Getting the coupler height right keeps your trailer stable and safe. This mount gives you a 1/2" rise or a 2" drop so you can run either way and keep the trailer level. A level setup tows smoother, brakes more evenly, and helps prevent sway when the road gets rough.
When you’re pulling serious weight, strength matters. This solid, 1-piece forged steel ball mount is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 20,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 2,700 lbs. It’s made for heavy-duty towing jobs like equipment trailers, campers, and boats—whatever needs dependable muscle behind it.
No moving parts means no rattle or constant adjustment. The fixed design on this Curt mount keeps things straightforward—just slide it into your 2-1/2" receiver, add your hitch ball, pin it, and go. The 8-1/2" length from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole gives plenty of clearance while keeping a clean fit.
Towing gear takes abuse from weather and road debris, but the corrosion-resistant carbide black powder coat finish stands up to it. The matte look stays sharp after road trips through rain or salt spray, and the coating helps protect the forged steel underneath from rust over time.
You can use this mount in either position depending on what you’re towing. Whether you’re hooking up a tall equipment trailer or something lower like a boat hauler, flipping between rise and drop gives you quick flexibility without needing separate mounts.

Best hitch ever, every time I see trucks with fancy trailers with low grade metal and low tongue weight receivers. They don’t know or don’t spend time looking at there set up. Very happy with your great products in towing. Thanks again.

Still satisfied with my purchase, ive had no problems with it. I have not had any issues with it coming loose. The best part about it is not having to pull the receiver out every time I have to change trailer ball sizes.

Great mount for heavy trailering. There is virtually no movement. The paint is holding up well.

Still holding up...the main sleeve has rusted a bit so I must keep some WD40 on it so it wont swell and get stuck to the truck..overall still very happy with the product a year later! One of very few hitches that can tow 15,000lbs!
