We're first going to show you how we secured it in place. You're going to have three straps and cradles: Two straps over the top, and one is our anti-sway strap in the back. To release those, we're just going to pull down and lift up and we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side.A nice thing about our cradles is that they are gonna have a cushioned area to prevent any scratches or abrasions. We'll also have grooves down in there so that our brake lines can fit evenly and we won't have to worry about any damage to those as well.Now we'll take a few measurements here.

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Kia Soul

Today on a 2015 Kia Sole we are doing a test fit of the Swagman XC2 Platform style bike rack. The product number is S64650. Now we already have our bike installed, we're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have our frame hook here. That pushes our bike down into our wheel cradles. Now you may notice on this bike rack compared to others we don't have any wheel straps of any kind. Now I can confirm reading customer reviews and my own experience with this bike rack you don't have to worry about adding extra straps or anything, that this frame hook does really well to hold this bike down.



Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Kia Soul

Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Freedom Superclamp. This is a platform-style 2-bike rack. Part number on it is SA4025. This rack's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches, so you've got options there. The nice thing about it is that there's no actual frame contact with the rack holding the bike. Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Trailhead. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed so you can use it with the 1-1/4" or 2" hitches regardless of whether it's class one, two, or three. The part number on it is S63380. The Trailhead's going to use four straps to hold our bike in place. We're going to have three that come across our frame, and then we've also got one here to prevent that forward and back movement of the bike during transport.
