Best 2018 Nissan Pathfinder RV Vents And Fans

This roof vent is a real game changer for us. It allows us to open and vent our teardrop, even in the rain. Design is sleek. Lock works well. Fan is excellent and quiet.

I purchased this maxxfan to replace the roof vent unit that came on our camper. This new vent fan is whisper quiet and best of all it can remain open while its raining. The install was easy and it fit the original hole perfectly. Used the TremPro 644 sealant also sold by etrailer and the install came out perfect. So far it's holding up with no leaks. Kind of on the flimsy side comparing to the one removed but easy to install. Couldn't use the trim ring inside but after a year still looks new and the lifting/lowering mechanism works smoothly. Overall a good price for the quality.

Purchased this because from Etrailer because they state made in USA. Nowhere is there a made in USA stamp or in print. It looks identical to the made in China ones for $[XX] cheaper on [online resale]. By the build quality I am quite sure that it is Disappointed to say the least

Shipping was above average, very quick. Product was what I expected, HOWEVER The last one I purchased from another co. Included all the required screws. I was miffed when I opened the box and saw no screws, and the directions which I do not need were for a different application. Overall pleased.

Was missing the retaining clips on both items. The old ones were ok.

The order was processed quickly and I was kept informed on the status with e-mails. Vent cover installation and fit up was easy. The mate up of the existing open/close mechanism was a little "fussy". But a re-review of the included instructions confirmed the correct orientation. After I applied a small amount of grease to the friction retaining clip and slide, it was working as good as new.

Emailer is the first and only place I go to for any parts or equipment I need for my trailering needs. Great customer service, fast shipping. I've been using them for many years now. Highly recommended.

My experience with etrailer could not have been better. Their online catalog had very good pictures and product description, so I was confident the I was ordering the right item for my application. Pricing was competitive. George J emailed me after I placed the order to let me know he upgraded my shipping so I could get the product sooner. The vent covers came well packaged and undamaged. Now I need to install them on my vintage 1964 Airstream Overlander, which I bought several years ago and rehabilitated. The white plastic vent covers I installed several years ago became brittle and crumbled. I hope the smoke colored ones I bought from etrailer will last a bit longer, but the price was so fair I bought an extra pair for the next time.

I installed this myself on a vintage camper. It fit perfect in the space where the old vent was. Wiring was simple, and cutting down the bezel was easy. I have left this open for months and even in storms and no rain gets in. Being able to keep it open keeps the camper from getting musty. I also like the tinted skylight effect it gives.

Work great, no problems with rain, snow or leaks. With solar panels we leave both fans on while Class A is unoccupied to keep humidity down and temperature cooler inside rig. We are very satisfied

After many months of fretting over cutting into the roof of my new van, and waiting for the rainy season to end, I found the installation very easy, and the operation is great. We're currently on a road trip, and the MaxxAir has made camping much more comfortable, and it even improves air circulation while driving with the vent open. it's very quiet at low speed and no leaks in even the heaviest rain.

Decided to try the delux fan on my current lance camper. I installed a Maxxfan plus on the last camper, but wanted one with an integrated vent cover instead of needing an extra piece. The lower roof profile is a big plus for me with this fan. Very easy install just like other Maxxfan units. The fan is quiet and pulls a lot of air.

The 2250 Fantastic Fan still working great after a year! Pretty quiet and the thermostat is a handy feature that works well. In my application, it has a tendency to open itself while driving around unless it has been cranked down fairly hard. Driving with it open doesn't seem to be a problem other than the outside noise that comes in that way. My application was a fiberglass raised top on a Chevy van. I had to make a wood frame as the fiberglass did not provide a flat surface to mount to. Photos below show inside frame, fan, and insulation.

This is the second Fantastic fan I have purchased to replace the two vent fans on an older Airstream trailer. Fit, form and function are perfect for my needs. Installation was easy and the fan works perfect.

Operates as described but when closed lifts slightly (flutters) in windy conditions. I’m concerned it might leak when it rains but haven’t been in those conditions yet.

I received the product today. Customer service to this point has been excellent. It will be about a week before trailer repair folks will be here to install, however, I did open and inspect the product. It was not protected in the box and is wedged into the box. I pray it will not be damaged.

This item was not package well at all scratched up the top of it, the order took 13 working days to arrive it sat in the UPS warehouse for 8 days claimed they did have enough drivers, I had to talk to them and etrailer folks sever times to get the shipment delivered, I guess when you live 100 miles from the warehouse they will take there time. On a side note there was a cargo slide and 3 other items on this shipment. not very happy with T-Force I think etrailer should look for a different delivery service. Other than that it worked fine

I bought this to not only keep rain out and allow for air flow while in tow, but mainly to block the light from coming through in the early mornings. This product has done the trick and I couldn’t be happier.

Easy to install. Product is made durable material that will last. Also works well in that I can leave my roof vent open without getting debris or rain inside with this cover design.

I used this vent for an unusual application in my home. It covers the end of an exposed 4” HVAC duct. It has worked perfectly as a heat register in my exercise room. Thanks for the great product!

My AC units couldn't cool down my RV.. Tried everything from the factory and after no reply from the manufacture, turned to the blog. It was suggested some sort of direct vent may help....done and done!! The 5" etrailer Valterra A/C vent looks great, shipped fast and was reasonably priced.....but more importantly, I finally get cool on those hot days!!....

Product worked but wasn't worth the price paid. Ordered the white version which was cheaper and combined with other items for free shipping. Ordered 11/23; Kept changing the delivery till July 2024. You offered the black vents. Charged the higher price and also charged me freight. Turned me off as a customer by bait and switch. Forced me to find a better source for components.

Excellent product and easy to work with. Great service. I was concerned however about insects entering through the vents so came up with a filtration system. Used a PVC coupling and some filter material. Cut the coupling to 1/2 inch rings and remove just enough material to allow an inside press fit. Cut round filter and insert first then hold in place with the ring. On the outside vent cut a long narrow piece as shown. When installed as shown, adds very good double filter and allows air to move freely. Just finished a 6000 mile trip clear across the country and back and filter performed perfectly. This vent was bought to replace one of the roof vents on my recently purchased used horse trailer. The top section of the existing vent was completely missing so rain could come right on in. It was easy enough to remove the damaged vent. Took a bit of elbow grease to remove the old sealant off the roof. The new vent is EXACTLY the size needed and installing it took less than an hour. Now the vent is fully functional once again and no more rain coming straight into the trailer either!

I replaced all 4 rusted and broken vents. The new vents with rubber gaskets fit perfectly, used the same holes. A very easy install, maybe 1.5 hrs.

No more breaking the roof vent on the trailer when shoveling off snow! Customer service was also excellent and shipped fast!

It’s been one year (1/4/23) since I purchased and installed these products on my 1994 Airstream Trailer. The complete kit was more than adequate for my job given that the trailer had a few other areas requiring attention or needing the self-leveling sealer. I waited for the ideal conditions (weather, temperature, and time of day) before applying the parts and sealing a few other external components. We’ve had several rain events and temperature swings and these products have held up very well. The trailer serves more as an office now which increases the importance for not having leaks! Simple replacement and it has held up well. I plan to to add a vent cover over the top so I can left this open in the Summer and not worry about the rain.

Easily and effortlessly installed. They are made of nylon or flexible plastic I believe. White, powder coated aluminum would have been better but after a few hours of searching these were the nicest looking and the best price.

Received promptly. It appears to be stronger than the original vent with the added feature of a rain guard. Hopefully it will prevent loss if we forget to close the vent while driving.

Installed easy despite my aprehension about making a hole in my rv, vent damper cover will flap in the wind if not latched
