Served its purpose and made installing my Tekonsha brake controller a breeze! 2021 Honda Ridgeline

Installed on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. The kit had everything that was needed for easy, clean installation. The quality is very apparent. I'm totally satisfied with the product, the timely delivery, and The E Trailer web site which is very educational and thorough.

Installed on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline, good instructions online, had to borrow a pair of ramps to work on underside, probably ok without it too, towed my small camping trailer few times, the controller performed well, good product, relatively easy install about 2-3hrs

This Mounting bracket for a 4pole flat trailer connector was a replacement for the one on My Honda Ridgeline which had rusted out!!Its a Perfect fit and comes with new hardware! Thanks George and E-Trailer!

Did not use for mounting.

Delivered faster than advertised. Took me much, much longer to FIND the Ridgelines connector. Once I going that, it took about 25 minutes to put on and secure the wires

Excellent shipping, packaging and product. Unfortunately I failed to order the matching part (18144) needed to complete the accessory. My fault for not paying attention.

All items shipped and delivered a day sooner than the expected delivery date. The videos on the web site were a big help during my installation. I would order from etrailer.com again!!!

What is there to say about dielectric grease? Customer service here is great though.

Great for what it is, just trash the self tapping tec screws, as these break off before fully seating.

What product to purchace is one thing, getting it is another! With E trailer they don't mess around,excellent response time with shipping and customer service not concerned with using second rate shipping vendors. My go to on line parts company!

I bought this damper mount because it was all set and I didn't have to do anything except bolt it on to my hitch bar. It was very simple just follow the direction provided. Remove the ball then position the damper mount and reinstall the ball. The quality of the part was excellent and everything worked as expected.

I welded it to the curt ball mount after aligning it with the ball mount. Very strong!

hitch installation video was helpful... bolt clearances on the passenger side above the muffler were very tight the space saver spare barely clears the hitch. The wiring harness 7 pin mounting only bolts to the plastic valance. There is no room for any other type of mounting.

Thanks for the great video on installing the 7 pin adapter (ETBC7L). The video was even on a Toyota Grand Highlander - my exact vehicle. I didn't like how low the video installed the bracket, so I made a few bends to this bracket to integrate it more into the the lower molding. This raised it up another inch or so compared to your video. You can see the height difference in the screen grabs of your install versus mine. Bottom line, you can use this bracket to fabricate for you unique situation.

Etrailer is great. I have been using them since 2014 or 2015 for various stuff. This order was for electric Dexter brakes - ten inch. Some other suppliers offer similar ones for half price but they are not as good as Etrailer. Auto-adjust (they call it Never-adjust) is very important. Also the shoes are cut nicer. One of the electromagnets failed - open circuit - first time that happened. I had 6600 miles on it. Curious failure. Recommended changeout is 12,000 miles anyhow so I am not real upset. When you're flying down a 9% grade in the Rockies you want the best brakes and the best tires. Get Etrailer. Get the largest wheel and highest load range tires that will fit your trailer from Etrailer. I considered modifying the brakes to disc. $2000 plus they are not maintenance free either. Nothing is "maintenance free". I could change out all the brakes and drums 7 times for that $.

Excellent. Be sure your axle bearing seals are not leaking grease onto the backing plate.

Brakes work great! I used a self tapping screw to ground the brake to the trailer. This worked really well and I didn't need to run a ground wire. The studs needed a trip to the hardware store to get some 7/16 by 40 pitch (fine thread) nylock nuts. All in all a nice brake setup.

Great product. Not super easy to install. Needed to dremel a slot into the rails in order to fit it in.

The Replacement clamp are working just like the original ones that came with the Tonneau cover. They were ever easy to install.

Instructions were ambiguous for all kinds of applications. Once you start tightening the bottom plate in, it bends into place as tight as you need it. No wiggle here.

Super easy to install. It's actually is more rigid/solid than I thought. Comes with all the hardware you'll need. Definitely a good compliment to a hitch that doesn't have a bracket welded on.

Purchased a Teckonsha Voyager brake controller and the ETBC7 install kit. The instruction an video were very clear and easy to follow. Installed on a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport. Tech support was also very helpful on the one question I did have.

Easy to use, accurate for my application

Great Bike rack. I've used it now for two months both on my truck and the 5th wheel. Very sturdy and safe. Easy to assemble, hook up and load. One small glitch; my 5th wheel has a window in back and the handlebar came close to the window causing concern of window damage, but my wife found a piece of round foam that works great to help this. (see pic) Glad I researched and got this one. Frame adapter bar works simply for step-through bike too.

This bar works great. Use it on the Townie Electra while on the Swagman Dispatch bike rack behind the camper.

Installed this Junction Box while repairing some previously installed sketchy wiring. Having access to these wires made a ground issue we were having very easy to diagnose. Very good product.

I mounted mine onto a piece of aluminum flat stock on the trailer “A” frame to reduce rock impact from Nevada’s gravel back roads. There really wasn’t good location on inside of trailer frame rails, was adding electric brakes and converting from 4 pin to seven. . I’m pretty darn happy with this junction box as it made rewiring rather straight forward. Our local 12 volt guru at the auto electric shop was duly impressed-wanted to know where I found it.

This product made a huge difference in the sway problem I had with my travel trailer. Large trucks and/or cross winds were very scary. I would not recommend towing a large trailer without sway control.

I'm hopeful this item performs as described and attested to by others. I'm using it without WDS and have a welder to 'glue' the tab to my existing ball hitch. Of note -The screw holes on the Spacer Plate and Trailer Mounted Attachment Ball do not align correctly in any of the four possible positions. This is sloppy workmanship and grossly over-tolerant quality assurance. As is, two screws would go in 'clean,' with the two plates square and flush. The other two would feed extremely cock-eyed and crooked. I imagine the screws would fail trying to fully seat them. I suspect any failure ratings the manufacturer has established are seriously compromised. My welder has a drill press; he'll align the good holes and ream the others. I like etrailer. I'm sure they'd replace this. My choice for the DIY.

The extra mounting pocket makes the unit transportable from vehicle to vehicle. I have multiple tow vehicles. It saves the cost of having a controller in each vehicle. Simply unplug and pop out of the pocket and pop in other vehicle. This way your using a controller that your used to and it's functions. Great product

A great way to expand the use of your brake controller if you plan on using it in only one vehicle at a time. Saved a lot of money over purchasing a second unit.
