stop light took her foot off the brake and broke the one on the back of my suv. The one on the truck was rusting inside the frame receiver. No pictures.

Received order very quickly. Item was as pictured. Looks very nice. Will probably use locking pin to prevent sticky finger loss.

This is the second one I've purchased. The first one, the "A" fell off the hitch cover. The one I have now, the black is extremely faded and looks light grey.

Customer service has been excellent; however, the trailer hitch cover is starting to show wear less than a year after purchase. I would not purchase this item again due to the premature wear.
