What finish does this ball mount have? It looks more matte.

The Curt Forged Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 1/2" Rise - 2" Drop - 20,000 lbs # C45456 does have a more matte black finish to it. Curt calls it Carbide Black and use it on many of their products. Just like other powder coat finishes, it is corrosion-resistant.
