Today we're going to be taking a look at part number AMG100499. This is the South Carolina state emblem two inch hitch cover. The hitch cover is going to allow you to represent your state pride. Hitch covers also add a clean finished look to your hitch and they help keep out dirt and grime which is going to prevent rust erosion to the hitch. This unit's going made from a full model construction and it's going to feature a black power coated finish on it. It's really going to stand up well against rust and erosion.

We're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem on the front face, it's going to feature a rust proof and fade proof design. Here on the backside on the back of that face plate, we're going to have a nice foam gasket. That's really going to help reduce noise as we're traveling down the road, that's going to help prevent rattling. This is an officially licensed product. We're going to take a look at the dimensions real quick starting with the hitch face. It's going to give us an overall width of about five inches. It's going to give us an over all height of about three and a half inches. This is designed for two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. If we take a measurement from the back of that front plate to the center of our hitch pin hole.

That's going to give us a measurement of about two and a half inches. Really simple installation. You place this foam gasket on there and then you simply take the shank portions, slide it into the receiver of your hitch until the pin holes line up and secure it with a standard five eighth inch pin and clip or hitch lock.
