Best 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

Just what I needed. My local Co-Op and ACE didn’t have it. etrailer saved the day. Great selection and fast shipping. I wish shipping wasn’t so expensive.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

The hitch assembly included everything needed for quick and complete installation. Perfect fit for my 2023 Honda Passport. Have been using etrailer for some years now and have never had a bad experience. The self-help videos are a plus for customer service. Good work guys!

Fit perfectly and doesn't rattle. Immediately took a 1500 mile road trip and no rattle at all. Now I just need to learn not to bang my shins into it, lol.

Excellent product. Solves so many problems for me with easy locking, folding storage to save the shins, and versatility with tongue height and trailer hitch ball size. After 40 years of hauling all types of trailers, this could be the last hitch I ever have to buy!!

Works great, very easy to adjust. Keep a rag near to wipe off grease when handling pins and any covering balls for winter rust prevention. Only issue is when using 2" ball in the lowest position,the 2 5/16" ball opposite hags bellow hitch body and scrapes the ball on pitched driveways with low drop gate trailers

I've used the hitch over the last year on several trailers and loads. The adjustability made towing a much better feel and ride over a fixed hitch that at times not the greatest. I see no wear, very easy to adjust even once coupled to the trailer and finding the trailer needs to be leveled better.

I like the look of this set very much and it is easy to mount and adjust the ball mount. The workmanship and finish are beautiful. Customer service was excellent in assuring I found the correct mount for my Ford Escape. I pull my 6'x10' utility trailer or very seldom my pontoon trailer. I like that the adjustable mount comes off very easily as I remove it until I need it while my vehicle is in the garage--it helps prevent knocking your leg against it in the garage. However, I am not having any luck loosening the bolt that secures the 2 chrome balls to the adjustable ball mount; I have the correct Allen wrench but cannot exert sufficient torque to loosen the bolt while the adjustable ball holder is off the ball mount. I want to put a different ball combination on so I can pull my son's trailer, which has a smaller ball than comes with the set, if I have to. I also added the anti-rattle device and it stops the mount completely.

First of all, the products you find at etrailer are not your garden variety, home depot kind of fair. Much higher quality and grade/weight ratings. So to be able to get hard to find items and then by orderring at least 100$ worth of stuff also get it delivered free in 4 days, is awesome. The prices are incredible too.

My 2018 F350 chassis cab has a Knapheide service body with a Buyers hitch installed by Knapheide. It is bolted and welded in place. Unfortunately, it only has a 2" receiver. To have them change to the 2.5" receiver hitch would cost me approximately $1200. The 20,000 lb. Curt replacement hitch would not work on this truck with this bed. The Buyer's hitch has a weight rating of 16,000 lbs. and 1600 lb. tongue weight. Fortunately, Curt has come through again for me with this ball mount. I bought two: one for my 2" ball and one for my 2-5/16" ball. They are great and the drop is very close to what would be perfect. Your towing set-up is only as strong as your weakest link and I now know the the ball mount is definitely not my weakest link. One note to Curt: When you put the stickers on your ball mounts, make sure they're clean. Before I even towed, the thick Curt sticker on both ball mounts started coming off. It feels like there is some kind of coating possibly on the mount and then the decals were applied. I tried pressing them both back on but I doubt they'll last the rest of the week. But as always, Curt has built me a great product for my needs. I'm a one man landscaper business but have spent quite a bit on Curt hitch products because they WORK.

I have not used it yet but looks really well built and looks great.

This is the second one of these I have purchased and they are great. They eliminate any tugging and jerking. Very solid and heavy duty!

My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks

Perfectly as described, Box was a heavy hitch and the box must have been damaged in shipping so it was a little delayed. You can't mess up a forged hitch it still is in excellent condition.

Very happy with this ball mount - provides just the amount of drop we required for a level tow of our GeoPro travel trailer by our RAM2500. Plus, the extra length not only allows a tighter turning radius, but also allows us to lower the truck tailgate without having to detach the trailer. Huge improvement on all accounts for us compared to our prior setup. The product is well built and I'm confident will provide us years of good use.

Everything arrived on time and well packaged. I installed a Curt hitch receiver to go with this ball mount. This is truly the last hitch you'll ever need to buy, unless of course you get a new truck with a larger hitch (example, my new F350 with 3"), in which case you'll probably want that one too!

Purchased the Rapid Hitch Aluminum Ball Mount Kit w/2 Greaseless Balls and the Rapid Hitch Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock. Arrived very quickly. Arrived in great condition. I ordered this hitch so that I could level out my boat trailer . It’s really nice heavy construction. It did the job for me . Really nice ease of changing ball size . Only thing is the sticker was off when it came out of the box . Not usable so it exposed the hole that hitch rotates on

Good quality part at a good price. One suggestion; when customers order a mount and a ball, offer a installation service. Not everyone has the proper tools to torque something this big.
