This item is very well built and well finished. Installation was a snap.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

Just your basic ball mount, the product is just like most 2” Hitch ball mounts, the service wasn’t very good though. Ordered on June 15th (product was in stock) took them 6 days to send it out, took another 6 days in shipping and got all the way to my post office two days before leaving on vacation (I needed it for the vacation) and the post office said “box was empty and they notified seller” etrailer sent a new one (got here a week after my vacation) in a damaged box (packaging is horrible, little bit of paper in a box with a 5 lbs ball mount) almost lost this one too. I don’t believe I’ll be using etrailer in the future (had issues before)

Delivery was fast. Arrived in well packed box. Installed product with no issues at all. Works great and as advertised. Will be towing a travel trailer and needed a connection for a bike rack. When all installed, have plenty of room for placing bikes on bike rack. Really like this product!

This slightly longer than average bar was perfect for my application. The drop length was perfect also for the application. As usual, eTrailer's site and retail experience was first rate. I bought a Curt trailer hitch for my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, with Stow and Go seating. I spoke with Kevin from etrailer.com who was very helpful and confirmed the part numbers for the hitch, wiring harness, and drawbar, and took my order. They arrived at my house on the next day. The parts arrived in two boxes - one large box for the hitch, the other smaller box for the wiring harness and drawbar. The parts were all there, and correct, with installation instructions included. I spent about an hour installing the hitch itself, including jacking up the rear of the van to gain access to the underside, installing the hitch, and letting the car down. The instructions were spot-on. The wiring took less than an hour. I cleaned up and waxed the area behind the tailights, and routed the wiring carefully. The wiring was a perfect fit. Again, the instructions helped considerably. The free shipping was a selling factor, plus their lowest price pledge saved me a little over $30.00. I am glad I decided to purchase the hitch and accessories from etrailer.com.

I would give five stars but due to what looks like packaging problems the hitch came very marred and the coating chipping off.

I ordered and received a class 2 trailer hitch, drawbar, and cap for my Town and Country. Everything was received timely. The box that contained the hitch was damaged as it was not secured well in the box and is so heavy that it slid around and punched a large hole in the side. Even the UPS driver was concerned and asked me to check that no contents fell out. Fortunately none had. Regardless, great products for a great price...trust me, I'm cheap and shop around.

I am an infrequent trailer user, but getting my daughter home from college was necessary in March. This drawbar fits my hitch and utility trailer well, did exactly what it is supposed to do, and was the last thing to be concerned about right then. I have a '11 Mini Countryman S with a Class II receiver from Mini Fini, (which cost twice as much as a Curt) where the hole is flush with the fake grille near the bottom of the bumper cover, so I needed the long bar to reach out past the bumper. The Curt receiver for that car hangs visible underneath the bumper (ugly), which also increases the lever arm on the receiver beam and would have needed an even taller rise. (Curt take note!) All just part of the kit to create an occasional 1 ton pickup out of my Mini, leaving the "bed" at home most of the time.

works well brings the trailer tongue up to level. I have it on an EV so the raddle is annoying, because I just keep on forgetting to buy a anti rattler.

This is very sturdy hitch. It is made of solid steel, not tubing. It will be used on my Mazda RX-3 to tow my car dolly to the RV lot where I will swap everything around and the car will end up on the dolly behind my RV.

Nice solid (not hollow) and WELDED hitch. Have logged about 5,000 miles this year with no problems. I had many problems with bolted on balls, welded hitches are the way to go.

Works perfectly for me. I use it to tow a motorcycle trailer behind my Mini Cooper with a concealed hitch so I need the extra length to clear the bumper. No complaints.

I use this hitch when I pull my horse trailer to make the stop/start transitions as smooth as possible for the horses in the back. It works great. I also love that its a category IV hitch. Really heavy duty. My truck sits pretty high, and the amount of drop - 8" is perfect. I never worry about hitch failure travelling with my horses - they're a heavy load, and any failure would be a disaster. I have a 2012 GMC Sierra HD with a 12" suspension lift. I recently purchased a ball mount hitch with 8" inch drop for our 36' RV trailer and it worked great. It took 3 days for the hitch to get to me. Great service from e-trailer.

I wasn't sure what type of ball mount I needed for my new Mazda CX-9, so I had to call a representative. The first time I called, the very knowledgeable gentlemen told me exactly how to measure my SUV to figure out the drop I needed. Wonderful product. I had the hitch installed in 10 minutes. The wiring was a little more tricky because it required running a power wire all the way to the battery. I towed my trailer from Florida to Tennessee and back. Etrailer is still wonderful to deal with as they always have been in the past. My hitch came in a couple of days. I wouldn't think of ordering from any one else.

I installed this on my 2015 Honda Accord for the purpose of pulling my small aluminum fishing boat and trailer. Works great!
